This house is amazing. There is so much history to learn. Our motorcycle group came up to Meadows of Dan to ride the BRP and see the foliage. zit rained most of our stay but we still had an amazing time at the house. The groundskeeper Ann was super sweet and helpful. I definitely recommend

Great house, very quaint, love the mid century feel. House was stocked very well, realized we forgot toothpaste and found some in the bathroom cabinet. Hosts were kind enough to leave a chilled bottle of wine for us upon arrival.

The owners were very responsive and accommodating. The place was clean and nice. Great outdoor area and convenient store within reach. The instructions and amenities were as described and very check in and out process. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely perfect stay at Amy's beautiful home nestled in the mountains of Virginia. If you're looking for a place that is peaceful, serene, and CLEAN then this is the place for you. HUGE thank you to Amy, what an amazing host. Your attention to detail, clean linens, comfortable beds, and overall effort put into this property did not go unnoticed. And one more thanks for accommodating our late check out as well, we made memories here that will last a lifetime and we will certainly be back again! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

The home was wonderful. The view is fabulous and the amenities were all that we needed. The kitchen was well appointed and there were great books and lots of games to keep us busy. We will definitely keep this home in mind for future trips.

10/10! A beautiful, spacious country cottage surrounded by plenty of nature. Loved the set up of the house. Clean with clear signs of fine craftmanship and intention, making a cozy home feel. Spent lots of time exploring the area with my pup, hiking and visiting local shops. Would definitely recommend for those looking to get some quiet time and solitude amidst the Blue Ridge Mountains. Peaceful and relaxing, close to downtown Meadows of Dan and not far from Mount Airy, great place for a quiet relaxing break

What a wonderful place. We had a filmmaking group of 10 stay here. What a large, spacious and beautiful home. Exactly as described and exactly what we needed. Beautiful surroundings makes it even better. And Christine, our host was wonderful.

This was such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. Kathryn was very responsive and helpful with directions and suggestions of things to do in the area. The place was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time visiting Floyd and the surrounding area.

Taylor and Hunter were wonderful hosts that keep a clean, thoughtful, well presented cottage out in the Virginia country side. They were very responsive, kind and such hospitable hosts. We will certainly be staying with them again in the future!

The apartment is very comfortable and cozy feeling. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The kitchen and bathroom were both well stocked with anything we might need. Very nice outdoor sitting and eating area as well. We had such a relaxing time!

We arrived at the mill having driven out from Asheville the weekend of the hurricane. Adam & Marcie could not have been more helpful and sympathetic. We only wished we had booked to stay for longer as we needed time to decompress after our experience, however it really was the right place to be. Thank you very much

It's always a pleasure to stay at Miss Susan and Mr. Tom's charming bed and breakfast. It is beyond comfortable and inviting. The breakfast muffins were just wonderful 😊

What a relaxing, worry free stay! The room was comfortable, the water was very hot and there is ample space for 2-4 people. The EcoLodge also has super comfortable beds and pillows. Waking up to see the fog on the pond was wonderful to see. We really enjoyed the farm store on-property as well. Wish we were there for longer!

We had a lovely stay - the apartment is spacious and has everything you could need and the view out of the patio is gorgeous. Pam and Joe were so friendly and our toddler loved getting to meet their sweet dog. It was a peaceful place to retreat to while visiting VT for a football game.

Beautiful location with simply appointed and super clean rooms. The common area is great for relaxing with family or friends and had very comfortable seating and enjoyable views. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but hope to return and do that next time.

Bessie was a wonderful host and the house was a great mountaintop cabin feel! The hot tub was a nice touch, the ping pong table was fun, and we love the big sun room! Can’t express how appreciative we are of the hospitality of this place!

This was the cleanest Airbnb I have EVER stayed in! Every detail was thoughtfully curated, from the cozy decor to the well-stocked kitchen. The home felt private and peaceful, with a stunning view that made for the most calming stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens were such high quality—it truly felt like a luxury retreat. I also appreciated having everything I needed, from cleaning supplies to all the cooking essentials. The fireplace inside and fire pit outside added such a cozy touch, perfect for relaxing. The host was kind, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to make the stay special. I especially loved the binder with local recommendations—it’s clear how much effort was put into making this home welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again!

Just as described. Cabin was very private. It was spacious and though not updated with modern appliances and decor, (it is as pictured) that is part of the charm. This is a true vintage cabin that gives you a place to relax and enjoy nature. Our host was very kind and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again.

This cabin was a perfect setting for a personal setting. It was well-apportioned inside with many amenities outside. My favorite thing was watching the sunrise each morning lighting up the valley overlook. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nearby, along with Meadows of Dan and Floyd if you need a coffee break or unique shops. Marissa is a wonderful host, and I highly recommend!

it was more than what we expected! it was clean, remote, serene. our pups enjoyed the fenced in property! we want to come again and bring our kids! the stars were out of this universe. my husband LOVED the wood burning stove!

We had a beautiful stay at this cabin! We traveled from Kansas for our daughter’s engagement party. This cabin easily accommodated us, was clean, and had the most beautiful views. Will for sure be returning!

The cabin and host left a great impression and comfort. The stream in the back was so peaceful in the swing they provided. The beds are comfortable and clean. The house smelled clean when we walked in, and every part of it was clean. They even offered spices, coffee, oil, and various essentials. It was hard for us to leave to get back to normal. It was so peaceful, and we would definitely like to stay there again when visiting family in Floyd and Cana.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spotlessly clean and just like the pictures. We loved being able to hike right from the front door, and the backyard was private and serene. The perfect location for a lot of different outdoor adventures- just what we were looking for! If you have time, downtown Floyd is a fun place to walk around with lots of fun shops and restaurants.
