Our one night stay turned into a three night stop, so wow-ed were we by this magnificent historic building and the way in which it has been modernised while retaining so many original features. It has everything you could wish for, and more, for a stay as a couple or up to a group of 24. The indoor and extensive outdoor spaces have been carefully planned and generously equipped. There are garden toys, sports equipment, a dressing up box, an array of table-top games, a chess set, as well as a piano, pool table, air-hockey rink and table-football. The library has something for every taste, and there is no way anyone or any age could be bored. The general store is about 2 mins walk away and has everything from bread, milk, eggs, fresh fruit and veg to tools and horseshoes ($6.50 a pair, by the way). Lovely, friendly lady working there. Butch Cassidy's birthplace is just out of town and it's easy to reach National Parks Bryce and Zion. The Grand Canyon is 3 hours away. Loved our stay !

Had an amazing stay over Thanksgiving. The house is so nicely provisioned for cooking and relaxing, the wood burning stove was effective and fun (there is central heat/air as well). We stayed here as our home base for exploring Bryce and Capitol Reef national parks and it was perfect. We would definitely stay again.

Mike was always quick to respond to whatever questions we had. Our family went to the Koosh cabins for a Father’s Day fishing trip and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Plenty of room, and a perfect spot to get to the surrounding lakes. Thanks again for a great weekend Mike! 🤙

Our family stayed here and had a great experience. The home was comfortable and clean. There was enough space for us and our kids. It was a good location for us to stay and visit Capitol reef, Fremont Indian state park, Monroe hot springs, and big rock candy mountain.

We loved our stay and Sarah was an incredible host. Great ski in ski out location, house was spotless with everything you could think of to feel at home. Stocked reading nook, drawing desk with supplies, ping pong table, multiple TVs, WiFi, and everything you need in the kitchen. Peaceful and beautiful location. Decorated so well and totally free of any clutter. Best Airbnb experience. Can’t wait to book again next year.

This is our fourth time staying at the Ladder Haus. We've rented several other cabins on the mountain and this is our hands-down favorite. It's ski in-ski out on the beginner ski hill. Everybody can easily access the house during their ski day. We are often on the first chair of the day, and the first down many runs. So awesome! This house is designed really well for families. The kids love the loft. There is a great assortment of board games, and fun toddler toys like a little car and boat. They have an XBox, nice TV, and an "old fashioned" TV with a VCR. They have a big bean bag pillow that our kids also love. All the cousins sleep upstairs. Meanwhile, the adults can be on the main floor, making meals, playing our own games, and visiting. The kitchen is well stocked and great for big meals. There are racks to hang wet ski gear, and good flooring for ski boots. It's not too fancy, just really comfortable. Karl is quick to answer all questions. It's one of our favorite places ever!

The house was clean and in a great location. There was no pull out bed with the sofa that was listed which was a bummer. Once the fire place gets going the house stays extremely warm. Toys and games for kids to play with along with sleds which was great! Overall we had a really good time! I would recommend brining a humidifier to use while you stay though, the air was very dry from the wood stove but it didn’t ruin our trip, just might be helpful for the next guest! This cabin is fantastic! It is very spacious and well set up for many guests. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need. The ski in/ski out access is very convenient and the host is amazing. 10/10 will definitely stay again.

We went to snowboard. It was a great location and easy to get in to. To bad the snow was not great this yeat but we love Egale Point. Hope for a better year and more snow for them

Love Valerie’s place. I wish there were more options in fish lake so it wasn’t so expensive but she is a great host and the house accommodates many.
