We had a wonderful few day's stay in John's beautiful cottage. John is very engaging and even phoned while we were on our way to Holy Island to make sure we had received the key code and to see if we had any questions. On arrival everything was in order and Johns instructions on how to find his cottage were perfect. The cottage is incredibly well situated in the village with stunning views of the castle from the kitchen, garden and both bedrooms. We could have just spent our whole time on Hoy Island sat on the patio in the sunshine taking in the incredible view! The cottage is very up to date and the kitchen is well-equipped if you are more inclined to self cater. Everything in the village is only a few minutes walk away. There is a pub virtually next door and another pub two minutes away, also several cafes. There is also a gin shop right next door! There is room to park one car right outside and an EV charging point if you need one. All in all this is a fantastic property.

What a great place for our family to stay for the week. We got to visit our daughter at her hall and also cook some of the foods she was missing. It was super close to everything and not a bad price considering its location.

Delightful coastal feel with comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 babies. Lisa and Gavin were very helpful throughout the whole process.

We had an amazing stay at the property. The hot tub was fab and all the furnishings and amenities were beautiful and spotless. Lovely outside deck with seating and a view of the pond. It felt very luxurious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Shame it was only for one night! There is a Tesco superstore 5 min drive away to pick up anything you need. We will hopefully be back again to stay another time!

We had a wonderful stay at mini-moon. The cottage was modern, light and clean. The modern interior and home comforts made our stay feel luxurious. The copper bath is a lovely touch. Everything you needed was supplied. Nicola was a fantastic host, she was available whenever you needed her.

A really lovely accomodation that met our needs. Spacious caravan that easily accomodared 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 dogs. We felt at home there and it was really well equipped. The site where it is situated is idyllic and beautiful with lovely walks and beaches. We qould love to return for a longer stay to explore more of this beautiful piece of Scotland. Beautiful, well equipped and clean house in a great location for traveling between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Lots of attractions locally, lovely walks and things to do. Easy to park your car on the road outside or there’s a free car park opposite and safe.

Lovely little caravan, nice and clean. Tea, coffee and sugar there and other essentials needed. Mary was very responsive and a brilliant host.

We had a fantastic few days staying at the Wigwam. It was clean and very spacious and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The location was perfect, right on the beach and a short distance from the main centre and shop. Susan was very responsive with any quiestions we had. We will definitely return :)
