Great stay at Betty's place while visiting Portland family ! Very comfortable and clean space with many thoughtful touches. Bed was comfortable, location mostly quiet despite proximity to busy Forest Ave. I slept well with my white noise machine. Location is great and lots in walkable distance, there are some very nice trails in Baxter Woods and Evergreen Cemetery, weather/ice permitting of course. Betty was proactive in reaching out to make sure all was going well, I had no issues and will book again if available. recommended!

Stayed here for a long weekend and it was great. One of the best AirBnBs we have been to. Couldn't recommend it enough!

We loved staying here. First, Jack was very accommodating to our check in and check out (winter storm!) time. He was quick with answering us. The place was perfect for us and our dog- it was very quiet compared to most city apartments. It felt like we were alone in the whole building! The location couldn’t have been more perfect. We walked to every place we wanted to eat and visit. Most places are about a short and easy 8 minute walk. Other reviews have mentioned the church bells being loud- we did not feel this way. We wouldn’t have even noticed them if not mentioned. The space was clean and minimally decorated. Beds are firm but comfortable and the shower was beautiful. Our only “critique” would be to please offer a full body mirror. The only mirror in the apartment was in the bathroom and you can’t get a good idea of your whole outfit LOL. Thank you Jack!

Super clean and cozy, and a short stroll to everything Freeport has to offer. Jennifer and Jay were excellent hosts.

I have no complaints about the space or my stay. Iwas very adequate for my purposes which were to be within 15 minutes of my family. It was quiet and I felt safe.

Everything was great! Roger was wicked responsive and had provided some print out recommendations which were super helpful and even museum passes! Place was located in a quiet back road about a 20 min walk to old port.

Loved this spot! Phoebe and George's place was incredible, it's right in the center of Old Port Portland and walkable to so many restaurants, shops, and coffee shops. The apartment looks just like photos too! It had everything I needed for my few weeks up in Portland (things for cooking, linens, toiletries, etc). I worked remotely while I was there and the wifi was great- never had a issue with it. I highly recommend Phoebe and George's place for anyone wanting to stay in Portland! I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Portland!

We were remodeling our home and needed a place to stay for over a month and this place did not disappoint. The home is welcoming and super clean and neat. There were plenty of amenities for cooking and it was well stocked with paper products and a few toiletries as well as plenty of linens. It is so close to many great businesses and walkable to an excellent Gluten free bakery. The host was extremely kind and responsive to our needs- my son (7) said this home felt just like our own home. His favorite part was the “fancy fridge” that we could play music on and see different pictures according to the weather haha. Definitely a great place.

It was amazing! The house was perfect for our family, we have 3 kids and we all felt at home. Also very pet friendly! Allison was very nice and responsive and the neighborhood was very peaceful. I would recommend with no hesitation!!

My family and I love Sandy’s place. Lots of room, so comfortable and very clean! Sandy is so easy to communicate with and is always quick to reply! Close to the beach to take the dogs for a run in the winter months, close to town for restaurants, bowling, shopping. And just a great place to hang out, watch football, play games, or make pizza in the wood fired pizza oven! This is our second stay and we’ll be back.

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

Great spot with a lot of space you never feel like you are on top of each other. Gas station and restaurants within a 1 min drive. Grocery store 5 min drive.

If your looking to spend time at the beach or something’s attracted you to the area I can’t speak on that. I booked solely for the hot tub. lol. They have comprised a book of information & it seemed very helpful & well put together. I think it’s very close to everything that attracts people to the location. I wanted to try a good lobster roll & they were very quick to respond on a place. Which we returned twice to in the 2 days we spent here. I absolutely LOVED the home. Everything about it the decor, the layout, the furniture, color scheme, everything. I’d pay whoever designed the place to come to mine. I felt right at home. I have a lick of OCD. I get high anxiety with uncleanly spaces & 9/10 clean everyplace I stay in prior to unpacking. I didn’t feel the need here. My friend were SHOOK. lol. They had everything well stocked for a longer stay. I’m very impressed. I’ve spent the last 5 years traveling the nation, living in over a dozen places. This place was best stocked. Impressive

Stayed with a few friends for a weekend. The house was beautifully appointed, had everything we needed, and exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again!

Loved the condo and its location! Parked the car and never had to use it all weekend…everything within walking distance. Incredible views…watching the sunrise and lobster boats head out while sipping coffee was a highlight. Always something interesting to look at. Would definitely stay again.

Gerry's place was perfect for our stay in Portland. My 3 adult children and I had plenty of room. The house is close to the Old Port, the highway and other Maine points of interest. We were close to our relatives' house for Thanksgiving! I would highly recommend Gerry's place!!

Great place, great host.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed staying at Steph’s place in Portland. The location is great and is near many restaurants and bars. Steph provided many recommendations on different spots within the city. We were within walking distance to everything in the Old Port area. The included parking spot is super convenient as well. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The shower has super strong pressure and the hot water may not get super hot at times. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay again when we visit Portland.

Great location to be able to walk to the shops and restaurants, art district, theatre, etc in town. Cute and cozy condo in a building with beautiful original character. The list of recommendations was appreciated and helpful. Host was very responsive and friendly and flexible when possible. We enjoyed our stay here for our first visit to Portland!

My family and I stayed for Prelude 2024 - perfect location!! Was easily walkable to everywhere in town. The unit was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend and would stay again!
