Cynthia and Bills home was incredible. It was about $200 cheaper to stay at their place than any of the surrounding hotels (and their place was much nicer)! I grew up in Placerville and knew the area fairly well so it was not hard to find. The GPS takes you directly to their home. I will be staying here again. If you are looking to stay here, please do, you will not be disappointed! The bed was extremely comfortable, room was clean and smelled nice. Everything felt like home!

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

Me and my partner spent our anniversary here and it was more than perfect! We were looking to get away from the city and this checked all the boxes and then some! We arrived at night and our host even had a fire started for us it was the perfect check-in! We also happened to fall in love with the town we stayed in, the couple times we went into town the atmosphere felt so welcoming! Truly a beautiful place to stay at, thank you Libby!💐

This place was the perfect place to stay at after a wedding close by. It was cozy and very quiet after an eventful day. There was a brewery, winery and the stores were only a 10 min drive away if we needed anything! Michelle was friendly, quick to respond and had the place warmed up before we got there! Super appreciative of that! We would definitely stay here again on our next getaway!

We stayed her for just one night after a local event we were attending. It was a beautiful home & I wish we could have stayed longer. The host was also kind enough to give us a late check-out so we didn’t have to rush out.

Loved the home arrived and our driveway was clear of snow and so was the walkway into the home. Heater kept the home warm, backyard is huge lots to do!

We can't wait to return to Mela Manor and feel fortunate to have spent the most amazing, long weekend there. The views out the kitchen windows while cooking with family were magnificent and made cleaning up enjoyable. Every detail has been thought of in accommodating guests. We had our adult children and 5 grandchildren (ages 3-10) there celebrating our anniversary and the house brought more than we could have hoped for in love, laughter and relaxation. The house is warm and spacious. Everyone slept comfortably in the well done bedrooms and the coffee bar was a huge hit. Was fun to look out the window and see the kids playing catch and chasing each other on the back lawn. Mara and Michael are thoughtful and responsive hosts. I see myself daydreaming about the perfect time we had, for quite a while.

Larry is a great, easy-going guy. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He is willing to give you all the privacy you need or is happy to hang out and talk.

This place is amazing! Tevis and Darien are incredibly hospitable and make you feel right at home. The Shangri La lounge and healing center is both tranquil and fun, perfect for both relaxation and adventure. There are trails full of beautiful scenery. Old Town Auburn is minutes away. Lake Tahoe is a short drive. The interior decor is fun, eclectic and charming- with just the right mix of everything, a slightly safari themed, relaxing retreat center filled with Darien's wonderful artwork. I'd definitely stay again.

Great cabin! Comfortable, easy to reach location, well appointed. Loved the hot tub and fire table with the fenced in yard which is great to have when staying with a dog. Fast wifi and large tv’s in every room. Only small downside is it doesn’t feel very private with how close the owner’s guesthouse is to the main cabin. But still loved the property and would stay again.
