Incredible space ! The views were stunning and the stars at night were unbelievable! Upstairs balcony area was so fun sit play games! Far from San Jose airport but truly worth the drive !

The studio by the sea is wonderful, serene and beautiful. It's steps from the beach, surrounded by lush nature and very comfortable. The space has all the amenities needed to enjoy your stay, well appointed kitchen, bath, linens, beach towel. It's clean and tranquil. Heike and Hans are super friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area & Costa Rica in general. They were so kind to accomdate our dogs, give them treats, water and lots of love. When we return to Coyote, we will definitley visit with them again.

Mitten in der Natur (dem Wald und seiner Tierwelt), und doch in 15 Min. über eine Treppe (ca. 100 Höhenmeter) zum weiten Traumstrand. Ein grandioser Blick über den Wald zum Meer. Natürliches, wohlschmeckendes Wasser aus eigener Quelle, nicht chloriert! Starkes Wlan (Starlink-gespeist), abschaltbar für Strahlen-Sensible. „Profi“-Sortiment an Edelstahltöpfen/-pfannen und -messern. Absolute Stille - bis auf die wunderbaren Geräusche der Tierwelt. In der Nacht ein berauschender Sternenhimmel, grandiose Sonnenaufgänge. Bei Bedarf verleiht Joachim ein Quad / ATV, mit dem wir unsere Einkäufe tätigen und das Umfeld ausgiebig erkunden konnten. Geheimtip für Bio-Fans: Die Green World in Santa Teresa. Tip für den absoluten Flow: Mit dem Quad bei Ebbe über den Strand von Manzanillo „gleiten“. Die Betreuung: sehr kurze Antwortzeiten, schnelle, wirksame Hilfe, absolute Privatsphäre. Danke Joachim für diese Erfahrung!

This place was by far the shining star of all of our stays. We ended up staying here for 3 nights. If you are looking to just unwind and reset this place will kick start the pura vida in you. The place was spotless and welcoming. The host gave us local recommendations and they had been spot on perfect. Fishing and strolling the beach at this place was by far our favorite daily activity. I would recommend that if you come to stay that you stop at a grocery store first and stock up on supplies so you don’t have to leave. The nearest decent grocery store is about a 20-30 min drive. Overall I cannot wait to come back and enjoy this place again. I will be dreaming about it for months to come!

Joseph’s property is a serene, peaceful retreat surrounded by lush greenery and just a five-minute walk to the ocean. The tranquil setting and nature’s beauty made it the perfect escape for New Year's Eve. One highlight was meeting Macho, the friendly “guardian” dog, who quickly became a cherished part of our stay. Joseph’s hospitality was exceptional—he was kind, responsive, and even made us delicious homemade pizza one evening. We had a small misunderstanding about bringing two dogs instead of one, but Joseph was incredibly understanding and welcomed both with open arms. The property itself was well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with inviting outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature. Our only minor issue was a missed cleaning service, but Joseph apologized and offered to reschedule, though it was too close to our departure to be worthwhile. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d love to return!

EXCELENTE LUGAR MUY BONITO PRIVADO TRANQUILO CERCA DE LA PLAYA Y CON VOLVERÍA E IGUALMENTE LO REC9MEDARIA

We were a group of 10 traveling from Canada in our first trip to Costa Rica with 4 children and 6 adults. Ramona’s house was the perfect house for us! It was spotless, very comfortable with absolutely everything we needed. The Los Delfines community felt extremely safe. Our kids could wander without a worry. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and bobbing in the waves. Ramona acted as a concierge from the time we booked, making amazing suggestions for activities, restaurants, transportation etc. She even arranged for a neighbor to loan us some pickle ball paddles. We were very close to lots of great excursions and I would suggest renting a car so that you can enjoy all that this remote area has to offer. We can’t wait to visit Costa Rica again and would absolutely return to Ramona’s house!! Don’t hesitate to book, this home has every comfort!!! Pura Vida!

Sabine and Nico were very kind and cordial hosts, answering any questions and responding to any needs asap. The pool was a very nice addition after coming in from the beach just across the street. Outside grill by pool was a nice touch. Directions using Wave or Google Maps was easy enough to find. The area is very quiet, calm and not at all touristy which is what we were after! Would recommend and stay again.

The house was beautiful. My family had a GREAT time. Would seriously recommend staying here. Loved the pool and all the space. Joel and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful and we all felt very secure there. We rented on short notice and we glad we picked this house. Thank you!

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

The host, Edgar, was amazing, providing excellent communication no matter the time. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. The private beach was exclusive and breathtaking, with the most gorgeous sunsets. The oceanfront location and spectacular pool made for an unforgettable experience. Rick and Karen's place was the perfect home for the two of us and and our two daughters. The layout is ideal, with two floors separating the living and sleeping spaces. The home is warm, clean, and tastefully furnished and decorated. We loved how safe and comfortable we felt within the secured community. It has a friendly, neighbourhood feel. The beach was clean and huge. The beautiful parrots, monkeys and deer made our experience all the more magical. We would love to return again!

We stayed here with our family of six and a baby. My daughter and her husband had the privacy and great comfort in the cabin on the other side of the pool which made the trip for them. (And us lol ;) ). The beds and space was so efficient and the wash down outside and outside shower was awesome after the beach each day. Pool was spotless, perfect amount of pool and shower towels that were a good size and actually work. Could have a better frying pan for eggs and one sharp quality knife but if that was all that was wrong can you imagine? Lol! The proximity to the beach was a huge win, we paddle boarded out to the humpback whales and dolphins and seen lots of wildlife as well. Fishing was great right off shore and worth taking our stuff with. Big win on the property for the value!

What can I say? This place was SO VERY SPECIAL! Like other reviewers, I would like to buy it! The location was fantastic with sounds of the ocean crashing while surrounded in jungle and beautiful vegetation and a view of the ocean! The rooms were immaculate, and had everything we needed. The outdoor kitchen and living area is awesome and feels very Costa Rica! We also enjoyed the pool and played pickle ball after watching a How To Video on Youtube on the TV in the living area. Quintin was very accommodating as we made a last minute reservation. We actually ended up meeting him and he gave us great advice as to where to have dinner and things to do. What a special few days we spent in Tambor! This is a spot to plan a getaway around!

AMAZING! This place is beyond beautiful. The property is truly one of a kind. The level of service we received was absolutely above expectations. Felicitas greeted us when we arrived at the property, created a group chat, was always available for questions, and made sure we were accommodated in every way. There was a cleaning lady and maintenance man who kindly greeted us every morning. Felicitas facilitated all of our activities and excursions. Santa Teresa is a cute little town full of restaurants and bars to enjoy your time at. We shared the property with a family of monkeys, a raccoon, and some iguanas. Overall, our week was amazing and we can't wait to book again!

The house is well stocked, and beautifully decorated . The location within punta Leona is also great. My only observation which is the pool is set between the room and the kitchen. Which is a beautiful setup , but with young children you have to keep a watchful eye at all times.

April’s place is amazing!! The ocean and sunset views from her place are simply spectacular! Falling asleep to the sound of the distant waves was such a treat. The place was very clean and well stocked with anything you could ever possibly need. The private infinity pool with stunning ocean views and comfortable day beds was heaven on earth! It felt like an oasis. It was also a nice surprise to have the fridge stocked with fresh fruit! April was always very helpful and made us feel welcome. We were sad to leave and look forward to visiting again! Thank you April! 🙏🙏

Absolutely loved Nidal 's place! very friendly, easy to reach hosts. The place was beautiful, spacious and lovely surroundings! Highly recommend this place! Home away from home. Will book again when visiting Tambor!
