This is a wonderful place to stay. It was very comfortable and all the things I was in town to do were all within walking distance. It is in quiet neighborhood and the interior was very nice and clean. I really enjoyed it and will definitely book again when I’m back. There are many restaurants within a short walk and stores are close by. This was my first time to Elizabeth City but it won’t be my last. Have a washer and dryer was a plus. The host was very responsive to any questions I had.

This place is very nice and clean. Looks just like the photos. Donnie even gave us a $5 gift card to the local coffee shop as a welcome gift. There was a party taking place downstairs from our room, a little noisy at times but did not disturb me in the least. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Donnie’s place is great! The apartment is immaculate and very comfortable. The location is awesome, right downtown. We parked our car at arrival and didn’t move it all weekend. Communication is awesome and check-in and check out is easy and simple. Would highly recommend Donnie’s place, you will not be disappointed.

We have stayed at this airbnb several times. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and is always ready and clean. Donnie is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or requests. I particularly appreciate the photo attachments he sends to help clarify location instructions. Great host and location!

Very pleasant stay. House was exceptionally clean. Details were accurate for check-in, check-out, etc. Great for pets - there is no trace that they were ever there. Good size & grassy back yard for those walks. Victoria made a great effort to communicate with us. We now have family in the area and expect to return!

Nestled within a tranquil golf community, this property offers a perfect blend of relaxation and modern amenities. The home’s interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring updated furnishings, electronics, and a fully equipped kitchen. The golf course was a short drive or golf cart ride away. You can rent the golf cart from the course for $25 for the whole day. The marina is a short walk through a close cul-da-sac where you can rent kayaks or fishing supplies. The host was exceptionally responsive, ensuring a seamless check-in process and promptly addressing any questions during our stay.

So nice to be just outside the hustle and bustle of OBX life. The cottage was delightful, with everything you need to enjoy your time. We did not use the amenities of the country club, but we walked our dog several times and the grounds are pristine. We look forward to coming back again.

I stayed 3 months at this location. Brenda and Graham are very kind and accomodating hosts. They're very quick to address any problems, and they keep the house clean. Also, they have lots of information about fun things to do in the area. The location is pleasant and historic, but it's important to know that it's rural and without cell service. However, Brenda and Graham have great internet, and a more urban area like Suffolk is only half an hour away. Highly recommended!

Stop searching for a place and book this one. Right now. If you're looking for a tranquil oasis to get away from it all, this is the property for you. The house itself was relaxing and spectacular. I never wanted to leave the sunroom! Yoga with Mari was so much fun and we even got to visit baby goats on the farm with Kristen. The only warning I have is- be prepared to never want to leave. I'm already excited to return! There were fresh eggs left for us, as well as freshly baked blueberry bread. The soap from the goat farm was divine! Be sure to spend plenty of time in the hot tub and get out and look at all of the stars. Nature is truly beautiful in this place. If I could give it ten stars, I would. Thank you, Quang and Mari for such an incredible stay!

Wendy was a fantastic host, extremely clean home and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Their location was very easy to find and really cozy, would definitely rent again.

The house was so beautiful. Warm, inviting, well-maintained…it was worth every penny. We would absolutely stay here again.
