This A-frame cabin was well worth the stay. The space was well designed, clean, well organized, and thoughtfully decorated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience. The interior was cozy, with new and comfortable furniture. The glass design at the front of the house allowed plenty of natural light to fill the space during the day, while also offering stunning views of the surrounding nature. The peaceful environment made it easy to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and completely relax. Overall, this A-frame cabin exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect balance of comfort and tranquility, making it an excellent choice for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved our experience! Hot tub worked well, sitting out back was so serene and peaceful, saw lots of wildlife in the area. Home itself is clean and cozy, we enjoyed watching movies by the fire.

We enjoyed our stay at Altitude Adjustment! The drive to the cabin was easy for our AWD Hyundai Kona to make in good weather. The short distance of gravel that we had to travel was well packed and had good traction. Check-in was super easy and Zach was able flexible with check-in time for us. We had two questions during our stay and Zach was quick and courteous with responses.The pictures and description of cabin are accurate, except I was happy to see the stove had been updated to a flat top and there is a newer Keuirg than seen in the kitchen pics. I found the notebook provided by the host to be very helpful. I would read it at the start of your stay as suggested by the host. The views from the deck, fire pit, and hot tub did not disappoint! Though you are in a community, it is easy to feel like you're the only ones on the mountain. Would not recommend for elderly or those with trouble climbing stairs. Perfect for couples and small families!

This cabin was a perfect weekend getaway. It was pretty private and the trails and creek were lovely. The hot tub was nice to relax in and the location of the cabin made it easy to visit some local wineries. We hope to be back soon!

Lovely cabin home, matching decor, fully stocked, comfy mattresses, and great amenities. Felt private but was close to extracurricular activities we had planned (spa, winery, steakhouse). Enjoyed the hot tub and wanted to have smores at the firepit (compliments of the host!) but the windy weather made a fire unsafe. Maybe next time!

We enjoyed our cozy stay at the creekside cabin. We especially enjoyed our visits from the adaborable and sweet kitty Zoey. Having her there made us feel like we were at home. The bed was very comfortable with the fluffy pillows and soft sheets. Faith the housekeeper was very freindly and checked on us and made sure eveything was to our likeing. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to escape a busy and fast paced lifestyle. We will be back!

This is the 5th time I've stayed at this cabin, and I sincerely LOVE this place!!! My sister and I got to enjoy an inverse snow-globe experience on our stay...although I wouldn't advise anyone without really good 4WD to attempt it in the winter, it was an absolutely dream stay for my birthday!!!! Hosts were on point with everything as usual, and I can't thank them more for maintaining such a wonderful little oasis!!!

Amazing, delightful, magical, attention to detail, including quality linens, soaps, bedding, and precision craftsmanship. It's not a cabin, it's a private suite thats romantic and charming on 35 acres. The cabin is hand built and luxuriously appointed by the hosts. Stretch out, breathe the fresh air, enjoy the properties porch, rockers, swing bench, hammock, fire pit, trails, and outdoor shower. Prepare your own food (with the provided farm fresh eggs) or if you enjoy shopping, BBQ, wineries, head out to the nearby area. In the evening, enjoy the wifi, streaming TV, and a cozy fire. It doesn't get better than this! Don't forget to bring the pooch if you have one, they love it too!

I had such a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect… every morning, we got to wake up to beautiful mountain views, and the area was so peaceful. There was only one house down the street, but no one was staying there, so it truly felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and everything needed to cook a meal, which made it feel like home. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like local hiking recommendations. The bathrooms were spotless, and the linens and mattresses were super comfortable. Plus, having a Roku with a guest checkout option was a nice bonus! The host was very responsive and made everything easy. Whether you’re looking for a quiet couples’ retreat or a relaxing family getaway, I’d definitely recommend this place!

The place was great!

The property was tucked away in your own private area. It was peaceful and had beautiful scenery and surroundings. The walk to the lake was awesome. We played horseshoes by the fire every night. It was also a short drive to the race track for us. Would absolutely recommend and would return!

This place is fantastic. If you are looking for a great 1800s era cabin with modern touches in a serene and peaceful setting, the place is perfect. Great setting with all needed amenities, and a fantastic host. Will definitely repeat often!

We loved our stay at Sara's place. It was quite relaxing after having been on the road for hours. Even though it was in town, it felt like we were tucked away in the woods. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants which Sara recommended. The bed was super comfortable. The cabin and shower house didn't quite meet our cleanliness standards but considering we probably reserved an hour before arriving, it was understandable. We'd definitely reserve again.

The house was a wonderful getaway for two friends and I, with plenty of room for the three of us. The house was spacious and located in a private, gated community that felt safe and peaceful. The view of the mountains from the back patio was beautiful, and we liked spending time on the rocking chairs and enjoying the view.

This was exactly what I needed. The cabin was easy to find for how peaceful it was. It is not too far from town so making stops at local stores and restaurants was a quick trip up the road. Unfortunately the blue ridge parkway was closed during our visit but I was shocked to see when leaving the property we were only two right turns from it. It is in such a great location, tucked away but not too far from everything. The cabin itself was just as the pictures showed, there was plenty of space to stretch out in between our planned activities. You can tell the cabin was well maintained and kept clean. The recommendations left on the counter in the kitchen for local restaurants served us well, as well as the maps left us in a great spot for choosing our daily adventures! All in all when I plan on coming back up to the area I will definitely be checking here to see if the cabin is available again so that I know I have somewhere safe, secure, and private in the area to rest my head.

The Floyd EcoVillage cabin was the perfect fit for me. I needed a peaceful place to decompress, but wanted to be close to town for restaurants, etc. It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and convenient--exactly what I needed!

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

Second time quilting at Sarah’s. You will not find a more beautiful setting, wonderful hostess, or perfect quilting cabin than this place. We will definitely be back.

The cabin is rustic comfort, surrounded by a beautiful property and just a short distance from the Mayo River. This was my second visit to the cabin, and I was happy for a return stay. Comfortable beds & the fireplace are a plus.

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

We had a great stay for a family member’s birthday. William was responsive and ready to help if needed. Property is beautiful, home is well-kept with modern amenities. Hot tub was a cozy bonus! Great for relaxing quality time with loved ones.
