Peggy took us in last minute (and very late!) as the Airbnb we had initially booked didn’t work out with my special needs kiddo, we’re on a long haul road trip from CA — VA, This place felt right at home and we all slept so good! The place was clean with cute little additions and decor. The toothbrushes and toothpaste was a great touch for those of us who are always forgetting things! We felt safe and it was so quiet! We really appreciated the stay and plan to come back and actually enjoy the place longer than a 1 night stay!!!

Me and my family six adults two children, one under 6 the other under two had an absolute fantastic time. The home has movies and games that you can sit down and enjoy in the evening. There's a volleyball net outside as well as children's toys. The property is absolutely stunning and we loved every minute of our stay. I can guarantee you we will be booking this again for years to come.

My only complaint is theirs a wasp nest somewhere in the house and the closet door was broken. Other than that we’re pleasantly please with our stay and considering doing it again next time when we’re down that way

we stayed at dyane's place for a fishing weekend with family and friends. the house was great, Big and just as described and the sunset was the best we could ask for. It was amazing. the house was nice and clean, no bugs at all. there was plenty of things to cook with and plenty of coffee for the kureg. We enjoyed the place and look forward to coming back. the only downfall was the garage isn't big enough to park the boats in overnight but we were able to park 2 boats and trucks long ways in the driveway. like I said it's a great place and we highly recommend. the dock was nice for my wife and baby to fish on. we didn't use the slip but there is a slip to put your boat in also.

Troy's place was very warm and friendly. Plenty of room and the kids absolutely loved the Ping Pong/Pool Table! Watching the cows in the morning while sipping coffe was very relaxing and it was close to the downtown area for activities!

Kirk’s place is exactly as described. We went during a cold snap and it was very comfortable. The fireplace made it very inviting. The host is very responsive, even before booking. It is good to note that the home is also good if you have any wheelchair guests with you. The kitchen is also very well equipped, we had everything we needed. The view of the lake is peaceful. Perfect for birdwatching during the day and stargazing at night. I can imagine it would be beautiful during spring and summer.

Carmen made our Thanksgiving stay unforgettable! She went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, from festive decorations to a welcome basket with seasonal treats. Her warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and we couldn't have asked for a better host. Highly recommend!

One of the best family vacations we have had! We enjoyed coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake every morning. During the day our whole family played in the lake on the foam float, kayak, paddle board and paddleboat. The dock was a huge hit with the kids as we spent a great deal of time fishing, feeding the ducks and turtles. At night we made s’mores over the fire pit by the lake. We felt like this was our own private lake most days with the beautiful smooth water. Brent and J.C. are the best hosts and we can’t wait for our next trip here!
