Beautiful house and surroundings! Very responsive hosts. The garage turned into a huge entertainment room was really cool to hang out in. Excellent place!

Had a great 2 night stay here. Very close to the park and super easy to walk into town. Make sure to check out the Joshua Tree Saloon.

We stayed here with several couples who have traveled a lot. Everyone was very impressed by the spaciousnesses of the house, the well supplied kitchen, very comfortable beds, hot tub and setting.

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is set back from the highway and elevated with wonderful views, particularly at night from the hot tub. The stereo system is great, the place stayed nice and warm, and we slept very well. Mark was also very responsive, came to greet us when we arrived, and even helped change a burnt out headlight on our car. Overall 10/10, a really wonderful place to stay :)

I stayed here with some friends and we loved it! The decor is so fun and well done - it gives the place a great vibe that goes well with the architecture. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night and looking at the stars, watching the sun rise and set over the mountains, and the beautiful open space behind the house in general. Location-wise, it's an easy drive to the visitors center and the national park entrance or to some shops and restaurants on the main street. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in the high desert. Close enough to both Pioneertown and Joshua Tree but far enough to feel secluded. There was zero traffic noise or noise of any kind. Our stay was very windy so we missed out on a lot of the amenities but there were outside games and a hot tub and fire pit. The bed was comfortable and the linens clean and the towels were fluffy.

Super cute place with fun little hang out/ art park in the back. We enjoyed the book that explains the portals and the hottub was great. Do not that there isn't a tv, but hopefully you wont need it after a full day exploring joshua tree which is nearby and then relaxing in the hottub!

If you’re seeking an authentic J-tree experience, the Rockbound Oasis is as real as it gets! This is not a staged, cheaply-constructed corporate property managed by a hospitality group; this is a real J-tree home that is special and loved by its owners. The home has an interesting history that dates back to the middle part of last century. Its architecture/design was certainly way ahead of its time. The home was built to harmonize perfectly with the rock formations that characterize this particular area of J-tree and make it so ethereal. The interior space has a charm, warmth, comfort and soul that cannot be achieved in the sterile, white, corporate boxes that seem to have cropped up like dandelions within the last decade or so. The grounds were not designed to emulate the surrounding area, they are an integral part of the surrounding area. This is great place to reflect and experience the desert energy and power. Veronica is a one-of-a-kind host whose hospitality is unparalleled.

We liked the place so well we extended our stay! Tiger gave great instructions so we didn’t have any trouble finding the house! Great kitchen with everything needed. Nice and private. Loved the hot tub and stargazing.

Great house with a perfect location to the park and a 5 minute drive to restaurants in Joshua Tree. Highly recommend if you’re going to the park as the entrance line can get long if you arrive in the later morning.

Great location in Josuha Tree. Only a few minutes away from Josuha tree, pioneer town and also some great restaurants. At the same time very peaceful, and far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the silence.... Beautiful grounds with a variety of cactus and several jack rabbits!. The firepit is the perfect place to spend the night with family or friends, keeping warm while watching the stars at night. One recommendation, install a light near the hot tub, its very hard to make your way at night (it gets dark quick). Even a solar light would be fine, just something to kind of guide you. Be aware... there is NO TV in the living area, only the master bedroom. Not a problem for us, we were there for the outdoors, but some might also expect a family area TV at this price point. The house while beautiful is in need of some TLC. The desert does take it's toll. Overall, very happy with the stay and Tim did a fantastic job communicating. This is a great place to stay.....

Exactly as pictured, the Cowboy Cabin gave us the peace a quiet we needed on our little getaway. The cabins backyard was perfect for stargazing at night and the fire pit was perfect for the chilly night air. With just a short drive to Joshua Tree Park entrance, stores, and restaurants it is ideally located. Will stay again when back in the area!

The home was great, clean and welcoming. The backyard was perfect for morning coffee to evening sunsets. Sarah and Liz were extremely good at communicating and making sure I was comfortable.

We are very happy with our stay. Mark and Esther are very responsive. The property is beautiful and unique. I wish we could have stayed longer. If we are ever back in the area, we would love to stay here again.

Diane’s place was great! One of the most unique places that I have stayed. The house was very nice, and it was awesome staying back in the canyon. The stars at night and the quietness were some of my favorite parts. The only thing I would mention is that the dirt road to get there is rough, I would recommend a 4wd vehicle

Fully fenced beautiful place. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook with while I stayed my week. I came to visit my grandson who is going to Calvery Bible College . It's easy to get to town to go to the restaurants and a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. Highly recommended it.

I cannot say enough about the experience that my wife and I enjoyed in this beautiful and unique property. From the time of preparation to the time of arrival and departure, the hosts were absolutely wonderful in every respect. This would have to go down as our single best Airbnb stay that we've ever had. When I look at the experience we had with the host, the property itself, the location, and the joy we had in staying near such a beautiful national park as Joshua tree. I hope we can come back again next year and relive this adventure!

This place is a gem! We had a lovely time here. The property is great, beautiful pool and outdoor space. The house was so cute and cozy. We had everything we needed right there! And the neighborhood is awesome, the house is walking distance to 29 Palms Inn and several other local businesses, and very close to the park. Ron was a great host, very responsive and kind. Check in and check out was very simple. We had a marvelous time and we’ll certainly be back!

The holiday house is the perfect remote getaway. You'll find everything you need to make an amazing meal in the kitchen. You can get lost in the beautiful art all around the gardens and inside the house. The 360° views of the landscape are absolutely breathtaking and the night sky is otherworldly. This is by far my favorite stay out in the high desert.

Truly one of the best airbnb stays I have had. Brian’s unique desert home comfortably accommodated our multigenerational family, including our baby (14 months) and grandparents (late 70s). The open layout was really nice and allowed us all to sprawl out and move around easily while being together. Super peaceful surroundings and pretty quick access to Joshua Tree attractions. Will recommend this home to friends for sure!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Bianca & Clint’s. The home/outdoor space are beautiful and full of amenities. A convenient walk to the shops in JT, and just a few minutes drive to the park.

Spent three wonderful days in the Joshua Tree area to escape the busy pace of LA, and this place was perfect for a relaxing retreat. The house is cozy and well-maintained, offering a peaceful atmosphere after a day of exploring. It's also in a great location—near good restaurants, charming little shops, and just a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park. Heike was a fantastic host, always quick to respond to any questions we had and making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable base to explore Joshua tree/ Yucca Valley area. I’d definitely stay here again!
