Very big space for our group! Had a very comfortable stay throughout!! Definitely will want to come back again.

Such a great home minutes from the center of Rovaniemi and on the river, clean and welcoming space, comfortable accommodations, responsive host, and everything you can ask for. Would highly recommend to visitors.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist bequem und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das fantastisch gelegene und ausgerüstete Saunahaus wird mit den Besitzern geteilt was absolut kein Problem ist. Das ganze Grundstück ist gepflegt und liegt schön an einem grossen See. Die Sicht über den See mit Polarlichtern ist unvergesslich. Ausserordentlich freundliche Vermieter die sich sehr grosse Mühe geben. Jukka hat uns sehr gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Elina was a lovely, attentive host. Nothing was too much trouble, the ice fishing trip was enjoyable and the food was good too. The accommodation was perfect for what we wanted, lovely and clean and the cooking facilities were great. The accommodation was perfectly situated for seeing the northern lights. A rural area but within driving distance of tourist activities. There was lots of snow and we have had a fantastic experience.

Wir waren zum ersten mal in Lappland und es war wunderschön bei Marita. Wir waren tagsüber sehr viel unterwegs, es war alles super Schnee und in dem Apartment alles was man braucht. Am Abreisetag sind wir zur Rentier Farm gefahren und es war ein besonderes Erlebnis die Rentiere zu füttern. Danke Marita für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und wir werden diesen Urlaub nicht vergessen.

Ce séjour en àFinlande pour les fêtes de Noel restera gravé dans la mémoire de notre petite famille et surtout grâce au magnifique cottage familial de Tiina. Quoi de mieux que de se sentir comme á la maison... Ce fut le cas dans cette maison. Tout y est pour passer un très bon moment. L'hôte est très disponible et réactive. L'arrivée flexible avec la charmante maman de Tiina qui nous attend chaleureusement. Dès les premiéres minutes jusqu'au départ on se sent bien. Les lits sont confortables, tout l'équipement nécessaire est lá et même plus. On se sent vraiment comme chez soi. Le must....le sauna traditionnel (et comme la neige est arrivée en même temps que nous0 avec le traditionnel plongeon dans la neige qui suit. Que de belles choses á dire. La tranquilité en étant un peu á l'écart de la ville mais au lilieu de merveilleux paysages boisés et enneigés. Allez-y en confiance vous ne regretterez pas cette approche authentique de la Finlande.... Merci encore à Tiina et sa maman.

Karakteristiek authentiek sfeervol huis dat met liefde is vervaardigd. Het ligt in een niet-toeristisch gebied met toch alle mogelijkheden om je te vermaken, zoals sneeuwwandelen, nordic ski, noorderlicht, sneeuwscooter rijden, kunstmuseum en rendier farm. Matti en Marita waren attent, zorgzaam, interessant, zeer gastvrij en we genoten van de gesprekken en de kookkunst van Marita. Dankzij hen en het huis voelden we ons erg thuis

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt in Aapo's Unterkunft. Die Lage unmittelbar an der Ostseeküste in Verbindung mit der Grillhütte und der Sauna ist einzigartig. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Aapo hat auf unseren Bedarf eines Babybettes flexibel reagiert und uns zur Verfügung gestellt - vielen Dank dafür. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.

Viola and Pertti are very friendly host, always available in case of need of support or questions. The house is cozy and warm as it has central heating as well as a fire place. It is well equipped with everything necessary. The temperature of the heaters can be regulated. The outside toilet is just next to the house, easily accessible even with - 16 degrees and very hygienic. It's possible tu use the sauna and even to take a shower there. All in all highly recommended hosts and location. Thank you for everything, we will be back! :)

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

Great space inside, lots of windows with great views over the river. Comfortable bunk beds, traditional sauna heated with wood fire was a fab experience. Shops 10 km away, super quiet. It's the second time we stayed at Antti's and would recommend it.

Logement très agréable, propre, spacieux et lumineux. Il est proche du centre ville et des commodité. La présence de la route à proximité du logement pourrait gêner la nuit à cause du bruit et de la lumière, mais ça n’a pas été un problème pour nous.

Super sejour avec Sinnika et Jamme, ultra accueillants, qui ont nous ont fait bénéficier de précieux conseils. Très belles et chaleureuse sortie avec Jamme pour chasser les autores boréales avec feu de camp et nourriture typique finlandaise. Le sauna était d'un grand réconfort avec les journées passées dans le grand froid extérieur.

Varattiin Antilta majoitus hyvissä ajoin talvisesongin takia. Hinta oli kohtuullinen ja asunto oli erittäin viihtyisä. Sijainti on oivallinen, mikäli tykkää lenkkeilyä tai pyöräillä, koska vieressä oli hyvät puitteet esimerkiksi näköalatornille tai laavuille patikointi.

Kari was very responsive and also allowed flexible check in close to midnight. The place was clean and tidy. I location of this place is amazing, right in the center close to 24 hour open supermarket on 2 min walk. The only thing I didnt like was the twin bed. But there was no issue with them its just preference. I would definitely recommend Kari’s place.

We had a really lovely stay at Ilona's place for 5 nights. It had everything we needed, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Everything is in easy walking distance; there are two shopping centres within about a 5 minute walk, and you can go on a lovely walk along the river quite easily, and the apartment is well heated when you come home feeling freezing! Ilona's communication was great throughout, and she was at the apartment to greet us and show us around. If you are looking for a small apartment for a holiday in Roveniemi, I would definitely recommend Ilona's apartment!

Tila and Jukka made our trip 10 folds better. Their place is big enough for 4 people to be comfortable in. Tila is a very welcoming host. She gave us plenty of snacks and food. There’s a grocery store in a walking distance and a well equipped kitchen, so you can definitely cook from home. The sauna was very easy to operate and spacious. If you wanna have a chance to see the northern lights without going far, there is a bridge over a river about 20 minutes walk away where there’s a lil less light pollution (although I recommend you get a car and drive up further north to get away from the city for a higher chance). All in all, 10/10 host and 10/10 Airbnb!
