We had a lovely stay at Trudi’s place over Christmas. We had everything we needed. Great to have the beach across the road with lots of amenities close by. Would love to stay again

Exactly what we needed to detox from the world and devices for a night away with a little one. Took us back to a simpler time, was entertaining teaching a 5 year old how to use a CD player and having him try to convince us the fireplace was actually a secret TV. Loved our walk down to the river and an evening watching the stars and full moon rising seeing "a trillion satellites". Even though our hosts were right next door we felt entirely left to our own devices and it was magic to have the dishes all done for us.

Great place to stay with all you need, access to the beach right next door and easy walk to cafes and town centre.

The studio is a perfectly formed place for peace, relaxation in a lo-fi setting, with great views to the hills. I enjoyed the solitude, and made immense headway across some key pieces of work. This is a great getaway for locals and travellers. Will definitely return.

We stayed at Jo's place for 6 nights. The suite was perfect for our needs, everything we needed including fresh salad crops from the garden.Lots of local amenities and things to do including a very very good bakery and only a short bus ride to the city where there is so much to do and see. Definitely recommend Jo's place and we will return on our next NZ trip.

Vicki was super generous and allowed us a late check out for free. Beautiful home and wish we stayed another night to use the pool as it was such a beautiful day the next day! 10/10 recommend :)

Radhini made this whole experience very easy and made us feel at ease. She was very responsive and helpful as well always checking in to see if we were comfortable and for that I highly recommend having her as a host

Peaceful, friendly, relaxing and positive experience! Wendy and her husband were lovely host’s. They baked me fresh bread, butter and jam on arrival. During my stay they brought me out some sweet treats, Wendy had baked for her family. They washed my clothes for me (as I was staying for a week). The accommodation, was very private, safe, peaceful and relaxing - those are the 4 words how I would describe this accommodation. Also very clean and tidy. Well presented, everything you need! The price is amazing for what you’re getting! It’s like a little spa retreat experience!!! 100% would stay again!

Da wir Naturliebhaber sind, war die Unterkunft ein Paradies für uns. Es war super ruhig und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.

A cosy and comfortable stay that we really enjoyed. A lovely modern bathroom with a bath was an added bonus. The home made food for breakfast and snacks really added to our stay. We were very close to the Botanic Gardens and could easily taje the interesting walk to the city and shops nearby. We met Michael during our stay and had a lovely chat. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Agnieszka's place with our dog while traveling to the South Island. The accommodation matched the description—a cozy, affordable, and peaceful spot in South Karori. I’d love to visit again!

Our stay at Anindita's property was fabulous. Anindita and her partner Neil were wonderful hosts. The property was clean, fully equipped and we had the most restful sleeps. The location was wonderful with public transport into the CBD of Wellington literally outside the front door. There were takeaways, supermarkets and other stores within walking distance. We had our gorgeous (well behaved dog with us) and he had a wonderful time. There was a fabulous doggy park literally a four minute walk from the property - perfect.

This was such a lovely stay in Wellington! Easy to find and well located, the space was beautiful, spacious and clean. It was easy to get in and a short walk from a very lovely restaurant. The bed was extra comfy and everything was nice and peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend!

It was nice to have Janet & Ian meet us on arrival. The unit is a cosy self contained and private section in the downstairs area of their home. Very comfortable bed. Having off-street parking is a bonus.

Had a great stay with Ellie, it was just as described. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable as well! Would recommend.

Ling has a lovely property that met our needs perfectly. As I needed to extend the time in Wellington, Ling was excellent in responding to our request. Very easy. Bed was super comfortable.

We absolutely enjoyed our short overnight stay before heading to the south island. The location was perfect, a short distance from the ferry as well as all the in town eateries and shopping! Grant and Delphina were easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond expectations of what it means to be a great host. Highly recommend staying here!
