Just returned from a family trip staying at sandy toes. Had an awesome time, accommodation was amazing lots of room for 6 adults and 1 German shepherd who all had a ball. Definitely will return 👍👍 thanks Lisa 😘😘

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer. Der Blick durch die Fenster im Wohn- und oben im Schlafzimmer ist super schön und hat etwas beruhigendes. Der Strand ist über eine kleine Mauer im Vorgarten direkt erreichbar. Ansonsten ist die Unterkunft klein und gemütlich und verfügt über alles, was es benötigt. Die Betten sind mega gemütlich und alles war super sauber und gepflegt. Simone ist gut erreichbar, hat alles bestens beschrieben und war sehr zuvorkommend. Sie hat einen Willkommens-Gruß und -Snack bereitgestellt und, da wir mit Kleinkind unterwegs waren, hat sie uns sogar einen Hochstuhl und ein Kinderbett besorgt. Da wir in den Bewertungen gelesen hatten, die Unterkunft sei schlecht zu finden: wir haben sie aufgrund der genauen Beschreibung sofort gefunden und hatten keinerlei Umstände! Auch der Hinterhof war einfach der Eingang von verschiedenen kleinen Häusern und Bewohnerinnen und Bewohnern.

Really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable, nice and warm, and exactly as listed. A quiet location and dog friendly. Thoughtful host who left a little welcome basket of bits and had good communication. We intend to rebook next time we’re back in Brighton.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It had everything we needed, was very spacious, and in a perfect location. The beach is just a short walk away, and it's very easy to get into Brighton.

Absolutely lovely stay at this lovely property. Mark was always very quick to respond and very helpful. The house is feels homely so it’s easy to settle in quickly. Great location and lovely views. Would highly recommend!

Thank you Andrea we had an amazing stay. We were 8 adults (2 who have some difficulties walking due to recent surgeries) and 2 kids and the house worked well for us. It was easily walkable to the beach and the garden was a treat particularly for the Easter egg hunt. Very soft beds too.

Fabulous place to stay right by the beach and not too far from Rye. The house had everything we needed to cook in and was a perfect layout for an extended family to relax and socialise. The garden was a good size with a lovely hammock and table tennis table too. We all had a great time and would highly recommend this as a place to stay. Georgina was a good communicator and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you

Lovely place very clean and cozy. Hot tub was great also very clean. Love the little touches with the eggs and orange juice. Will book again in the summer when the pool is open thanks for our stay.

Larissa's place is wonderful and provided the perfect space for our needs. The garden is HUGE and access to the hot tub was a bonus too. The accommodation was well appointed with everything we needed and very homely. We had a very warm welcome and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Fabulous week, swallows nest cottage was lovely and the swimming pool was great, we were the only ones in there each time. Chris even opened the pool early for us which was much appreciated. Used the steam room too and the fabulous hot tub - had fabulous walks with our two spaniels, along the coast to Firehills was our favourite. The Cove pub was amazing, very dog friendly, warm (log fire) and welcoming, food fantastic. All in all a really lovely week. Chris and Erik very ready to help but totally happy to leave you to enjoy their lovely gardens etc. We’ll be back! Thank you Chris and Erik

The pictures truly did not do this house justice. It was lovely inside and out. The game room was just what our two sons needed after a long day out exploring the countryside. They also loved the trampoline and the whole family enjoyed the hot tub. The house was spotless and very well stocked. We loved collecting and eating the eggs from the chickens. Restaurants nearby were delicious and everyone we met in Battle was so friendly. We would love to stay again if we are in the area!

Excellent property. Owners were really nice. Can’t wait to go again when the pool is open. Went to a local pub called Coach & horses, excellent food there. We took our dog and owners kindly asked if we kept her on the lead when in garden of property as they have sheep but there’s a massive field with a woodland walk out back so was fine to let off the lead then. Barn is exactly as described. There’s some good little board games there and our kids got a bit obsessed with cluedo. Was expecting to be chilly as it’s a barn but the underfloor heating makes it really warm and cosy. Will definitely come back.

We enjoyed a wonderful long Easter weekend in this charming cottage. The space was cozy and perfectly appointed, lots of old charm - original cottage was built in 1550! - and special touches that delighted our children and made us feel like we were in quite a magical little space. The gardens are beyond gorgeous and just a lovely space to sit in the sunshine and watch our children play. It was a wonderful weekend filled with children’s laughter, bird song and cozy nights by the fire as a family. Thank you Tim & Maite for sharing your gorgeous cottage with us. The children are already asking we come back soon!

Caroline's cottage was so peaceful and beautiful, set in a gorgeous setting. Caroline provided groceries for a cooked breakfast as well as croissants, which was a great touch and saved us the issue of finding local shops etc. It was lovely waking up to bird song. We loved the way Caroline's ducks came to greet us as we set off each day. Thank you Caroline for responding to any enquiries so swiftly too. Your cottage was so cosy and comfortable.

We had an amazing 3 nights with our small family! The caravan is great, well laid out, equipped and clean. Great selection of games plus the TV and WiFi were convenient. The afternoon sun on the terrace was relaxing and beautiful. The holiday park was small but very friendly. We went swimming in the pool every day and couldn’t believe how close we were to the beach (would’ve taken advantage of that more had the weather been a touch warmer, alas!) The facilities close by (as signposted by Shirley) were fab - harbour, walks and shopping complex. We had a day trip to Battle (1066 Battle of Hastings) which was great and interesting for the whole family. Very much recommend staying with Shirley and will likely stay again ourselves! Nina was a wonderful host, and the cabin is cosy and gorgeous. The garden is completely private and enclosed - perfect for dogs. There was nowhere for the dog to escape. Great to be able to light a fire, felt like posh, warm glamping. Great facilities, including a gas hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.

We had a brilliant stay! The location was private and peaceful, yet perfectly connected to Brighton city centre and the seaside. The space was spotless and super clean. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and proactive with helpful local recommendations. Everything was smooth and easy, making our stay really comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

This was our second stay at Maria's 70's caravan. Very cosy with beautiful views of the field opposite, this time with grazing sheep! Maria and Matt are great hosts. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Marks apartment. It was in beautiful surroundings, lovely and quiet, with a nearby town a short drive away if you do need anything or want to pop out. The flat itself was exactly as per the photos, and peaceful. Mark was a great host, thank you so much for having us!

Such a beautiful cosy perfect little place we fell in love with it the minute we walked through the garden gate, cute, quaint and abit like stepping back in time, an evening in front of the fire on the comfy sofa with a cup of tea after a very windswept walk across the nature reserve was an absolutely perfect Sunday, followed by a great sleep in the super comfy bed , and croissant and fresh coffee for Breakfast kindly left by Lynda who was such a lovely helpful host, we will absolutely be back to stay for longer in the summer, one of our most favorite Air bnb accomodations by far 🙂

Our third stay and just as wonderful as those prior! An idyllic property and area. Always pristine with a wonderfully large/pretty/safe garden for our two dogs. The area is beautifully peaceful and has some fabulous local walks, and it’s well placed for travelling to various nearby towns and beaches. A perfect trip for a change of scenery and some much needed downtime. Looking forward to our fourth trip later in the year!

We had a truly wonderful stay! The place is perfect for anyone looking to take a break from the city and enjoy some fresh air, beautiful nature, and peaceful quiet. It’s exactly what we needed to recharge. Our dog was probably the happiest of all — he loved exploring the surroundings and had the time of his life! Nothing fell short of our expectations, even for us. The host was incredibly kind and considerate, ensuring that we had everything we required for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. A lovely getaway that we would absolutely recommend.
