Brenda, Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to rent grits! We had a great time even though we had a good bit of rain. Your place was beautiful! The trails were great especially since you could jump on the trail within minutes! Thank you for being so responsive to any issues that I had due to the storms! The whole house generator was a savior!!! The pictures of your place don’t do it justice! It was perfect.

Steve and Dana are wonderful hosts. We absolutely love this place and they keep it very clean and even remodeled the kitchen- which looks beautiful! They always have it clean and stocked. One of the main attractions aside of the beautiful cabin and secluded location, is Dana’s blueberry desert or breakfast dish she makes and leaves in the cabin fridge for you upon your arrival! This is our favorite cabin away from home.

Very relaxing! A retreat away from society. There was a problem with the oven. We messages Steve and he immediately responded. He scheduled a time to come look and fix it and he brought a replacement counter oven when the problem wasn’t fixable. He was so nice and friendly!

A quiet and peaceful oasis was what I wanted for my birthday, and that’s exactly what this location was. It felt secluded with an amazing view of the lake that we were able watch to unwind and spend time as a family. The biggest draw initially was the hot tub, but we didn’t even end up using it as the location was just so relaxing already. There was a large sign for the cabin just before the driveway so it was easy to find, and Dale Hollow Pizza was a no-stress dinner with great food and plenty of leftovers. Very grateful to this host for sharing such a wonderful location with Airbnb. We were not disturbed at all by any neighbors, so I imagine if you’re a polite, decent, and respectful guest that you won’t see anyone in the area unless you choose to. Very happy with how peaceful and quiet this area is.

The cabin was perfect. The view was amazing and the property was peaceful. Check out the river access trail at the end of the road. I do recommend driving unless you want some incline training. Hammock was perfect for a nap. There was a nasty storm with high winds while we were there and Jeff came to check on us and make sure the road was clear. We stayed here to go to Cumberland Falls. We weren't familiar with the Big South Fork Recreation Area and it was amazing. We could have skipped our day at Cumberland Falls and stuck to exploring more BSF. Fantastic overlooks, rock arches, waterfalls, and all right near the cabin. Thankful for the hot tub after long days of exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay! Pictures say it all. The only hiccup we had was that the previous renters must’ve taken the welcome book and we didn’t know passwords and how to set up TV, sound system, etc ..but other than that it all went smoothly and a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the lake

My father and I booked a visit to Chris and Misty’s place for his 70th birthday and to visit my brother who lives nearby. It was exactly what we were looking for after a stressful holiday season for me. Peace and quiet and taking in nature. We happened to pick the coldest week of the year in Tennessee. Which even with the cold we still enjoyed or trip. This place is remote but not so remote that there were not things to do in the area. Chris was very helpful with a list of suggestions of places to check out. Also there was a small problem with the heat in the cabin. Chris was super responsive and sent someone out to check on the problem right away. They were very dog friendly. As I have a 1 year old golden doodle and a 16 year old shitzu and I don’t like to travel without my dogs. Overall it was a great choice for us and I’d highly recommend their place. We’d love to stay again. Maybe next time when it’s not so cold.

The host was great! Although she had a last minute mishap with the house she did everything possible to get it ready for us!

Perfect fishing cabin for Dale Hollow

This was our second year staying here and look forward to our repeat visit next year, hoping to stay longer. You just can't beat the comfort of the cabin, or the attentive caring hosts, Harry and Carmen.

Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the private country setting.

Pat’s place is great for a large family. It was clean and spacious. The location is beautiful! The adults enjoyed playing the games provided downstairs.

Amazing! So beautiful and clean as well as Jackie being so friendly and responsive!

A beautiful gem away from the busyness of the world. We saw lots of wild life including elk, deer and turkeys. It was convenient for what we needed and offered a great place to relax. We’ll be back in the near future!
