When other spring break plans fell through, we found this place last minute and Michael was so accommodating and flexible, and my son and myself could not be more appreciative. We were very lucky to have found this beautiful spot right on the canal! All kinds of entertainment: the kayaks, paddle boards, ping-pong, darts, well stocked! Michael was very responsive, the place was bright and open, with a gorgeous screened in back deck. It was very peaceful with the sounds of the seagulls, the masts, and the boats going by, what a treat…

Shawn and Melissa’s place was the absolute perfect retreat for our family. After coming off 8 months of intense medical treatments, my tribe needed a break!! This house and location was ground zero for some much needed decompression. We primarily rented it for the outdoor amenities, and although the weather didn’t always cooperate, we were able to make use of just about everything - it did not disappoint!! The kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever experienced and it was greatly appreciated. We are a bike-riding family and the location to everything Topsail offered was within a bike ride away! With 6 adults and two children, the layout of the house allowed us to gather together for meals in comfort, and retreat to our own spaces when needed. We highly recommend The Kraken.

Rob and Mary’s house was perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. The home is super comfortable, with an open floor plan that’s well decorated and has all of the amenities you would need while away from home. The bedrooms were spacious, and the place was very clean. We appreciated having access to all of the beach gear, and for the outdoor deck and hammock which made the stay that much more enjoyable. Finally the home is literally a minute walk across the road to the beach; it was never busy. We’d definitely stay again.

We stayed here with my parents and two young kids and the space was perfect for everyone! We appreciated all the extras available for our use - kayaks, beach chairs and toys, swings out back. Nick was always responsive and very accommodating. He even helped get a lost doll back to us after we left! Highly recommend!

Beautiful house exactly as described! Location was perfect with a fun short walk to the beach. Felt very safe. Host was friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely experience!

Beautiful Place, and very relaxing. I book again and recommend to family and Friends. This airbnb has everything you need plus more. It is beautifully decorated and has beautiful views.

This was one of our favorite vacation rentals ever. The location along the canal was so quiet and peaceful. We used the paddle boards and kayaks, and spent so much time outside at the the dock in the evenings. Our kids enjoyed fishing. We rented the golf cart for the week which made trips to the beach quick and easy. The house was very well stocked with paper products, condiments, and basic cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for everything Mindy!

Very nice beach house with views from deck overlooking the intercostal water way. Only a couple blocks from beach and very close to all the restaurants. Hot tub was a big plus since it was during cold months. Very clean and nice decor and furniture. Definitely recommend this rental!!

We had a great long weekend stay. The house exceeded our expectations, was spacious and the views were incredible. Only a half mile drive to the bridge leading to the surf city pier.

Second time that I have been here and it was just as amazing as the first time. It is literally a play ground with all the water activities right at your fingertips and the sunrises and sunsets are picturesque!!!

Pictures do not do Creekside Cottage justice. It is even more breathtaking in person. Beautiful location. Friendly host and a sweet welcome from Buttercup (their lab). We came for a UNCW Alumni event. Creekside was perfectly located for all our events as well as to downtown and the beach. Great restaurants near by which featured local cuisine. Attention to detail by Roy and Rebecca in decorating and anticipating their guest needs at the cottage was impeccable. We cannot wait for our next stay.

Before we arrived Sue let us know that we would be able to check in a little early, which was a nice gesture. The home itself was immaculate and exactly as described and the view of the sound was beautiful. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to utilize the kayaks or paddleboards but we definitely want to come back and stay an extra day or 2 when it's warmer. There was a coffee bar stocked with lots of goodies too and even some additional equipment in the outdoor storage like life jackets and toys for the beach. We had to come back because we left something and got to meet Sue and she was very friendly, as expected, and welcoming. We loved this place and enjoyed her as our host!

This cozy cottage was exactly what my daughter and I needed for a weekend away in a secluded setting on their property. Charlene was a gracious host and the amenities in this cozy cottage were impeccable! It was super inviting, modern, and had all the things that you needed including very appreciated basket of snacks upon arrival. My daughter and I really enjoyed using the gym next-door and then headed out toward Wrightsville Beach the next day. We enjoyed the fire pit at night with provided firewood on the cute patio with the string lights and peaceful sounds of nature. Grocery stores were easily 5 to 10 minutes away and Wilmington was a good 15-20 minute ride. Topsail was 25 minutes in the other direction and we loved visiting there as well. The property is huge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cottage! Great stay overall!
