Wow, this place is beautiful. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights as there was so much to do nearby and we wanted to spend some time at the house which had the most incredible views. The local people are very friendly and we felt very welcome. Even though we didn’t have a car there was a lot in walking distance including restaurants. Don’t miss out on the local nature trails, they are incredible.

I’ve been to at least 20 hotels/airbnbs in Thailand alone and this place is hands down my favourite. I could list about 20 reasons why but everything you could ask for, you have at Pila Stay but to list a couple of unique standouts: The host is super friendly and speaks great English too. He has a beautiful altruistic heart, making sure to only hire locals in this small village to boost opportunities for the youth. The cabins are very aesthetic and unique, making you feel like you’re in a storybook! They also offer dinner options which I did t know until I was there, and it was delicious! Breakfast is included in the price but a mile away from your basic hotel breakfast of like eggs and toast. I had a whole feast! The small touches like the onsen style bath, serene colour scheme and adjustable tv are just a cherry on top of this beautiful getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

The place is more like a destination hotel so if you just want to relax and enjoy your holiday, this is the recommended place. The place has its own restaurant available for breakfast and dinner. For lunch, there are some restaurants nearby but it’d be better if you have a car or motor bike to go around. During our three night stay, we saw the sea of mist for one morning and it was really beautiful. The place is pet-friendly. They have some rules about the pets but we didn’t find any problem with them. Overall, my family really enjoyed the stay there.

My family (my wife, her parents, and I) along with our three cats, booked a stay for two nights. We slept very well, and the owner was incredibly kind and provided everything we needed. There are many facilities available, such as a kitchen with a microwave, rice cooker, kettle, dishes, glasses, coffee, fridge, tea, etc. However, we had to clean up after ourselves, which was no problem for us. We truly felt at home in Phetchabun.
