Alessandra is a FANTASTIC host! The apartment is beautiful, extremely clean, well furnished and an absolutely perfect location! Alessandra is very responsive and easy to work with. The parking offered came in handy if you bring a car. The old town is very quaint, quiet and easy to get around. This is one of the best Airbnb apartments we have ever rented. We will be back next time we visit Cefalu!

Francesco and his wife are just great people so kind and warm we loved everything about them and their place book with them for the very best place in Mondello beach

Die Zeit bei Stefania war wunderbar. In Mondello hat uns alles erwartet, was wir uns gewünscht haben. Das Wetter war toll und wir konnten baden, sehr gut essen und auch wandern und Sightseeing war möglich. Palermo ist mit dem Bus unkompliziert und sehr regelmäßig zu erreichen. Nach gut drei Stunden Fahrt waren wir am Etna. Eine rundum gelungene Woche.

I think it was important for us at the end of our trip to be here as it was away from the frenetic pace of "Downtown Palermo" (which is where we started out our trip) so it was a real pleasure to have Francesco's place and the area to kick back and enjoy. Yet it was also important to us to be able to walk to some really good restaurants and feel completely safe and at ease also. The only thing we wished was that there was a little more bedroom privacy - we were 2 married women (not to each other!) and having to share 1 bedroom (although there was 1 bed and 1 kids' bunk bed available for us) would have been better for a family (a mom and dad and 2 kids, for example). But the place was great otherwise and Francesco was really very helpful, especially with getting us hooked back up w/our airline, so we could check in the day before and all went smoothly when we arrived at the airport! Great to have parking available too!

We loved our stay at Dario’s place. Great location in the heart of the old town with sea views down the street. Dario was very responsive and the apartment perfectly suited our needs!

A delightful, warm , helpful and friendly host. The property was a good size, tidy and well decorated. The location was perfect as you could walk to the beach , restaurant and amenities in no time . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Samuele’s place is definitely a surprising delight to my trip. 1. Samuele was so considerable by telling me the house only got 1 aircon and allow me to choose whether to stick to my plan, turns out the room was quite cozy and the extra blanket was super warm so we didn’t feel cold at all. 2. Samuele’s father was so kind to help my mother with her luggage, he carried the luggage all the way up the hill to the house which was a long way to go, and our luggage was heavy… tbh that was so gentleman of him and both me and my mother were touched. 3. When Samuele’s father knew Cefalù is our last stop, he was so kind and generous to allow us to keep our luggages in the house for couple of hours more so we don’t need to worry about storage and got maximum flexibility for our schedule. 4. They also gave the exact location of free and safe parking lots advice. 5. The room was very clean and much better than from the picture. Big, delicate, feel right at home. Super recommend. Thank you both!

Beautiful home with an abundance of orange and lemon trees as well as a short walk to the beach. What else could you wish from a place like this?

Wir waren im Juli 2024 in Mondello und hatten einen traumhaften Urlaub. Die Strände und das türkisblaue Meer waren atemberaubend schön. Die Ferienwohnung unserer Gastgeberin Gabriella war genauso schön wie auf den Bildern, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Terrasse spendet tagsüber Schatten und lädt abends zu einem Glas Wein ein – einfach wunderschön. Gabriella ist eine herzliche und liebevolle Gastgeberin, die immer telefonisch erreichbar ist. Ein besonderes Erlebnis war, als uns mitten in der Nacht die Haustür zugefallen ist und der Schlüssel von innen steckte. Wir riefen Gabriella an, und ihr Ehemann kam sofort, um uns zu helfen. Dafür sind wir sehr dankbar. Auch bei Fragen und mit nützlichen Tipps war Gabriella immer zur Stelle. Wir haben uns bei ihr sehr wohl gefühlt – besser geht es nicht. Vielen Dank, Gabriella, für diesen unvergesslichen, schönen Urlaub! Grazie mille ♡♡♡

Wir, 3 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager, haben den Aufenthalt in Robertos Haus in vollen Zügen genossen. Haus, Pool und Gartenanlage liegen auf verschiedenen Ebenen und geben dem gesamten Komplex einen ganz besonderen Charme. Die Aussicht auf das Meer ist grandios, der Abstieg ins Meer über eine Leiter ebenfalls. Wir wurden von verschiedenen Fischschwärmen begrüßt. Schnorcheln vor der "Haustür" lohnt sich! Wir danken Roberto für die hervorragende Betreuung während unseren Aufenthaltes und schicken herzliche Grüße nach Sizilien

An amazing getaway! A pristine, rustic, and cozy sicilian home nestled in a citrus and olive orchard with a 200 meter walk to the beach. Quiet, except for the birds and the occasional car. Full kitchen to cook what you learned at at a local cooking class and a great family run restaruant an few minutes walk away. Close to main roads for adventures out and a train station about a kilometer away if you prefer. The host was friendly and helpful with recomendations and understanding Sicily if it is your first time. He spoke English very well and a variety of other languages. This was a great location to live and breathe Sicillian culture and to have a quiet place to rest. Overall an amazing countryside stay that was still close to Cefalu and Palermo. Highly recommended!

Location or home and responsiveness of host does not get any better. In my opinion the home could use some kitchen and other general updates to make the stay more enjoyable. However I would book again for the current price without the updates.

We absolutely loved our stay at Antonio’s place. The location is perfect, if you want to be in the center of town. The views are incredible; looking on to the Piazza del Duomo. The apartment is very roomy and decorated with original watercolor paintings, historic prints and unique personal touches. The beds were a bit firm for us, but the living room furniture was comfortable with natural light from the small terrace, where we ate meals and watched people below. The Duomo pastry shop down the street was perfect for a relaxing cappuccino in the sunny piazza. We loved the relaxed feel of the town and residents. Antonio was an awesome host, accommodating our requests and offering great suggestions for restaurants; always responding very quickly to our needs. We would highly recommend Antonio’s place to other travelers.

I was trying to learn Italian at Solemar Academy and Frederico’s apartment was wonderful. He offered to collect me from Palermo so check in very easy. The apartment was perfect for me - with a little balcony so I could see the sea and a washing line! I love swimming so I could stroll easily down to the beach. It is a beautiful old area with lots of shops and nice restaurants. Frederico sent me lots of suggestions of places to eat which was really helpful. He also provided bottle water and coffee for the coffee machine = perfect colazione after a morning swim, sitting on the balcony. Grazie mille Frederico!

Francesco’s place was perfect for our stay in Cefalù. He was very responsive to any questions we had. The view from the rooftop might just be the best in Cefalù. The airbnb was decorated beautifully with loads of Sicilian character. We really appreciated the comfortable beds as we have experienced quite the opposite at different airbnb stays in the past. If we find our way back to Cefalù, we would definitely stay here again.

Wir mussten unsere Reise nach Palermo leider aufgrund einer Krankheit unserer Tochter abbrechen, bevor wir ankamen. Enrico war absolut freundlich und verständnisvoll, hat mehrfach betont, dass wir uns um unsere Tochter und nicht um ihn kümmern sollen. Wir waren Enrico unheimlich dankbar für diese freundlichen Nachrichten und wollen unsere Reise in sein Apartment unbedingt nachholen. Auch im Vorhinein war Enrico total hilfsbereit und flexibel und hat alle unsere Fragen immer sehr zuvorkommend beantwortet. Er hat sogar für uns nachgeguckt, ob noch Strandspielzeug in der Wohnung liegt:) Unserer Vorfreude war dank Enrico riesengroß. Ich hoffe, es klappt nächstes Jahr mit unserer Reise.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s apartment! We enjoyed the ocean view and how easy it was to get around. It is very well located and had everything we needed. Maria left us a bottle of wine too! Such a nice touch. We hope to return someday!

Santo è un super host! Gentilissimo e disponibile!! La casa era impeccabile. Nuova, curata nel dettaglio, pulitissima e dotata di ogni comfort. Posizione eccellente. Eravamo con una bambina di un anno e Santo ci ha fornito seggiolone e lettino da campeggio. Inoltre Santo ci ha consigliato degli ottimi ristoranti dove mangiare.. :) Super consigliato!!! I highly recommend Francesco’s flat if you’re staying in Cefalù. The location is amazing and very walkable: just 2 minutes to the Duomo, the beach, and several great restaurants. (It would be a pain to have a car in city center, so walkability is important.) The flat is cute and very clean. It has so many thoughtful details that not every Airbnb has, like a fully stocked kitchen and beach equipment. I didn’t bring my kids, but I noted how kid-friendly it was. Our favorite part was the balcony where we drank wine and watched the sun set over the ocean. Francesco was proactive and responsive. Be provided great recommendations and was available for questions. I highly recommend the flat and would stay there again!
