The house and amenities were exactly as described. The house is charming, but I especially fell in love with the outside area. The hot tub what’s my favorite place to be. I love that it isn’t far from the main street so I was able to walk to get breakfast and enjoy my morning run without much traffic. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend.

Had a girls weekend here and it was perfect for our stay! Plenty of room, cute decor, and so many fun amenities! We loved how close it was to Main Street. The hosts were great at responding quickly with any questions. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay. Very peaceful and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub and fire pit allowed for extra relaxation. There are plenty of wineries and distilleries nearby if thats what you are looking for. Restrooms and bedrooms were clean. The pillows were firm so if you prefer a softer pillow I would consider bringing your own. I believe the closest grocery store was 20 mins away but we stopped before our arrival so that was no biggie. Easy check in and host was very responsive. Enjoyed our stay!

The purple cottage was an awesome weekend stay! We were thoroughly impressed with the great communication by Suzanne all weekend. The cottage was incredibly clean when we arrived and the beds were sooo comfortable! I am even thinking I need to purchase one of those mattresses for my own home. The hot tub was great and warm every time we got in. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved staying here, Kimberly was a wonderful host, this was a wonderful place to stay for a nice relaxing quiet weekend. There was everything we needed and more. It was a very comfortable stay and I highly recommend!

Can’t say enough about the wonderful oasis Ryan and Jonathan have created. It’s close enough to town to get there quickly but far enough to feel like you’re in the country. The cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway with that special person or a family vacation. There’s everything provided that you’ll ever need and more. If you’re bringing a large family, Ryan and Jonathan have that covered too with a two story villa on the property. And if you love animals, you’re in for a treat. Goats, donkeys, alpacas, and sheep are all there for your viewing pleasure. They’re friendly and love carrots. If a visit to Fredericksburg is in your future, you must stay at one of Ryan and Jonathan’s cabins or the villa at Spotted Sheep Farms.

What a great fine? The perfect place to for a Texas getaway that is peaceful and relaxing. I would highly recommend it.

There are 2 houses on this property. I was staying 2 months, and about 10 days into my stay the hot water heater began leaking in the Plum Cottage. A replacement heater had to be ordered. I was offered the chance to move to the other (bigger) Stone House at no additional cost, either until the repair was made, or for the duration of my stay. I chose to remain at the bigger house for the duration. Not only was it an upgrade, but it kept me from having to move all my stuff yet again. That was a very kind offer !! Although this location is in the country and very peaceful, Wimberley is just a short drive for any needed supplies or to visit shops and restaurants. As I'd drive down the road this property is on, folks would wave when passing. I once encountered a deer in the yard as I was heading out. It moved a little farther away, but was still enjoying being on the property a little later when I returned. Nice to be in nature and able to share the same space. A pleasant stay !!

Timothy’s place was perfect for us. We brought our dog, was in walking distance of town, was affordable, and clean. The bed was absolutely amazing. Timothy was great to communicate with. He knew we were coming for dinner and offered suggestions which I always appreciate. It’s clear in his listing and reviews that if you need anything, just ask and he will provide. We did not need anything but I’m sure he would have followed through. I read all the reviews and took a very close look at all the photos which I always do when booking because some listings can be deceptive. I knew exactly what we were getting but please realize this is a small cabin. The only sink is in the bathroom, you walk right into the large amazing king bed, there is only a mini fridge/microwave/coffee area, and the main house is right next door. It basically has the same things a hotel room would have. There is not a living room or couch. For us it was perfect and I’d recommend to anyone not needing much space!

My friends and I absolutely loved our getaway at Kathy & Wayne's place! Not only was the location magical and the house perfect for what we were looking for, they also offered a 3pm check-out without us asking as they didn't have any guests coming the next day. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Cari was very accommodating and incredibly helpful with providing local recommendations! We enjoyed a night in the hot tub under the stars talking and pointing out constellations together. Coffee around the fire pit in the morning was peaceful. We loved playing a game of foosball in the loft area. Thanks Cari for a great stay!

What a charming cottage! We and our pups felt right at home. Loved the history of the cottage, the peaceful setting, and the thoughtful recommendations. I highly recommend this spot if you find yourself in the Texas Hill Country!

Monica was one of the best host we’ve ever had! She was responsive, friendly, and went out of her way to bake us some home made goodies even though we had a last minute booking. The house is quaint and the grounds are peaceful; our kids loved the ping pong table, hot tub and the friendly barn cats! Highly recommend for a mini getaway from the city!

We used to live in Boerne and were coming back for a weekend visit so we were familiar with the area. Took about 10-15 minutes to get to downtown, HEB, etc. we really enjoyed the location and my daughter loved the friendly horse and cat! We kept saying “if we ever move back to Boerne, this is where we want to live!” Everything was clean, directions were easy to follow, and Lise was very friendly and responsive! Great stay! Thank you!
