Booked a last minute getaway with a large group of friends. The home was clean and spacious. Nestled perfectly in natures surrounding, every angle of the wraparound porch provided a picturesque backdrop. We had a great stay and would recommend this home. The bedroom/bathroom count provided for great privacy for our large party. We didn’t get a chance to get in the hot tub, but man we wanted to. As mentioned in other reviews, the altitude sickness was real. Every member of our party experienced different symptoms at one point or another. As regular travelers to the mountains, this was odd for the bulk of us. The heater in the home was on and working but struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. All of the bedrooms were fairly cold at night. Maybe ask for additional blankets if you’re visiting during the frigid months.

Mark & Nancy were on top of everything before we got to the cabin. From vehicle recommendations to all of the info we needed to get in. The airbnb was stocked with everything we needed along with fun card and board games to keep everyone entertained. One couple on the trip even got engaged at the top of the hill right by the airbnb with the beautiful mountains in the background! 10/10 would recommend.

We loved our stay! This home really met our expectations of a winter wonderland. We visited in February. The views were gorgeous and there was plenty of snow on the ground. The place was very well stocked and had more than we needed. The elevation really was not bad for most of our group, just be prepared. If you are susceptible to altitude sickness purchase an oxygen canister, they sell at grocery stores about $20 will last one person a few days at least. The drive wasn’t bad either but definitely AWD during winter is a must. FairPlay is a nice small town with several bars and restaurants about 20 min from the home. Breckenridge is also not very far, about 40 minutes for skiing and lots more. Overall great experience!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Mountain Escape Anna’s home was everything we hoped for! It was immaculate, cozy, and stocked with everything—from a fully equipped kitchen to high-quality soaps and shampoos. The garage was a huge plus for keeping our car out of the snow. The sunrises from the patio were breathtaking, and the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to end the day. The location is peaceful yet close enough to Fairplay and Breckenridge for day trips. Anna is an exceptional host, providing a great guidebook with local recommendations and being super responsive. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-stocked, and relaxing getaway, this is it! We can’t wait to return.

We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door! The house is immaculate, beautifully decorated and so cozy. The amenities were above and beyond what we expected, from the fully stocked kitchen to bathrobes and scented shower sprays. You can tell that a lot of thought and care has been put into this rental! The host was so kind and helpful, always responding very quickly. We could not have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be renting here again!

Beautiful secluded cabin for our annual ski trip. Ashley was proactive with check in and had great local recommendations. It snowed almost everyday we were there and we even had some people come and shovel the deck/walkways for us! Added bonus that went a long way. We are from Florida so shoveling snow it not our strong suit. Will stay with Ashley again!

Such an amazing weekend away! The view from the cabin was incredible. Highlight for sure was looking at the stars while in the hot tub or using the wood burning fireplace inside. Such a beautiful fireplace! We hope to be back!

This is a cute place as described. Quiet and quaint and allowed our doggie to participate. Great stay

We had to book this last minute due to our other Cabin having a water pipe burst. We feel like we lucked out, especially with the hot tub. We had attempted a few days of snowboarding and the hot tub was great for the soreness. The cabin is so cute and in a beautiful location, we will definitely stay there again!

My family and I had a great stay! We felt right at home here. The proximity to downtown Breckenridge can’t be beat. Just far enough away to feel at peace in the mountains, but only a 10 minute drive to Ski Town USA. Like other reviews said, you don’t feel the highway at all. There is plenty of space, and Jesse is on top of it for anything you might need. The main living area is great, and we loved the wood-burning fireplace with plenty of wood on hand. We also were so happy that our dogs could join us. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to ski Breck!

A lovely spot here, especially if you're bringing a pup along! The home was warm and welcoming, the fenced yard was wildly convenient for the dog, and the location was beautiful up in the foothills. Highly recommend!

Best host ever!! Cabin is amazing. Scott and Chris truly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Honestly there was nothing they didn't think of. Hands down the best airbnb we've ever stayed at. Scott gave us a warm welcoming upon arrival and greeted us with personalized touches at the cabin. Just when you realize you may have forgotten something.... they already thought of it and provided. Comfy beds, plenty of towels, blankets, bathroom essentials, everything you need for cooking, dog beds, stunning views, privacy, warm and cozy! Their home has so many wonderful details and it actually tells a really neat story. I won't leave all the details in my review, but it's definitely worth booking again! Looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Scott and Chris for such great hospitality and kindness!!

This cabin is the perfect getaway! The views are gorgeous and it’s located in a peaceful area. I enjoyed how the cabin itself was roomy and yet very cozy. The hot tub was such a bonus too! The hosts communicated very well and their instructions were clear. Highly recommend this as your next mountain stay!

Just like it states in the description, it is a very nice and relaxing place to go back to after a long day of events in the surrounding towns! It was my first time in Colorado and I would definitely recommend this stay to anybody.

The cabin was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. We happen to come during a snowstorm weekend which was great for the skiing, not so much for the highways. Still the owner had the driveway plowed each morning for us. We did not have an issue in a rented AWD Jeep Latitude. My daughter enjoyed the arrangements of records, and we had a great time playing games and watching movies in the loft area. Would definitely recommend this cabin!

ME & MY WIFE ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE AT THE BEAR CAVE. HONESTLY WE CAN SAY THIS IS THE BEST AIR B N B WE’VE EVER STAYED IN. THE HOUSE WAS FILLED WITH ALL OF OUR NEEDS. VERY CLEAN VERY WELL PUT TOGETHER. IT FELT LIKE HOME! MEGAN AND HER HUSBAND WENT THE EXTRA MILE FOR US TO MAKE SURE WE ENJOYED OUR GETAWAY. I WOULD GIVE THIS 10 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION!!!!

This was a great place to recharge - it's very remote and quiet and it's surrounded by wildlife and beautiful mountains. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was amazing!♥️ It was a short drive from our homes in Denver, but you get the full mountain experience. Leo’s cabin is nothing short of beautiful. It is decorated with care, and it is stocked with everything you need! Also the BEDS! They were so comfy. The sauna is one of the best parts, and it really does help release so match tension and anxiety from the body. We loved it so much that we hope to return soon for a full weekend!
