Our family had a fantastic stay! The property is stunning inside and out and Sara is so thoughtful and stocked the fridge with milk, cream, butter, local yogurt and bread, fruit, homemade granola, etc! We felt so welcomed!

Marshall’s place was the perfect spot for our weekend away with our baby and dog. The location was close to Ohiopyle for plenty of hiking and Marshall also let us know about some trails right around the cabin. The cabin has plenty of amenities for a comfortable stay. We were able to prepare some meals in the kitchen as well. The area surrounding is beautiful and peaceful!

The cottage is beautiful, tranquil, and very comfortable - a one of a kind place. The history of the cottage is very interesting and was part of our wonderful stay there. We, along with our guests with four legs, relished walking the serene property. David was a great host - very helpful, responsive, and nice to work with. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful sustainable farm! Our kids loved interacting with the animals and picking and eating the fresh fruits and vegetables from their varied farm. Nancy and Richard were wonderful hosts and gave a wealth of farming knowledge and experience. We definitely got a lot more than we anticipated! We all had a lovely stay and hope to visit again!

A great place to stay for a weekend of basketball at spookynook. It was conveniently located, clean, cozy and comfortable. We were warmly welcomed by hosts and their animals. We loved feeding the horse!

This adorable revamped barn was the perfect weekend get away. My friends and I celebrated my 30th Birthday and this was the perfect setting. We woke up to the sun shining in the house and we enjoyed our coffee over the most beautiful picturesque backyard. The trees still had a few colorful leaves left on them and the horses grazed the field. We don’t have a single negative thing to say about this home.

Great get away. Quite and peaceful. Loved watching the animals from the coach.

We stayed with our family of 5 (3 kids age 5 and under) and were very comfortable in the guest house. The loft bedroom is very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The farm and surrounding area is peaceful and the kids loved seeing the animals. Easy drive to Knoebels. It was a great little getaway for our family.

Host was very responsive and helpful. Place was as described. It is a very large vintage farmhouse. Had the looks and feel of staying at grandma’s house with plenty of space to spread out. Only negative, was because the house had carpets, drapes, pillows etc., it was tough on my allergies. I stayed in the room with the two beds because it was without carpet and it was fine after I removed the pillows. The other guests in my party had no issues.

Perfect getaway. A peaceful reprieve minutes from all we needed. Thank you for the accommodations.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The home was beautiful and it was really cool to see the horses in the stables below. You could hear them bump a few times in the night, but it was not bothersome at all. There were fresh baked molasses cookies waiting for us and they were delicious! We were only able to stay one night, but would have loved to stay longer!

This is the perfect spot for a quick getaway. Anastasia was super quick to respond with any questions. The horses they have on the property are absolutely gorgeous and super friendly. Great area for hiking and lots of waterfalls to see as well.

Beautiful stone cottage surrounded by a bucolic farm, the cottage was super warm and cozy, possibly the most comfy bed we have ever slept in. We loved the farmhouse decor! Visiting with Pebbles and Bam Bam the Goats was fun! There's lots to do in the area but we also loved staying in! We will certainly be back!

My wife and I needed a quick getaway weekend, Shirley's place fit the bill. The area was very quiet and a short walk across the street was their horse barn and a nice relaxing creek. On arrival a barn cat greeted us. Shirley was very helpful with any problems we encountered which were minimal. My wife really enjoyed the fire pit. We like to hike and Shirley's place was a short drive to some nice hiking trails. We would definitely stay there again.

Amy’s cottage was just perfect. Easy to get to and so comfortable inside. any time of year would be beautiful there. Interior was clean and accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again! Amy’s response time to questions we had before hand was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My family of 6 stayed here during a home remodel after a flood at our house. Lots of room to hang out with the whole family, amazing dining room table to fit all of us, comfortable beds and the 3 bathrooms were very nice. The tree swing outside was a HUGE hit for everyone, children, and adults included. I will definitely recommend out of state family to stay here.

Anne and Mark's cottage is a very special place. We were impressed with the creative repurposing of an old building, it demonstrates a clever use of space and offers a relaxing and cosy interior design. The location has the best of both worlds, you feel like you are miles away from the madness of humanity but you can get to restaurants and shops in a few minutes. Close by is Giant, a fantastic supermarket for ingredients to cook your own meals or find anything you're missing. The cottage is very close to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and Mount Cuba gardens. Anne and Mark are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is a real treasure in the Brandywine Valley.

Amazing place, we loved it. We stayed busy while visiting so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked, but the pool table, hot tub, and movie room definitely got used. We did have some issue with the water going in and out but for the most part it didn't cause much trouble. It was so peaceful and spacious we weren't stressed the whole time there.

We had a great time staying at the barn! The property was beautiful and very peaceful. The horses, donkeys, goat, and dogs were all very friendly and my family had a great time visiting with all the animals at the property. The host was super accommodating and provided some recommendations for local restaurants and pizza (which was delicious!). Highly recommend staying here!

Very charming and cozy farmhouse. Very peaceful and quiet. Kerri and Mike were great hosts - always responsive and very quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely come back here should we be in the area again!

Beautiful property with outdoor activities in every direction. The house was immaculately clean, spacious, and very well equipped! Penny (the donkey) was a sweetheart, and watching storms roll over the nearby hills was a thunderous treat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for rural peace and incredible night skies.

We stayed at the Airbnb during a long weekend for skiing at Liberty Mountain . They were five of us including two little kids and a puppy. Shelley‘s description of the place was spot on and the place was very cozy and comfortable. The property is just a short 10 minute drive to liberty Mountain ski resort. The old historic farmhouse has been beautifully restored and has a lovely setting with stunning views. There was ample space around the property to walk our puppy and the kids enjoyed walking up and down the steep stairway. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there, despite the really frigid weather! Kudos to Shelly for maintaining the place so well.

It’s not easy to find a place where 10 adults and 8 kids can all stay, play, sleep, eat, and shower comfortably— believe me, we did a lot of looking! But Sue’s place was all that and more. It’s spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-stocked. There are plenty of beds and bathrooms and separate seating areas with games and televisions and comfortable seating. The game barn is super fun and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. Sue met us at check in to show us around and was super friendly and helpful, and responsive throughout our stay. We enjoyed our vacation immensely, largely thanks to having such a great place to stay.
