A fine apartment in a nice building away from the hustle and bustle of Lakeside, but still close enough to walk there as often as you like. Pros: -Tika and Madhav! The owners and their family are so welcoming and friendly. You will feel like family while you are there. -Location -Great hiking nearby -Super comfortable beds -Private parking if you rent transportation Cons: -Loud! The family is so welcoming that there are always guests who have a tendency to talk quite loudly. Also, there are many stray dogs that bark and bark! Madhav did speak with the owner of one of the loudest in the area to get them to do something about it which was much appreciated. -The place is great, but sparse. You can’t expect European luxury of course, the apartment has everything you need, it’s just not the most comfortable. All in all, I highly recommend this place. The few missing items or issues we had were instantly dealt with. Thanks so much Tika and Madhav!

Thapa’s place is amazing and secure with 24 security on site. Thapa was super friendly and always responsive to our questions. The house was better than expected, immaculate. The pool was fed by refreshing, clean mountain stream water. The view was among the best in the World. Not much matches drinking coffee in the morning outside while watching the sun light up the Himalayan Mountain range. There were two local markets less than 500 meters from the house. Although they did not sell meat, they took our order and bought us chicken from Pokhara the next morning. I highly recommend using Thapa’s taxi recommendation to drop off and pick up from Pokhara. One night we hailed a taxi while in Pokhara and were charged triple the rate. So stick with Thapa’s recommendation if possible. I will absolutely return to the Pipal Tree to stay again soon.

At the far west end of the lake, away from the hustle bustle of Pokhara's more populated tourist areas. Very quiet at night, comfy beds, and very, very clean. The private balcony on the east side of the loft has a view of the whole lake. At night, I saw the lights all around the lake. The simple kitchen has enough, and Gayatri loaned me whatever else I needed. A very friendly family! Watched the local life on the lake this morning from the 360° rooftop view. Best wifi I've had since I got here, with a good work table and chairs inside, and a table and chairs on the balcony. I think it's better than in the pictures! The big windows let in the breeze and the views, and the high ceilings, and ceiling fan, helped keep it cool. I was very hungry when I arrived and Gayatri prepared a delicious omelette and roti. So easy to check in, get a snack, have a shower, and a nap. Just what I needed. Highly recommend this place, and will return on this trip.

Lovely place, Bishnu, who takes care of the place was very kind and helpful. Well located, just set back from the main road, great view from the balcony and terrace. The only negative is it is quite basically equipped - they could do with a few more day to day things for the apartment (like sponges, tea towels, bin bags etc). Otherwise all was great. Highly recommend!

A lovely place for our family of 3. We could go out and explore and enjoyed rooftop garden, hammock, and festive string lights at night. Morning coffee was much appreciated!

it was a great stay, and location was very close to the pahuwa lake and the main market, room was cozy and peaceful, all the amenities were there as mentioned.

Asmita's place has the greatest view of Pokhara from the balcony. We sat there and enjoyed the Pokhara coastline whenever we got a chance, especially at night. Also, we found great comfort in Asmita and her family's hospitality as they are such good people with warm hearts who always greeted us with a smile in their lips. The place had everything we needed, providing great value for it's price. It also has a restaurant downstairs run by the family where you can get delicious local cuisines. We tried the local fish platter and it was great! 100% recommended.

We were very much impressed by the warm hospitality and attention to detail. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully peaceful , providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. David went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. The location was fantastic, 15min ride on a traditional boat to villa.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend David’s place to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience!”
