I rented David's house for a few days with my family, and it was more beautiful than the pictures! Perfect location on the lake close to downtown Panajachel, and a short drive to Santa Catarina Polopo. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The views of the lake from every room in the house were stunning, and the patio outside was surrounded by trees and flowers with an uninterrupted view of the volcanoes across the lake. If you are traveling to Lake Atitlan, you should definitely stay here. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Guatemala!

Staying at Marie Dom’s idealic place was amazing. The domes are very nice, and the place is quiet, but not too far from the San Juan center. We were a bit sick after climbing the Acatenango, and this place was really the best place to rest and recover. Thank you Marie Dom!

La casa de Chiky, la habitación, baño y cocina estaban limpios y ordenados. Todos los espacios bien equipados. La casa está localizada en un condominio alejado del centro y silencioso, lo cual permite un buen descanso. Por la misma razón, hay que caminar entre unos 20-30 min o tomar transporte para llegar al centro. Nosotros preferimos silencio antes que cercanía. El desayuno increible! El mejor que comimos en Guatemala. Chiky siempre contestó rápido, nos entregó sugerencias y información para llegar a Chichicastenango y nos ayudó con el transporte a Guatemala (muy agradecidos!) En resumen, muy agradable compañia, descansado y desayuno excepcional.

Nos hospedamos por unos días con mi bebé y mi novio. La pasamos muy bien y cómodos. Diana fue muy amable y nos dejó un pastel para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi novio, fue un lindo detalle que hace la diferencia. El lugar fue súper cómodo, frío y tranquilo. Justo lo que buscábamos para pasar con nuestro bebé Gracias Diana por tan linda estadía y de seguro que volvemos 💕

I was lucky enough to stay at this simple, but beautiful place, for a very good price! The room looks exactly like in the photos - small, with 2 beds and a long chair, ideal for 1 person ( maybe for 2 a bit small) . Has a lot of light from big windows and great view. The shower is outside, you need to pass a few more rooms before it. Has hot water - but in the evening still super cold to take a shower )) The location is ideal - right on the lake, with a personal pier and an amazing view from the common/dining area. Only 5 min walk from the main pier and main street. The family who running the place is super sweet and welcoming. Wi-fi worked very well, the place is super quite at night You can use open kitchen with a fridge, drinkable water,and every morning they serve great breakfast ( each morning was different ) For me was no problem to come to hotel through dusty road - you also can come by boat right to their pier it's cold during the night - get some clothes and enjoy!

Amazing place in Tecpan. It was the perfect place to stay the weekend with friends and enjoy nature. The property is beautiful and with lots of walking/hiking trails. Staff is amazing and super attentive. 100% would recommend it.

It’s a good place. It’s very center little bit noisy because of the church in front other than that everything was great. I will stay there again.

Phyllis is a wonderful host. She and Blaine have an absolutely gorgeous property; the pictures don't do it justice. We actually booked a different part of the property now and plan to stay much longer if we can! We love it here. It's a perfect distance from town so it's quiet and secluded, but still close enough so that walking is great. Would highly recommend this place. The wifi is great. Lovely cozy space. Stunning Views. We had an absolutely amazing stay here! They we so proactive, responsive and kind! The place is beautiful and it was the perfect place to relax. It is close to San Marcos, you can take a tuk tuk or walk. This unit seemed to be the most private which we loved. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Perfect place for exactly what I needed! Comfy bed and great wifi! The hosts are also incredibly lovely people. So great to talk to. And they cooked an amazing breakfast with coffee in the morning! They were also very helpful with everything I needed during my stay. I highly recommend this place :)

this stay in Totonicapán was truly something unique and life changing. Carlos and his whole family are pillars of their community who strongly advocate for the preservation of the local K'iche cultural and linguistic heritage, artistry, and traditional agrarian lifestyle. While I was with the Chaclan family, I felt so honored to bear witness to the traditions of their community, and their eager willingness to introduce me to their way of life was something unlike I had ever experienced beforehand. after this visit, I plan to come back to Totonicapán periodically to further study the area. I encourage any visitor to the Guatemalan highlands curious about the local traditions to book a stay with this family, as they will ensure you are taken care of as a member of their own household, and provide you with information about anything on the area that piques your curiosity.

Loved the view from the room it felt like heaven Kayaking on the lake at sunrise was amazing Edgar was so helpful all the time We also booked the massage on the day we arrived and the lady was really good Loved the place you can take a tuktuk very easily right in front of the airbnb to go to san marcos Easy to get around we were 2 girls and felt completely safe!

Amazing place! The host and grounds people made us feel right at home. The views were unbeatable. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
