Shirley Ann was an amazing host! The place was impressive and extremely neat. The area is safe and amazingly beautiful. Checking in was absolutely seamless. Shirley Ann was so welcoming and always responsive. The place was super pet friendly and accommodated my German Shepherd very nicely. I would definitely want to book again!

We spent four weeks in Trish's accommodation with my partner and children. It was fantastic. We felt at home and very well looked after by the hostess. The house is lovely and very comfortable. The views were wonderful. Some days we saw giraffes and zebras in the distance and my children loved watching the monkeys jumping from tree to tree. None of us wanted to leave the house, it was one of the best finds of our trip to South Africa. We hope to return one day, thank you Trish!

Beautiful garden house with pool and ocean view. We really enjoyed working remotely from there and then relaxing in the evening or having a braai with the awesome hosts (and their lovely dogs) We had everything we needed. Total recommendation this one!

Megan’s Airbnb is spotless, well-located, and a great choice for any stay. The area is convenient, with easy access to attractions and restaurants. Megan’s communication is excellent—she provides clear, timely instructions, ensuring a smooth check-in and stay. The space is comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The place is easily accessible, making it a hassle-free experience. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Staying at The Cottage was a lovely getaway from the hustle and bustle, with everything we could need as a group of 3 staying together. The home itself was welcoming and safe, and we truly felt right at home. The verandah and garden were an added plus on sunny days when we could sit outside and eat.

Lovely view of the harbour from the veranda, and the host was also very responsive to any needs I had during my stay.

Nous avons trouvé un magnifique cottage spacieux près de l’aéroport de Virginia pour des cours à l’école de pilotage , idéal à 2 minutes . L’endroit est passible et tout ce qu il faut pour cuisiner . À 3 minutes un supermarché et plages . Le quartier est sur et les hôtes très sympathiques. Nous reviendrons si les chambres sont disponibles. Sabine et Paul et Antoine.

Me and my partner enjoyed our stay, everything was top notch and the sea view was so amazing. If we get a chance to come around Durban I’ll consider booking this place again.

David’s place was even better than the pictures… Our booking was very last minute, but David was extremely helpful. The unit was also very private!! We loved everything about the place♥️

Was a perfect little spot for a peaceful week’s stay. Particularly loved the outdoor shower and bathtub. Great place to get work done as a remote worker, wifi is fast and reliable. Felt safe and secure while staying here and much appreciated the ceiling fan plus additional floor fan to keep cool as there isn’t air-con.

Candice was an amazing host - very warm and accommodating. We had a great time here and highly recommend it!

Thank you for the stay at your cottage and assistance with the extra fence over the gate it really helped us to relax and feel at home knowing our small dogs could not get out. Our dogs are escape artists. Host is friendly, helpful and attentive. We would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway in the Durban area.

Stayed here during the lead up to my first Comrades Marathon. We immediately felt at home right away. The area is peaceful and has a great assortment of shops and restaurants which are a short walk away. The place has easy access to motorways that can get you into town or to the airport. The place has comfortable furnishings and has all the amenities you can think of. A small nitpick is that it would have been nice to have a few items like tea, coffee, sugar and salt to kick start our stay. We had to drive around a bit on our first night to search for open shops when we needed these. The hosts were very gracious and accommodating and always responded. It was really great to be able to have a friend stay over after they got stranded late at night. Overall I highly recommend this gem and hope it will be available next time we visit the city.
