My friends and I (group of 8 ladies) stayed here for one night at the end of our girls trip vacation in Costa Rica. Lily’s house is absolutely gorgeous. We all had plenty of room and enjoyed our last day in CR. It is close enough to walk to a Fresh Market. The grounds keeper, Nery, was available for any of our questions and very helpful and friendly. It was very close to the airport. Loved our time there and we all wished we could have spent another day or two there to enjoy the beautiful house.

We have stayed with Gil many times over the past four years, and it’s always our favorite place! The home is private, has a beautiful view, and is conveniently close to shopping and restaurants. On this visit, we really noticed and appreciated all the recent improvements: A new water system with stable, strong pressure TV with 1000+ channels in the living room Surround sound in both the bedroom and living room New patio furniture A comfortable sofa in the master bedroom A new mirror in the master bathroom A professional-grade juice maker Fresh paint and repairs throughout Gil’s care and attention to the property really show. We always look forward to returning!

Excellent logement, très bien équipé. Literie confortable, propreté irréprochable. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Guillermo avec qui la communication a été très agréable. Nous reviendrons!

Great space, wonderful views and the grounds were beautiful with all the flowers. Really enjoyed the hot tub and the beds were nice and cozy. Stopped there as a half way point to the Caribbean coast. Was a tad difficult finding, but it was in the dark and once we got to Aquarius and looked at the pictures we got there no problem. Host was responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house.

Three of us stayed at Wanderlust to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend. Our stay was nothing short of amazing. Highlights of the accommodations were the incredibly comfortable beds, the peaceful atmosphere and the fantastic hot tub. What really makes this place stand out is Jai. Jai could not have done more to make our stay a magical occasion. She provided us with impeccable food and drink recommendations, connected us with local, trustworthy transportation and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. Jai really is a special treat. We all hope to be back someday.

Moonshine Inn was great! It was comfortable and quiet, and the pool was nice! It was convenient to all of the attractions in Manuel Antonio. Nothing was more than a few minutes’ drive away. Martin and Lorena were excellent hosts. They provided lots of great local information, helped book tours, and even arranged to deliver an item my daughter left. We had a great trip. Don’t miss the guided nature walk. It was phenomenal, and we saw so many animals! Enjoy!

A absolute privilege to spend a few days here as a family. A gem of a house that felt immediately like a home. We loved the quirks and the passion for enjoyment. Top of our price range but to us it was worth every penny. Thank you Tucker.

We had a wonderful stay though very brief as we just needed a stopover place to spend the night on our drive. The host could not have been more responsive and the Airbnb was very comfortable and clean. We wish that we had been able to stay longer! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful off the beaten path home next to the beach. House was beautiful with air conditioning that helped on the hot and humid days. Beach was just across the street which was nice though rip tides were possible so had to swim during certain times of the day to avoid them. Jefferson was always responsive with anything we needed and even offered to do laundry for a small fee which was nice and convenient.

Bei Rückfragen war die Kommunikation sehr schnell und freundlich. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Sehr zu empfehlen!“

Hübsches Strandhaus umgeben von einem wunderschönen Garten mit hohen Bäumen, in denen sich Tukane und Leguane tummeln. Sehr bequemes Bett, Nachtkästchen mit Lampen, viel Stauraum. Guter Wasserdruck in der Dusche, top ausgestattete Küche, Internet funktioniert einwandfrei. Man hat drinnen und draußen ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten, die Hängematten laden zum Chillen ein mit Blick ins Grün der Bäume. 2 min zum Strand, 5 min zu Restaurants, Bushaltestelle geht zu Fuß problemlos. Nicole ist sehr freundlich und antwortet schnell. Als ein Schloss klemmte, war gleich jemand da. Ganz lieb der Empfang mit Obst und Snacks. Zu bedenken ist, dass es eine luftige Strandhütte ist, in der auch Geckos, Krebse & Kakerlaken wohnen. Das viele Grün zieht auch Moskitos an. Ein Moskitonetz fürs Bett fehlt (noch). Im Bad hatte die Holzwand braune Flecken von der Luftfeuchtigkeit, die auch auf allen Handtüchern waren. Da würden wir uns nächstes Mal dunklere Farben wünschen. Trotz dieser Punkte eine tolle Hütte

Si buscas una experiencia inmersiva en la naturaleza sin alejarte demasiado de la comodidad, este es el lugar ideal. Aunque está a solo unos metros de la carretera y al lado de un supermercado, una vez dentro de la propiedad te sientes rodeado de vegetación, con vistas a plantas y árboles, tal como se muestra en las fotos. Es importante tener en cuenta que no hay ventanas convencionales, sino mosquiteros o rejillas antimosquitos, lo que permite una conexión más directa con el entorno. La experiencia de desconexión es muy agradable y el ventilador en la habitación fue de gran ayuda, ya que el calor y la humedad pueden ser intensos. Un detalle hermoso es que por las mañanas diferentes tipos de aves visitan el Airbnb, haciendo que la estancia sea aún más especial. Además, el alojamiento cuenta con estacionamiento, lo cual es un plus. En general, una excelente opción para quienes buscan un contacto auténtico con la naturaleza sin renunciar a la comodidad

Absolutely incredible place to stay for a honeymoon :) we were there for just over a week, and we really loved our little home base. Jan was so helpful with recommendations and even booked our reservation for Manuel Antonio with her Costa Rican debit card since we couldn't do it ourselves. With as helpful as she was, she also gave us total privacy and communicated very effectively with us. I know the person before us mentioned insect issues, but we had no complaints whatsoever and were there for an extended period of time. We were able to see hummingbirds, scarlet macaws, lizards, and other varieties of birds which made just sitting by the pool a fun experience. The shading was perfect for the pool too. You could decide if you wanted to sit in the shade or the sun depending how you feel. The AC cools down the bedroom very fast when arriving home. The private driveway is convenient too. We loved our stay so much! We would certainly consider coming back if in town!

Would rent here again without hesitation! The location is great. We loved being close to town and things to do but still having all the jungle vibes! We saw lots of monkeys right in the back yard! Alex and Glen were both very friendly. We also did the mangrove Kayak tour with Alex & Goldie (his pup)! Would highly recommend that tour! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

Un lugar maravilloso de mucha paz

Matthew and his team were phenomenal. The house was also great and matches the description. Our stay was private and peaceful. A beautiful quiet location but still only a 5 minute drive to downtown Jaco. For the price I don’t believe there is a better choice. Plenty of towels, hot water and the air conditioning worked well. Some of us needed to access emails etc. the wifi worked well and the speeds were fine as well. The living room and master bedroom have tv’s. The pool vibes were awesome while drinking a cold beer looking at the surrounding mountain ranges. They made the transportation very easy for us to and from the airport. We also had a rental car waiting for us when we arrived to the house for a reasonable price. Go book this place you wont regret it. Pura Vida!

This was a great home base for our visit. It was easy to get to from the ferry, and then lots to do close by. The house itself was more spacious than the pictures show, and then lots to pool was of course the highlight. Great for my son, who swam in it all the time. Great for bird watching as well. The restaurant was fantastic, and had a kids menu and play area. For the activities, Noelia was very helpful to organize things. For the turtle island and bioluminescence, we did all in one day. Would recommend splitting them up and also driving to the location rather than being picked up by boat. Was only half hr drive. And for bioluminescence they send you home via taxi because it is after dark. But both activities were amazing! Otherwise there are lots of things close by, and had everything we needed for our family. Loved it!

We loved Gretel’s place - it was a beautiful spot and we felt right at home. It has a fantastic kitchen, a spacious living area, nice bedrooms and a great porch. The pool was really refreshing and was a nice escape from the afternoon heat. We also got to see some amazing wildlife close up - we were visited by some squirrel monkeys, a howler monkey, a toucan and a pair of Scarlett Macaws. It is in close proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park and a bunch of other excursions and near many great local restaurants. I highly recommend.

Very close to the beach with great shaded areas to sit. Amazing sunrises and sunsets! Low tide was awesome, lots of exploring, and enjoying the tide pools. High tide there are great waves for surfing! Very quiet during the week, busier on the weekend. We had the pleasure of a local band practicing on the beach!! Area is safe for walking, there are a few of great places to eat, and a small supermarket within walking distance. Yes there are local dogs that wander, and sometimes they bark, certainly didn’t encounter any aggressive ones. The house is clean, pool is clean, bed is comfortable and air conditioners work well. If you like to cook some meals while on vacation, bring what you need(oil, salt, pepper, spices) Could use a few more utensils for cooking(spatula, tongs..) a couple tea towels. Overall a great location, with a very nice property manager on site. This is our second visit, we would likely return to stay again. Thanks Lorenzo for the hospitality!!

Great stay! Two blocks from downtown, walkable. We rented bikes from a neighbor. Pool was perfect. Safe neighborhood. We're already planning another stay👍🏽

The house is large and all rooms are spacious. The gated community is very secure and feels safe. The Bejuco beach area also is quiet and safe. One of the nicest beaches we have we have enjoyed! And only a 400 meter walk from the house. The backyard pool is the perfect way to cool down after some time on the beach.

The house is very charming and original and the view magnificent. We did a lot of home cooking and the house is functional and well equipped. The outdoor areas are very private, perfect for relaxation, dining and just enjoying the view and surroundings including lots of birds and iguanas. The outdoor lighting is very well arranged and creates a wonderful atmosphere at night. The property is very well maintained, the pool cleaned daily and the owner, John, and the caretaker, Rafael, are very responsive and helpful. It is a wonderful place and we ended up spending more time “at home” than we had expected.
