Barry's place is impeccably clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, including exposed brickwork and decor paying homage to the historic port city of Manistee. Kitchen is brand new, spotless, and well appointed with glassware, dishes , & utensils, appliances, and coffee station. As a guest, we were want for absolutely nothing. Bathroom is likewise new and spotless. Beds & bedding are very clean and comfortable. Barry provided very easy to following directions to the apartment, where to park, how to enter, and easy easy TV viewing. He rightfully suggests parking out front upon arrival to carry luggage in the front door and up (straight) stairwell into the apartment. The spiral staircase at the back where you park overnight is fine, would just be a challenge with luggage in tow. We absolutely recommend and will return. Literally the only thing we missed was eating out on the deck and watching boats & the occasional freighter passing thru the channel (we were here in March).

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

This place is cute as a button with the layout and decorations! Not overly big or too small - just right! During the summer, it would be even more awesome being on the lake as this place and has kayaks and paddle boards! I really wish it had been warmer so I could have used them. Nice fire pit too. Books! Lots to choose from! My mom and I really enjoyed it! I look forward to coming back for each of the seasons!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Daphne & Will's gorgeous home. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement – their space was filled with tasteful decorations, thoughtful touches, and high-quality finishes and furnishings. There was no way we could use every amenity available on a short 3-day stay, but that's all the more reason to come back and enjoy the space again sometime in the future. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, view of the trees and lake, and comfy sofa – perfect for a relaxing trip. Will and Daphne struck the perfect balance of responsiveness, giving space, and friendliness. Airbnb perfection.

We were thrilled to find a last minute cancellation at this hidden gem for our labor day weekend trip! Kathy's directions were very thorough. The best part was that she included the use of all of her water toys in the rental - there were two stand-up paddle boards, numerous kayaks and a big rectangular floating pad that the kids loved. The biggest island in the center of Spider Lake is a very doable paddle from there. This property faces north on the lake which is the perfect vantage point to see the Aurora Borealis if the conditions are right, which they were for our time! This has been on my bucket list, so I am beyond thrilled! The stars are amazing too! We all felt comfortable inside and my husband said he had one of the best sleeps he's had in a long time. The kids loved the loft beds. We just wish that the spiders of Spider Lake weren't so abundant on the docks, so our arachnophobic girls could relax more, but there's not much that could have been done about them.

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. Your Peaches will be back soon.

Our second winter ski vacation at Don and Denise’s. Wonderful hosts that truly go out of their way to help their guests. Their space is very comfortable with beautiful view of Crystal Lake and close to all the ski trails of Crystal mountain. A perfect up north get away for our family. All the amenities and games for the kids, with a hot tub to soak in after a fun day on the slopes. We plan to be back next season.

My husband and I loved this place and the fact it is dog friendly so our two rascals were able to join us! We loved the view and the fire place, the big kitchen that comes with everything you need and the big couch to lounge around on. The only thing was the heater on a very cold night felt it wasnt working but had plenty of blankets to grab. Other than that we would come again and loved it so much!

The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

My family and I spent a couple of days at Craig's airbnb over our Spring Break. I highly recommend this airbnb if you are traveling with a big group or if you are looking for a place to relax. The airbnb was extremely clean, spacious and very well designed. The rooms all have attached bathrooms, the kitchen is well stocked and the view of the lake is stunning. Craig was a friendly and responsive host and ensured that we were comfortable. He was extremely flexible and allowed us to check out late as we were traveling with our 1 year old daughter. This airbnb is beautifully designed and decorated and we look forward to staying here again!

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

From the word GO Michelle(Mike🥰) was the best hostess. She and her husband both treated us like family and were very gracious to our needs. Superb people to rent from and the accommodations!! In my grandson’s words …. We are making this a tradition ❤️

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

My family of four stayed (kids 5 & 8) and we loved the place and the views. The place is spacious and the beds were so comfy! It’s a short distance to Grand Haven. The pool was a little bit of a walk but great for our kids. We didn’t know where the dumpster was to take out the garbage at checkout but finally found it. Really really great time and we hope to rebook next year.

I highly recommend this property. The location is fabulous, it's clean, well-stocked with what you need, and has comfortable beds.

We rented this Airbnb when we came up to check on the renovations going on at our cabin. This place worked out great for us. It was quiet despite being on the main road. Bed is comfortable. Living room area is also comfortable. I would recommend it to others.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Location was amazing short walking distance of several great restaurants and right on a great bike path that you could ride endlessly. The pool was added bonus for 2 kids and highly recommend boat rental place in Fruitport!
