We stayed at the place for 4 days, as a group of 4 adults. Still, the house is spacious enough to cater for more people. We loved to explore the Caribbean side of Costa Rica by day and unwind by the private pool in the evening. Amazing location for nature lovers, with dozens of bird species nesting and stopping on the trees surrounding the place. I would recommend a sturdier car to get there from the main road but if the weather is not too crazy a regular car and slow driving will suffice. We loved the place!

Amazingly luxurious house just across the road from the beach. Everything you needed and more. Upstairs you could sit on the balcony and listen to the sound of the waves whilst sipping a cold drink.Downstairs was a lovely master bedroom with both in and outside showers. We loved it and with Yoshua to meet and greet us as a perfect host we had a wonderful stay.

We loved our stay at Casita Amor. Location was great, it was peaceful and quiet. The host was very responsive and checked in with us when necessary. The AC was refreshing to rest and relax between activities. There is a book with recommended places to visit and restaurants. We found a great restaurant en route to Puerto Viejo called Cholas Place, we went 3x in 3 days! Very good Caribbean food and only 15 mins from Casita Amor. We would stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Our whole experience with Villa Ginger was perfect. Michele and Gilles communicated the exact location of the house so there was no issues finding it despite its set back location. Once you arrive here, you don’t want to leave! It is a few minutes drive from Cahuita but there is also a great restaurant (Sandra’s) just round the corner where you could walk if needed. The villa is spacious and well-equipped. Everything is clean and well maintained, including the pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. The gardens are tranquil and it is amazing to hear the howler monkeys while sat enjoying the space. There are also SO MANY different birds visiting the garden all day long. Gilles was so accommodating to us and helped us to find a medical clinic to care for our baby who got sick.

First off- thank you Yordi for everything! Yordi was an amazing local host who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The service and care really made this already wonderful place outstanding. This place is amazing. Completely private and fenced in, private pool and great location. The place is beautifully and simply decorated, clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is just as beautiful and spacious as the indoor space. Walking to town and the national park took less than 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the living space is even more open and beautiful than in the photos. If you’re in the area and have the chance to book- snatch this up! You won’t regret it. Thanks again, Yordi!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. La localisation est juste parfaite ! À 4 minutes à pied de la plage. Tous les restos sont à proximité. L’endroit est super ! Ambiance caraïbes et immersion dans la nature. Le matin, nous entendions les singes hurleurs et l’ensemble de la faune environnante. L’hôte est très réactif et sympa. Je recommande ce logement et la région.

Antonio's place is absolutely great! We have particularly enjoyed the garden with the endless show of local fauna- monkeys, birds, agouti, squirrels...The communication with Antonio and Paulette was great and the issue we had with the fridge was quickly solved. I would surely recommend this place.

The house was surrounded by a great garden in a nice neighborhood only 5 minutes walk from the beach and 15 minutes walk from a supermarket and a few restaurants or a 5 minute drive from town where there were plenty of things to do and lots of places to eat. The house was beautifully finished with local wood and had a very nice outdoor area with comfy chairs, a sofa, and a dining table. Each of the two bedrooms had large ensuite bathrooms. The kitchen was simple but adequate. The garden was very private with a solid fence and lockable gate. It was great for birding, about 50 species can be observed from the porch! Gilberto was friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. We could consider renting again if we ever return to the area. We all had a great time!
