We had a peaceful relaxing time at Herbs. Searenity is in a wonderful location, amazing ocean views with heaps of wildlife literally at your doorstep. Think kangaroos, superb fairy wrens and a cute Echidna who visits regularly ☺️ Herb has absolutely thought of everything you will need for an awesome break. We can highly recommend you book a stay. The best Airbnb we have stayed at.

Marine Cottage was perfect. The view was spectacular with the beach directly in front. The house had everything we needed, was extremely clean and had personal touches like fresh eggs and water. The location is excellent for exploring the island. We walked and swam at the beach everyday. We will be back next year. Thanks Peter and Jo.

Place is beautiful and matches photos! Furnishings are very well thought out and instantly give you a holiday vibe. We had a local koala in the next door neighbour’s tree and we saw an echidna cross the road not far from the property. The beach was fun to fish in the evening and the beach definitely looked like a good crabbing beach throughout the day. Great central location, being not far from Kingscote and not far from Penneshaw. There are no supplies available without a drive though so make sure you have supplies. Would highly recommend to others if you are looking for a relaxing getaway! Kevin is a great host to deal with also, thanks again for a lovely stay.

Best location in Penneshaw. Clean , very close to beach. Great for families or couples. Everything you could need. Wonderful!😁

French couple visiting Kangaroo Island for the first time. Emily is a premium host, she’s very reactive and the beach house is super clean and well decorated. The view from the living room and master bedroom is stunning. You’ll be able to spot from the beach house : kangaroos, wallabies, dolphins, galah cockatoos, cormorants etc. We even saw a seal !! U can go for a swim in front of the house but we recommend the Stokes Bay beach (paradise beach) 10min by walk from the house. The beach house is well-located (in the middle of the island so u ll be mid-distance from everything) but be careful to go to the supermarket at your arrival in Cape Jervis (port) because there are none other supermarkets around the beach house. Nearest real supermarket is in Kingscote (40min by car). We’ll enjoy coming back and having seafront bbqs !! Thx for all

We enjoyed staying at this property, it was in a good location, great access to beach and use of pool was great too. Provided for a relaxing getaway with good amenities.

Great house for a group of people. Bedrooms were a good size, big fenced yard to play in and a very equipped kitchen. Having to bring linen is a bit of a pain but otherwise a great house. Beautiful location, we saw kangaroos and echidnas from the balcony. We would book again.

We were blown away by the location, south shores resort is incredible and impeccable as is Narelle’s property. Absolute flawless property, styling was spot on, everything so clean and functional and Narelle was such an excellent host, prompt, thorough and super helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our kid free week end with friends. We will definitely be back next year.

We loved our two night stay at Banksia Dunes. The house was exactly as advertised and worked well for our family. With two young kids the pool was nice and close as was the beach. The house its self was clean, tidy and well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, frying pans, platters etc and most importantly the coffee machine. Thanks for a great stay. We look forward to coming back.

We had a lovely few days at Villa 66! The accomodation was clean, spacious, had all the facilities we required, and more! The host was friendly and responsive. The kids are looking forward to returning soon.

This house was such a lovely part of our holiday. We had a baby with us so spent quite a lot of time at the house and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The spa and pool table provided constant entertainment and the kitchen equipment was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals from home. Marnie was lovely to communicate with and was very accommodating for us and the baby. The beach was a close walk and was absolutely pristine! We would definitely come back here for a holiday!

Was lovely to walk-in and just relax, myself and two friends are carers and needed respite and take advantage of our time to create as all are quilters but don’t always get time at home to do this when caring for others and not far from home if needed. Can’t wait to book our next getaway, Kathryn

Such a beautiful house and location, all the amenities you need plus a huge outdoor area for entertaining and backyard. Super private and quiet. We will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. A short walk to the beach too.

Liberty was a very attentive host from start to finish.

We loved every minute of our stay. A lovely , comfortable and well equipped home - great beds and lots of extra bedding and towels. A very easy space to live in. The WOW factor is the outside deck area and the view. Just amazing. It was hard to tear ourselves away to explore KI. From the deck we saw dolphins every day, sea lions, kestrel, pelicans, eagles ,kangaroos and lots of bird life. We stayed for two weeks but could easily have stayed a month.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

We had the most wonderful stay at Melissa's beach shack in Carrickalinga. The house was wonderful for two families, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short stroll to one of South Australia's most stunning beaches. Melissa was a fantastic host, with great communication and thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beach escape!
