Stayed 2 nights in Hoedspruit for a visit to BlydeRiver Canyon and Moholoholo. House was clean and linen crisp and fresh, thick thirsty towels, lovely pool. Little duikertjie came to visit through the fence. Forgot to buy water but was pleasantly surprised to find clean drinking water, milk, coffee in the house. Very easy to access, housekeeping such a friendly lady. Loved this listing.

I highly recommend this location if you're looking to connect with nature or enjoy a peaceful moment with your family. Hoedspruit is an excellent place to immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature or experience some adventure. Susan and Per’s home is ideally situated in a secure estate monitored by security and surrounded by wildlife. We felt safe and well-connected. The home was updated, clean, and provided everything needed for a bush stay and more. We highly recommend this home for your next visit after exploring the wild. 5 stars!!!

The property is very private, at least from other humans. Dialy we saw Waterbok, stenbok, guineafoul, Impala, warthogs and heard the hyenas at night. we had a single showing of multiple zeebra and a surprise of a large male giraffe in our driveway eating from the tree we parked underneath. The wildlife estate the property is on is nearly a safari in itself! the outdoor shower and bath was a really nice touch

Andre and Erna were phenomenal hosts. They were present, responsive, helpful, and positive. Andre came each night to help us feed the resident bush babies and Erna had a full breakfast in the fridge and on the counter for us our first morning in the canyon. Our arrival was delayed due to weather and Andre stayed up to ensure we had a smooth entry. They had treats for the kids by their beds and put thoughtful consideration into each guest's stay. The photos of the villa look cool but NOTHING could have prepared us for the view from the front eating patio nor the careful attention to detail in decorating and landscaping of the house. 100/100 recommend!

Great place for lovers needing rejuvenation of all sorts. The one thing that was a slap on the face was the falling leaves into the pool,it was too much for one to swim in. The place was fab and our host the best.Tracey much love.

Dit is echt een geweldige plek! Een super charmante cottage verstopt in de bush. Vanaf de porch kan je genieten van de vogels in de vijgboom en in het donker van de bushbabies. Het huisje heeft een comfortabel bed, alles is schoon en aan alles is gedacht voor een fijn verblijf. Bovendien was de ontvangst door Heidi en Winnish zeer hartelijk. Kortom, een absolute aanrader! Noot: volg de routebeschrijving van Alan want airbnb heeft de cottage (nog) niet op de juiste plaats op de kaart gezet (het ligt buiten Hoedspruit).

From the beginning of my stay here it felt like my home. I stayed in the Big Five room for two months. A beautiful, very cozy apartment for yourself, with its own entrance. Beautiful garden with lovely swimming pool. Walking distance to the center of town where you have enough shops for everything you need. Brenda and Marius are worth having this lovely Airbnb. Everything is done to make your stay pleasant. When I have the chance I will definitely come back here! Beautiful memories !

Getting to the place was easy. Upon arrival we were met by a lovely lady by the name of Veronica. She did the house tour and the place is really lovely and beautiful. Prior to my booking I asked Jordan if there is fishing seeing the pictures on their place she said yes there is. Even on arrival Veronica saw our fishing equipment and nothing was said about the rules of fishing. We took our fishing equipment to the river and caught about 5 fishes. While there the Owner by the name of Eric came to me and told me that the rules of fishing are that it’s a “catch and release policy” we were not supposed to fish out to keep for ourselves.Nothing was said prior about the policy even on their rules in the house. I contacted Jordan and she said to the fishing was only a favour to us so we should abide by the rules. Usually most establishments make rules known to their guests before they book. They said fire wood available and no fee was mentioned. We paid for the firewood. This put us off.

Very beautiful and peaceful set up, from the sounds of the birds to the sounds of the flowing river, i definitely give this a 10/10. The host is very responsive and friendly. I will go back again. I recommend driving there with a bukkie or a car with nice clearance, you will drive in a dust road to get to the cabin. Don’t forget to pack your swim suites, so you can swim in the river✌️

We were very fortunate to find this secluded spot on short notice and what a find! We were unfortunate to have limited time (late afternoon to early morning next morning) there, but we are looking forward to get back there. The cabin we stayed in has a view of the Blyde River through the riparian forest. From the cabin's deck I saw an African Finfoot wading upstream late afternoon, and apparently Pel's Fishing Owl has also been recorded. We encountered 16 Odonata (dragonfly and damselfly) species along teh river within a few minutes. Well designed, clean and comfortable cabin with all the comforts one may need. Highly recommended for birders and nature lovers.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.
