We had a wonderful stay while visiting family! Kelli was a wonderful host. This place was perfect for our family of four! Convenient location while also very private. Great quiet getaway in the mountains.

Wonderful place to stay, the room was spotless and well appointed, exactly as pictured. We came to the area to ride the outlaw trails and check out Dingess tunnel, the location was perfect for both. Our hostess was responsive and extremely helpful!

Great location, you can see the main road between Pikeville and Prestonsburg. Everything was as it was described, it was very clean and cozy. Prefect for two people. The host was nothing more than great and communicated great. If you’re in this area it’s well worth the price the host is asking. I travel a lot with my job and it was awesome to come to a place that felt cozy like coming home after work. Awesome place give it a try if you’re in the area.

If you decide to explore Breaks Interstate Park and the Crooked Road, consider staying at this newly renovated apartment in Virginia. The ground-level accommodations (very comfortable) feature a spacious bedroom with two queen-size beds, a kitchenette with seating area, and a bathroom with shower and washer-dryer. The location, which overlooks a river and rolling hills, is only 8 miles from Virginia’s “Grand Canyon.” The Crooked Road leads visitors to attractions including the Ralph Stanley Museum, the Carter Family Fold, and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. Our host was welcoming and eager to meet our needs. The town of Haysi, Virginia, offers a small grocery store, restaurants, shops, and a gas station. We would certainly consider staying there again.

We fully enjoyed staying at Amanda’s place. We especially loved the layout and how clean everything was. Little things such as snacks, plenty of towels and linens, and the wifi password in multiple locations were great extra amenities. We stayed 3 nights and ate within walking distance every evening. We found Matewan to be a great little town with very friendly people!

Nice to have an option for a place close to restaurants in the area. The check in and out instructions were detailed and easy. I will definitely check to see if this home is available when I travel to the area next.

We had a fantastic stay at Hilltop house! The home is spacious and clean with all the amenities you could need. Perfect for our group to relax after enjoying the local trails. Matt and Jodina were very helpful and answered all questions in a timely matter, absolutely wonderful host.

Beth's place is unique compared with different houses in Matewan. One of the best thing about this house is the firepit outside that you can enjoy after a long dirtbike trip. Thank you!
