We had a great stay!! The house is charming, nice layout and in a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub and spent quality time on the front porch. I highly recommend this house. Great for a family or group of friends.

Loved this super cozy and clean place right next to my event! She personalized our welcome which was such a great touch! She’s so responsive and even let us check in early! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Liesl's Airbnb was clean, conveniently located to the bike event that we attended and to local restaurants. The house was unusual in its color selection, collection of artistic items and was quite spacious. We spent most of our time in the plant room which had wonderful plants and lots of light. The air conditioning worked well and there were multiple outlets for plug in devices. We had a nice relaxing time.

Sheila’s place was awesome for our crew of 4 to stay. There was plenty of room and comfortable for all. The views and river out back make this location beautiful and peaceful.

Cannot say enough nice things about this place and our host. We stayed for the Christmas holiday while visiting family and felt very at home. The place was decorated for Christmas and we were left ingredients for s’mores! My 5 year old was so excited. Super tucked away in a neighborhood and so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful backyard and an updated interior. We would definitely stay again.

We were staying for a family bereavement the host was very helpful and assisted us right away with a few things we needed. He couldn’t have been more accommodating and gone above and beyond what he needed to help us out. The beds were so comfortable too. We would highly recommend staying here.

The house was clean and had all the basics we needed. Everything is mostly in good working order. A few small things needed fixing, but they did not affect our stay. The beds are comfortable, though on the soft side, so depends on one’s preference. The location is quiet on a well-lit street, but close to restaurants, coffee shops, and the waterfront. Overall, we had a great time and very much enjoyed our stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks!

Naps on the Beach was incredible!! It was a totally new experience for all of us. Surrounded by beautiful houses in this area of the 4x4 beach was something everyone should experience. The views, sunrises and sunsets were second to none and having the option of the pool, hot tub or beach just a short walk away gave everyone choices to relax in our own way. The Wild Horses visited us daily too! 

Our host was always responsive to any questions. The house provided so many places for guests to sleep and the living room / dining room / Kitchen area was definitely the place to hang out. I read somewhere that if Naps on the Beach was available, jump at the chance to stay there….and that was exactly right!!

Wonderfulplace to stay Beautiful surroundings

This home is an absolutely FANTASTIC getaway location! My family enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The house was as pictured and as described and then more. It is a quick ride back to the water where we spent most our day. We would finish each day with a dip in the pool and hot tub. The back yard view is fantastic as well. My kids spent so much time fishing off the dock on the canal catching crabs, and white perch fish. We loved all the horse views at all random times of the day. I could go on, and on! The hosts were very responsive to all my questions and so accommodating. I would give this home 10 stars if I could!

So nice to be just outside the hustle and bustle of OBX life. The cottage was delightful, with everything you need to enjoy your time. We did not use the amenities of the country club, but we walked our dog several times and the grounds are pristine. We look forward to coming back again.

This house was perfect for our family's last minute quick vacation. Brook was super responsive and always thorough. The directions were to the tee and house just like pics, practically new. We knocked down major webs to get through the garage door, but it's to be expected in that area. Frogs come out at night! Specifics: - KITCHEN: Spacious with EVERYTHING we needed!! Electric griddle, spice rack, 2 coffee makers, storage containers, instant pot, baking dishes, cutting boards, pots, glasses, and much more! As people who cooked, we were thrilled. Grill was in pristine condition. Basic starter supplies provided and came in handy. - BATHROOMS: Very clean. Cute miniatures bags and towels were very plush. - BEDROOMS: Bedding and pillows very comfy. - LOCATION: Grocery store, gas stations and OBX waterpark were all less than 10 mins. We used the beach pass at two locations with no problem. Travel depends on traffic and averaged 20mins. Nags head is about 30 mins. We had a great stay :)

We enjoyed a peaceful stay after long days on bikes. We were in town for the NC Coastal ride. After riding for 30+ miles each day we came back to a tranquil location. The home is immaculate. Every item one would ever need was provided. It was perfect to have a full size fridge for our supplies. Beth even left firewood in case we wanted to enjoy the fire pit. We were able to stretch and get in a yoga session on the dock. Yoga mats were provided. The home feels like a ship in that it is surrounded by water. The waves and fresh air made for incredible sleep each night. An osprey nest is outside the window. With the binoculars we were able to watch the progress of the nest and the amazing pair catch fish. The communication throughout the stay was spot on. The “billion dollar” view is remarkable, but the amenities and care from the homeowner make this is top notch vacation spot.

Very nice, clean . Great location owners are very responsive and helpful! Will stay at this location anytime I’m in the area.

River Shore had room for the two of us to spread out a little and enjoy the river view. The geese flying overhead and the red birds chirping in the yard gave us many pleasurable moments did walking along the entryway road. Very enjoyable stay.

This place was a great spot, it was a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants within walks bf distance which was great!! We would book again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay at Maureen's house. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but also only 2 miles or less from popular restaurants. It was also very safe and convenient to ride bicycles down Church Street to downtown Elizabeth City for the start of the Cycle NC Coastal Ride event.

The entire experience was wonderful!! The host gave clear instructions, a great space, and amenities :) Definitely recommend them for your stay, I’ll book here on a future trip to E. City 😁

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.
