Very quiet place. The place is old but well cared for. It was just what we needed after living hectic schedules. Very beautiful surroundings.

This is our fourth time staying at the Ladder Haus. We've rented several other cabins on the mountain and this is our hands-down favorite. It's ski in-ski out on the beginner ski hill. Everybody can easily access the house during their ski day. We are often on the first chair of the day, and the first down many runs. So awesome! This house is designed really well for families. The kids love the loft. There is a great assortment of board games, and fun toddler toys like a little car and boat. They have an XBox, nice TV, and an "old fashioned" TV with a VCR. They have a big bean bag pillow that our kids also love. All the cousins sleep upstairs. Meanwhile, the adults can be on the main floor, making meals, playing our own games, and visiting. The kitchen is well stocked and great for big meals. There are racks to hang wet ski gear, and good flooring for ski boots. It's not too fancy, just really comfortable. Karl is quick to answer all questions. It's one of our favorite places ever!

We had nine in our group. We booked the reservation and from that point from booking onward everything worked out perfectly. The place was better and more convenient than we had expected. The kitchen area was amazing! The front room area allowed for us to sit and talk and play games with plenty of space. Family room towards the back was a surprise and a delight. Very spacious and set up to make our stay fun and comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate. We had a chance to meet and talk with Abigail while we were there. She was so nice and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay there. We will definitely book this again!

The house was clean and in a great location. There was no pull out bed with the sofa that was listed which was a bummer. Once the fire place gets going the house stays extremely warm. Toys and games for kids to play with along with sleds which was great! Overall we had a really good time! I would recommend brining a humidifier to use while you stay though, the air was very dry from the wood stove but it didn’t ruin our trip, just might be helpful for the next guest! This cabin was amazing to say the least. We stayed here for my 40th birthday and could not have stayed at a better place. Kristen was super responsive and added a little happy birthday gesture at check in. We enjoyed how spotless the cabin was with extra blankets, comfy beds along with a well stocked kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, as we all wonder if there is going to be enough cookware when you travel. The cabin is only 50 feet from the run so is definitely a ski in ski out. The cabin also had a fire pit that we definitely utilized (Bring your own wood). We will definitely be returning next year for our annual birthday trip. Pictures don’t do it justice.. Don’t think just book!

Awesome location within sight of one of the lift chairs and short walk to the lodge. John was a great host and very responsive. The condo could use some updated furniture and some of the beds in the loft were uncomfortable. Overall a great stay!

Staying at Kristi's place was the perfect getaway destination for my family, and she is the perfect host. The property is peaceful and private. The porch area is perfect for enjoying mornings and evenings. There was more than ample outdoor space, with plenty of land for the kids to explore. The house was very clean, providing what we needed for a comfortable stay. We can't thank Kristi enough for her hospitality and for providing a home for our family vacation. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We look forward to returning for another visit in the future!

This cabin is fantastic! It is very spacious and well set up for many guests. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you need. The ski in/ski out access is very convenient and the host is amazing. 10/10 will definitely stay again.
