Absolutely loved this unique place! So peaceful and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces just as much as the inside. It was quiet and clean and just a great place to unwind. Rosa was super helpful. We definitely plan to be back!

Stayed four nights. Had a fire in the fire pit each night. Wood was delivered each day. The yurt was clean and spacious for the four adults. Beautiful views! So Relaxing and peaceful. Loved it!

Second stay at the yurt and much like the first time, it did not disappoint! Everything is as advertised. Very peaceful! The absolute best thing about it is no TV and no Internet (aside from all of the other great things)! It remains at the top of my list when visiting the Ozark/Altus area!

Yurt is cute but one should consider this camping not glamping. The yurt does not have air unless you open the windows. It does have a wood stove but it was warm enough that I didn't need it. There is bathroom with shower and toilet located in the hosts house. It has a private entrance and there is outlets for you to charge your phone ect. The hosts have set up instructions for building a fire. You can gather your own wood or use the hosts for $9. There is a large cooler provided so bring ice and groceries. Bring a lighter and a sleeping bag as well. Because we are so close to Afton local spots, I used the restaurants for my meals. Blue ridge tunnel and parkway is right up the road! This spot is a great location! Mary is a responsible and very helpful hostess! She also provides breakfast for an extra charge.

Loved this cozy cabin! Easy walk to the ski resort, & coffee shop. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults and our fur baby. Cabin was super close to the ski resort and centrally located to every restaurant, coffee shop & store we had on our bucket list to visit in Beech Mountain. . The view & sound of the creek was an added bonus . The gated wrap around deck / porch was my fav part of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and hosts were super detailed with directions & instructions . Hosts had super clear communication and gave fantastic local recommendations. 10 out of 10 recommend & hoping to book again for next year’s trip!

Rodney was incredibly friendly and always responded very quickly. The yurt was absolutely wonderful. The view was spectacular and very peaceful. I loved hearing a rooster crowing in the distance. I loved that there was no outdoor noise other than nature singing. The inside was so very clean: from the linens, towels, floor, everything. I highly recommend anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to visit the yurt. I only wish that I could have stayed longer.

We were in need of a peaceful getaway, and this Airbnb was exactly what we needed. Tucked away in a secluded area and surrounded by nature, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The scenery was beautiful, quiet, and calming—just what our hearts needed. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy some real peace.

We had a wonderful stay at Cair Paravel. The Yurt was exactly as expected plus some! There were toys, books and movies for all ages. It did get cold outside at night but the split unit did a great job heating the space. The property was so beautiful and felt very private. We loved getting to feed the animal compost every morning and had a wonderful farm tour with Madi, highly recommend! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

A must experience Airbnb! The yurt was cozy and had all the comforts of home. Glamping at it's finest. Full bathroom, outdoor kitchen (grill, sink, tables) and AC! The property is so cute. A creek and garden and plenty of trees for your hammock. I loved it here and will definitely be back. Also really loved that staying here supports a nonprofit organization to help children with cancer. Lots of hiking near by and the Folk School is 3 minutes down the road, also close to all the lakes and rivers. If you are thinking of booking, do it!

My family loved staying at Bill’s yurt! Hiking on a trail, be reclusive, spending a unique time together. Well worth it. Highly recommend to anyone. Bill was very responsive and made the place feel like home with special touches.

The hosts were amazing. The description is accurate and the place is perfect to disconnect and enjoy nature. We did it as a father/son trip and it was just what we needed. We will be back!

Unfortunately I had family emergency's come up when i was supposed to stay with shannon ! She was communicative when i did have questions !

This is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Melissa was a great host and provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The yurt is well stocked and you can tell that they care about providing a great experience for guests. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful nature surrounding the yurt. I highly recommend!

Very quiet and secluded. Artfully decorated. Creek was dry but forest sounds made up for it. Ryan was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Hot water heater was a little finicky, but the bath house provides a great camping feel. We would highly recommend this place for a couple looking to slow down and relax for a while!

Our stay was wonderful!! The Yurt definitely exceeded our expectations. We loved the decorations and the small touches that really made it feel like home. The surrounding area was beautiful and full of lots of amazing hikes. We were able to bring our dog, Bleu, which was a big bonus and he loved every minute of it. William was incredibly helpful whenever we had questions and really helped make our stay wonderful. We were definitely sad to leave but can't wait to come back!

This place is truly spectacular. Stunning views and extremely peaceful. We only had time to stay for one night, but wish we could've stayed longer. This was our first time staying in a yurt and it exceeded our expectations. The place was exceptionally clean and cozy. Arson was an excellent host and was very responsive and provided clear instructions on how to get to the yurt. Would highly recommend this place to any of our friends or family!

Absolutely loved the Yurt! The hosts directions to find the location were easy to follow and clear - despite the private and out of the way location. We loved how private the yurt itself was. Everything was exactly the way it was described with the yurt being supplied with everything we could possibly need. Thank you to the host for a wonderful and relaxing experience!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Mary's yurt. The yurt itself is private and cozy with lots of modern amenities inside. It has beautiful views of the Shenendoah mountains, which you can enjoy from the large wrap around deck and hot tub. Mary was very responsive and she provided great local recommendations. She even left out thoughtful gifts for my daughter for each day we stayed there.

The yurt was very peaceful and put together well. A little chilly, but that’s all part of the experience! There were crystals everywhere which was a cool touch- also the hammock was very comfortable it was an envoy. Maybe just add one more heater! It was still cozy and they had an electric blanket and one heater which was nice. The gas grill was great too.

We stayed here the night before heading out on the AT. Great location close to the NOC. We checked in late after dark. The place was amazing. Wonderful experience and so relaxing. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful view out the front door. We will be back.

Very nice and unique place. My niece and I had fun sitting outside and watching the deer on the hammock chairs they have. I go to Beech Mountain twice a year but this time it was just me and my niece and not the entire family so it was nice to stay in a smaller place it was nice and cozy. Host was very responsive For a question I had And I appreciate that.

Very clean & cozy! There were many amenities: extra blankets, coffee corner, ice, board games, toiletries, towels, etc. AC/Heat worked well and the water was nice and warm. The yurt is only 10 minutes away from the main strip that has some fantastic cafes, dining, and things to do. My only gripe was that the road noise was quite loud, but there were bedside earplugs that helped!
