A very nice place to stay that is something a little different. The castle is not easy to get to, but it is worth it when you are there: quiet, relaxed, with lots of trees. The rooms are super clean and well furnished. The host is very helpful and friendly. This is highly recommended for anyone looking for an adventure in a castle.

The property was exactly as described and surpassed our expectations. It was easy to find, the directions are spot on and Rose was very easy to communicate with. Early access was granted which was amazing. Every amenity listed was available and there was a lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful old castle,the grounds even in winter were lovely. Very peaceful and walks right from the front door. Close to Dunblane, Stirling Castle and other historical sites.

We couldn’t have been more happy with our stay. The cottage was clean and tidy, and had everything you needed. We felt so at home here and didn’t want to leave. Our host Mimi, was lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. A beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy. It far exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return. Pictures do not do this apartment justice! It was the last place we stayed before we went home and was easily the favorite of our group. The Palace is stunning and the apartment makes you feel like you're in a fairytale. I cannot recommendation this listing enough! Read all of the instructions sent to you from the host! I had a momentary minute of confusion when trying to check in, but it was completely my fault for not fully reading everything that was sent to me before we arrived. Once I read them, I had no issues finding the keys and apartment.

If you are looking for simple country elegance - this castle stay is it. We dined in for the duration of our stay to maximize the Immersive forest experience- walking trails nearby, fully equipped kitchen with great recommendations from Linda and John as to where to shop. Picturesque surroundings and just the place to relax for a few days on our busy first visit to Scotland - it does not disappoint.

We had a wonderful three nights at Bamff. We were very cosy, and everyone on the estate was very friendly and made us feel completely at home.There are some lovely walks nearby, and it was exciting to see the traces of beavers and other wild animals in the woods. The place has a magical air to it, and I am definitely planning on visiting again in the future.

11 friends stayed at Kinclune House for 3 nights as a wee festive get together. The house was amazing and is in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings. The house as well equipped and there was everything we needed for our stay! The house is huge and there was more than enough space for all of us with lots of different rooms to chill in and lots of board games to choose from! Aylwin was always very responsive to any questions we had and we are hoping to return again next year ☺️

Outstanding stay. 400+ year old castle, and yet the interior is cozy and comfortable. Lots of space, immaculately clean, everything in good working order with modern appliances, and Tracy has gone above and beyond in providing games, books, and all the creature comforts. There is much to do in the area, and the locals are an absolute joy. The walls are drywalled, but the evidence that you are staying in castle is all around. It’s a unique opportunity you should not pass up if you have the chance.

We spent Christmas here with the family and it was perfect. Definitely a little isolated, but if you come prepared it's a beautiful location to stay and very memorable.

This is an apartment within Dollarbeg Castle and was worth every penny. A lot of stays in Scottish Castles are invariably cold, draughty and old fashioned. This place is none of those. It is warm, well decorated, immensely stylish, well provisioned with all the necessities and more. I really cannot rave about this place enough.
