We wanted a nice quiet getaway, and we found it here. It was everything and more that was listed. We were very pleased and would love to return on our next visit, and will definitely recommend Courtney’s places to anyone looking

The house was beautiful! Definitely need 4x4 to get back there though! Even with AWD we slid down the last hill before the house because of the snow/ice mixture. We did finally make it and had a wonderful weekend with friends! Beautiful view of the sunrise over the lake and to look out all day at the snow! Would love to make time to come back in the summer months!

What a lovely home!!! Good eateries nearby and beautiful location. My guests and I loved staying here, very comfy and cozy. Plenty of space to spread out and COMFY beds! We enjoyed how quiet it was but a quick stroll away from some good eats or a nice view. Great house! We would love to come back again

The house was great, only downfall for our stay was that it ended up snowing and being too cold to enjoy anything outdoors or the game room because it didn’t get warm enough in there. But overall it was a great house and I could definitely see myself coming back during the summer

Wonderful cozy house right on Buckeye Lake- great access to the local area and lake trail, direct water view, house was very warm, comfortable, well-equipped, exactly as described. Stephanie was extremely responsive and accommodating, really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay! Absolutely and full recommend!

We were delighted with all of the extra attention to detail, thoughtful supplies/kitchen comfort items, and fresh linens/bath items were a bonus! As frequent travelers, our unit's updated decór, cleanliness, and simplicity were all greatly appreciated!

We really enjoyed our stay. They made my boufriends birthday very special. It was clean, provided coffee, snacks, great games and the outdoor area is so inviting and great! The hot tub was clean and the perfect touch to our weekend

Beautifully renovated lakeside cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay! Great walking/biking path (I felt 100% safe walking at night), and tasty restaurants nearby. Quiet and peaceful, with a fantastic lake view right from the living room! Highly recommend!

We will be booking again! Kelly was super thoughtful going as far as to make buckeyes and cookies for us and homemade dog treats for our fur babies. She had everything thought out. We could not stop talking about how thoughtful and kind she was. She communicated every step of the way to ensure we were all taken care of and had everything we needed. Super clean, and as described. Felt right at home, modern, functional and cozy. Had plenty of space for my family of 5 that included a 2 year old, and twin 4 month olds. WiFi was great to get work done especially in neat little office nook. We booked as a last minute holiday stay but would definitely return and look to stay here during the summer months to enjoy the lake and the local restaurants there.

Great place to stay at Buckeye Lake. Easy and close access to the path that goes around the lake. Spacious living room for 4 and nice large dining table for meals. Dog friendly as well! Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Everything was clean and I was impressed that the kitchen was very well stocked. The hot water flowed great so the showers were glorious. The only thing that I noticed was the bed seemed to be a little wobbly.

Despite dozens (hundreds?) of other options in the area, we’ll never look to stay anywhere else besides the Cottage. That’s about the highest praise I can give a vacation rental. We needed a weekend getaway with our twin 5 year olds, and this couldn’t have been a better choice. Peaceful, relaxing, and private, but with delicious wine, the kindest people, sheep, Alexander the dog, and blueberry banana bread. Margit was kind, helpful, and responsive, and Mark was so considerate to our whole family. The Cottage itself is kid friendly, and has everything you need and none of the rental fluff that you don’t. Simple is so much harder than complex, since simplicity requires choices. The house is perfectly simple, tasteful, and just the right size. I almost don’t want to be too effusive in my praise because I want to be able to book it again. If you want to be in the US but feel like you’re somewhere else, book it. We can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful experience!! An idyllic setting looking over woods leading to a lake! Todd was great to work with, very flexible and responsive. Would highly recommend.
