Ottimo alloggio, grande e spazioso completo di tutto come essere a casa. Facilità di parcheggio nei pressi e comodità per girare la città a piedi. Valeria molto disponibile sia per arrivo e partenza, indicazioni chiare e sempre reperibile per emergenza. Esperienza da ripetere, molto consigliato.

This is a wonderful Airbnb in a former palace. We had a suite of rooms that were spacious and beautifully decorated. Part of the palace houses a ceramics artist and nearby are many stores that sell Castiglione's famous ceramics. Our Airbnb was next to the great piazza at the basilica of San Giuliano behind which are the famous 142 steps with ceramic panels on the step risers. Tina was gracious and accomidating. She told us about the Easter festival occurring right behind the piazza and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. Our kitchen had a very nice coffee machine, a big refrigerator and lots of counter space. Tina even brought us some breakfast pastries, had water, milk and juice in the refrigerator. This was a very special place and I wish we had more time to spend another night there!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Salvo et Denise, ils étaient très réactifs en cas de besoin. Le logement était impeccablement propre, je recommande vivement ce logement avec ses hôtes adorables.

Er stayed only one night in this B&B. It is very nicely located and ideal to visit the villa romana. The check-in was easy, although we do not speak Italien.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich super schön, alte Keramische Böden und super Aussicht. Die Lage ist toll und ruhig. Wir sagen gern klein, aber fein und das ist Mega wert.

We really enjoyed our one week stay at Rosanna and Gaetano's 'ranch-style' house, which is low slung and sits in a generous olive tree grove, with a wrap-around terrace that offers shady seating areas. The house accommodates up to six people, and could accommodate a family of four very generously, though we were only two, so the place space felt huge. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower after a morning at the sandy beach, about 1 mile from the house. The surrounding countryside is arid (July) and evocative. Rosanna and Gaetano were perfect hosts, extremely welcoming and responsive throughout. We speak hardly any Italian and we speak hardly any English but we managed to communicate fine. They twice dropped off fresh pastries, were very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and when our return flight was cancelled they were flexible about letting us stay for a couple more nights. A great place with great hosts!

Laura nous a très bien accueillis : elle est venue nous chercher au parking à l’entrée de la ville pour nous conduire à l’appartement. Elle nous a donné des informations utiles pour découvrir la ville. L’appartement était propre et très bien équipé. Je recommande vivement!

Roberto was een fijne gastheer. We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad. Het huis was meer dan compleet en schoon. Alles was aanwezig. Biertjes en wijn en water stonden voor ons klaar. Het zwembad was een topper. Er was een douche met toilet en een keukentje met koelkast aanwezig. Roberto nodigde ons uit voor een lunch wat heel gezellig was. Het grote nadeel was de drukke weg langs het huis. Jammer dat het winkeltje op 50 m afstand gesloten was. Omgeving tips: Ragusa Ibla, Siracusa Ortigia zijn erg leuk om te bezoeken. Roberto en Rita bedankt we hebben genoten. Dini, Ben, Bernard en Ludwien.

Hier erhält man einen wunderbaren Einblick, wie Einwohner der Altstadt in Gangi über mehrere Etagen wohnen. Die Wohnung wurde mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Hier ist jedes Bild und jedes Einrichtungsstück an seinem Platz. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man eine private Wohnung nutzt. Jetzt im November haben wir den Ofen genutzt. Man hat von der Terrasse einen tollen Blick. Wer in Gangi und in dieser Wohnung übernachtet erlebt Sizilien. Wir haben uns für drei Nächte sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer mit dem Auto anreist sollte Verständnis haben, dass man nicht bis vor die Haustür fahren kann. Es gibt Parkplätze bei der Schule, die kostenfrei sind. Von hier läuft man 5 bis 7 Minuten durch die Altstadt zur Wohnung. Wir hatten Rucksäcke. Rollkoffer sind auf dem alten Pflaster und mit Treppensteigen nicht empfehlenswert. Die Kommunikation war immer freundlich und schnell. Sehr unproblematisch. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

We had a wonderful stay at Francesco’s home. The house is old fashioned and reminded us of classic Italy country. Francesco was extremely communicative and responded at all hours of the night to help with finding the home and solving problems for us.

A truly wonderful place. A beautiful home nestled among an incredible landscape. It really did feel like a home from home. The 3 dogs were gorgeous and a definite highlight of the place. Guilio was a great and responsive host. Would definitely recommend

Kleine, sehr stilvolle und gut ausgerüstete Wohnung. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Antonella ist eine sehr aufmerksame und flexible Gastgeberin.

A perfect listing in a perfect location right at the center of one of the most beautiful Barocco villages of Southern Sicily. Comfortable beds, AC in both rooms, each with an brand new ensuite bathroom and great walk-in showers. Of course, there is no living room in the apartment, and the kitchen is a bit dark, although completely renovated and convenient, but honestly, there are plenty of bats and great typical restaurants at the foot of the building, so nobody wants to stay inside, when visiting Caltagirone and the surroundings. Stefano is a very helpful and gracious host. I strongly recommend!

It's not often that one can stay at a historic villa surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The location is so peaceful and only a short drive into town. The interiors of the house are tastefully furnished, spacious and comfortable. Vicenzo is the most welcoming AirBnB host I have ever met. He met us in person, showed us around the grounds and house and gave recommendations. It was a joy chatting with him.

Massimo und Familie waren sehr hilfsbereit und immer da, wenn man etwas brauchte. Wir haben die großartige Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit genossen. Die große Wohnung hat eine riesige schattige Terrasse mit Blick direkt aufs Meer. Die Treppe runter führt zu einem wunderbaren Sandstrand, der selbst Ende Juli sehr ruhig und fast einsam war. Nur am Wochenende wurde es etwas lebhafter. Ein fantastischer Platz zum Entspannen und zum Genießen und tolle Ausflüge (mit dem Auto) in die Umgebung zu machen. Auf der anderen Seite des Hauses ein schöner gemütlicher Gartenplatz der auch genutzt werden kann, wo die Familie an unserem letzten Abend, für uns ein „amazing barbeque“ ausgerichtet hat, das war sooo nett. Danke noch einmal dafür und für alles. Wir haben unsere Zeit in Manfria sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Gerd, Maike und Nina
