fantastic house in a great little village. The view from property is amazing, especially from the upstairs bedrooms. The house had basically everything we needed and a few taverns within walking distance offering great food as well. we had an amazing week exploring the area and enjoying the sunshine.

Vor allem Ourania - Dafnis mutter und Malfada (Dafnis Hund unter der Obhut von Ourania) haben uns wirklich zu Hause fühlen lassen. Sie zeigte uns was kretische Gastfreundschaft ist inklusive lokalem Essen. Am Abend nach hause zu kommen und manchmal unter tags da zu bleiben war immer eine Freude - sowohl unter dem wunderbaren Maulberbaum im Innenhof als auch im schönen Haus. Ausflugsziele gab es genug - schöne Strände und gutes Essen auch. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Unser Urlaub mit unseren drei Kindern ( fünf Jahre und drei Jahre) war perfekt! Das Haus ist wunderschön der Außenbereich riesig der Pool einfach nur traumhaft und vor allem der Ausblick ist unbeschreiblich schön. Es gab jeden Tag etwas Neues zu entdecken, in der Umgebung, alles super mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir bekamen regelmäßig die Wäsche gewechselt und für die Kinder sogar kleine Geschenke gebracht. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub für uns Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Zeit bei euch!!

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

Hallo, die Unterkunft war sehr schön und wie beschrieben. Die Küche modern ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht, es gibt einen riesigen Kühlschrank. Die Lage der Villa ist auf dem Berg, man hat einen schönen Ausblick in die Bucht und auf die Berge, dennoch ist man zu Fuß auch schnell im Ort. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief reibungslos, sie sind immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Es gab ein Problem mit dem Wasser im Haus, bei dem uns sofort geholfen wurde. Den Privatstrand haben wir auch mehrfach besucht, der Strand ist steinig, aber dennoch sehr schön, man hat dort seine Ruhe und es gibt schöne Wellen. Alles in allem hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit auf der Insel und haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wer etwas in der Nähe von Chania sucht, ist hier genau richtig :)

We had a wonderful week at Lina’s villa. It really is a beautiful place with a fantastic view. Close to some fabulous beaches and countryside. Lina was super helpful and friendly and really responsive. The pool was gorgeous. Bedrooms really comfortable. It is about 3km from the village and the road does turn and wind but we got used to it pretty fast and it is not so narrow and mostly lit at night. It is semi detached and the other villa had visitors but they were pretty quiet and we did not feel disturbed. Very glad we chose it

Mogę się zgodzić z każdą wcześniejszą recenzją. Bardzo wygodny dom w spokojnej okolicy z pięknym widokiem na zatokę. Bardzo czysto, świetny basen. Wszystko zgodnie z opisem. Dobre wskazówki dojazdu i zameldowania. Mieliśmy idealny pobyt. Szczerze polecam!

Wonderful House in beautiful surroundings, big garden, great pool, great views. We really felt at home, every kitchen tool an all necessities were there, shelves full of books in english, german an norwegian language. Eivind is a very nice host who answered promptly to all questions and provided valuable recommendations for nearby restaurants and beaches. We had a wonderful time on Crete!

The accommodation looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean, and provided many amenities such as a hairdryer, spices, laundry detergent, and spreads like butter and honey. The quiet location just outside the city, a 10-minute drive away and easily accessible by bus, is definitely a plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben die Wohnung 16 Tage im November gebucht, Küche genutzt und sind viel in Chania gewesen. An den regnerischen oder kühlen Tagen war es schön, im Wohnzimmer zu sein, die Aussicht zu genießen und zu entspannen. Die Nähe zu den kleinen aber schönen Stränden haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Claudia et Marco. L'appartement était spacieux et parfaitement équipé, terrasse bien privative, environnement très calme et magnifique (nous étions entourés d'oliviers), superbes couchers de soleil, et la piscine était incroyable. Claudia et Marco étaient disponibles pour toute question et très gentils. Nous recommandons !!! :)

L’appartement était bien équipé et il était situé dans un petit village tranquille. Lors de notre arrivée, il y avait déjà des produits de base dans le réfrigérateur, ce qui était très apprécié. L’appartement était très propre et très bien équipé pour un court ou un long séjour. La piscine était très propre et nous avions quatre chaises réservées pour notre logement. Les plages de sable et de galets se trouvent à une distance raisonnable de l’appartement; il y en a plusieurs à visiter en Crète.

To były wyjątkowe wakacje. Pavlos to znakomity człowiek bardzo pomocny pod wieloma względami. Mieszkanie przerosło nasze oczekiwania. Nieskazitelna czystość domu , basenu i ogrodu. Powierzchnia apartamentu robi wrażenie oraz wyposażenie mieszkania. Można wiele powiedzieć w samych superlatywach. Nasze córki były zachwycone i my również. Na pewno tam wrócimy. Idealne miejsce żeby zwiedzić zachodnią część wyspy. Spokój i cisza. Dużym atutem jest prywatny parking. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni. Kochamy to miejsce. Dziękujemy Pavlos to były niezapomniane wakacje !!!!

The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.

Absolutely amazing host and villa. Kosta and his office were brilliant and when we got to the villa we were met by Stella. She could not have done more to make our stay any better; communication was seamless, so many local suggestions, local produce left throughout the stay, the loan of a stoneware pot to use in the pizza oven over tonight to slow cook vegetables, honestly everything and more. The villa is exactly like the photos - stunning. Breath taking location with a view we all miss now we are home. The layout of the villa is excellent; it is beautifully decorated, the outside kitchen area is perfect and much used. The landscaping is wonderful, and the pool is gorgeous. The villa was meticulously cleaned throughout our stay and the pool and garden maintained to the highest standard. We had the most wonderful holiday; thank you so much Stella and your team for everything.

We recommend Villa Elena with our highest endorsement. Sifis is a compassionate host with resourceful info & recs, def reach out to him if you have any Qs; he’s very responsive. Thoughtful/Delicious homemade meal ready on arrival. Kitchen stocked with basic food including many oranges for fresh squeezed OJ everyday & the best olive oil on Earth. Private/Tranquil location with amazing views yet close to beaches, market & bakery. Short walk to point for breathtaking sunset. Visited during low season so pool not used & did not think in advance to pay extra to heat hot tub but indoor fireplace used daily. Inexperienced drivers may have difficulty navigating to home. Rec 4x4 rental car with navigation system but did ok in Fiat Panda with propped up phone on dashboard. Sifis & family are amazing hosts, high quality humans & new friends. Hope to return someday for at least 2 weeks to see more of Crete. Would def stay here again if available. Thank you!

Great week spent just relaxing and had everything we needed. Pool was a great relief to the heat and visiting the local supermarket meant we cooked several times int he bbq and had breakfast looking over the views. Communication was great through out with some good recommendations. Loved that we had a mid week set of new towels / sheets and rubbish removed. It was just what we wanted - relaxed in a lovely location close to amenities . Thank you x

The property is beautiful and location just perfect just a 15mins bus ride to the harbor which is full of nice restaurants and shops etc. The property is a short walk to the beautiful beaches with a few beach bars with nice food and drink and restaurant not far away with very nice food. Great villa with everything you need. It is fairly close to Chania center, about 15/20 minutes by car. The villa was very clean and they even offered us to clean the villa and change towels and bed sheets during our stay. Effie was very welcoming, with some gifts and local products when we arrive and when we left. They were very reactive, and provided with what we needed. For example, they came to give us a baby bed and chair as we did not indicate we were coming with one. The garden is spacious, with some great area to have an aperitif or lunch/dinner: there is a big table in the shadow which is a plus. We strongly recommend and would come back with pleasure.

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. Enjoyed a beautiful week at Kedros. Perfect location - walking distance to a few stunning beaches, delicious restaurants just down the road, and 5 mins walk from supermarkets. Easy to get the bus to and from Chania old town. Perfect size and set up for 6 girls - would also be great for 3 couples. Loved the pool - it’s bigger than it looks in pics! And the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing in the sun. Mathios was very responsive and friendly whenever we had questions, and gave us recommendations for food, taxi company etc. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Wir haben als Familie zu viert in dem Haus Urlaub gemacht. Wir waren total verliebt in das Haus. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und sehr schön für einen entspannten Urlaub. Das Haus liegt auf dem Berg und ein Auto ist in jedem Fall notwendig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Die Kommunikation war schnell und einfach.
