Had a wonderful stay at this wonderful oasis. Loved the set up of the house, where 3 couples had their own private sleeping areas. Outdoor kitchen and living area to meet was perfect. All the beautiful foliage, different birds and small creatures kept us mesmerized each day. Having someone there to clean up after us was an added bonus..The distance from town was ideal, made us get and walk a bit. Clear instructions and recommendations from Frederick were much appreciated.

Wonderful relaxing stay at Casa del Aura!! Couldn’t have asked for a better location. Literally a few steps from the beach. We could hear the waves while in bed. The outdoor kitchen is a dream to eat & cook in, all the basic cooking implements are provided, still rustic of course - to be expected in CR. Wonderful to have air conditioning in the bedroom. The bed is very firm. The area felt secure, tucked away from the main road. Even with people staying in the other rental on property we still felt like we had full privacy. The hammock was really nice to relax in during the afternoon. We especially enjoyed the neighborhood cats, the agoutis, the sloth that zoomed by a couple times, all the birds, monkeys & butterflies. The beach in front of the casa is not swimmable due to reefs so it was very peaceful, just people walking by once in a while. The swimming beach is just a few minutes walk down the coast. Lots to eat and do in the area, Mike had some great recommendations!

We love Costa Rica but the jungle climate poses challenges with mold & mildew and Helado house is designed with natural ventilation so no smelly enclosures which we loved and appreciated!! Walkable distance to quiet beaches, bar & restaurant. We had a monkey symphony at 05:30 am - like being submerged in the jungle but enjoying sounds from the comfort of your bed. Butterflies, birds & tropical foliage galore across the property. The house itself is amazing, pristine, brand new construction. There is lots of construction in the area but never felt bothered by it. Always felt safe and comfortable! We’ll be back! Great stay, thank you!

Es war alles super!

Had a great week at Alice and Eric's place. Eric messaged me on whats app when I arrived in Costa Rica and made communication and check in easy. They live on the property. I thought this would be a house, but we stayed in 2 rooms with a bathroom and outdoor patio and kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful. The pool is absolutely beautiful and refreshing. Everything was very clean and we felt very safe.

I went with my 4 kids and husband to the big house. My brother and wife to the little house and it was absolutely perfect. The location was quiet and peaceful. Both house were spotless clean. We had an amazing tim.

El lugar muy lindo, cerca del centro. Cómodo y seguro. Tiene utensilios de cocina y eso facilita muchos aspectos.

I stayed at Manu’s jungle loft for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The space is comfortable and rustic, with wonderful views and a very comfortable bed. The beaches nearby are some of the best in the world, and it’s very easy to walk to nearby restaurants or grab a TukTuk any time. Manu and Lucas were kind and gracious hosts. I hope to stay again!

Pura vida Javier y Eva, muy agradecidos con el trato que nos brindaron, cabaña super limpia, piscina grande privada, barrio privado entre la jungla muy cerca de la playa, sin duda volveremos!!

El departamento es hermoso, un diseño único rodeado de naturaleza, muy cómodo y con muchos elementos útiles para la cocina. Tambien cuenta con un tender que es muy práctico para la ropa humeda de playa, ducha afuera para sacar la arena. Siempre atentos a responder todas nuestras dudas y necesidades. En particular me tocaron toallas un poco manchadas pero creo que si lo comunicaba me lo cambiaban de inmediato. Podrian mejorar toallas y sabanas . Cerca hay muy buenos restaurantes y Chiqui cafe buenisimo! Recomiendo ir en coche. Volveria mil veces y lo super recomiendo!

Our stay at Angela's was amazing. Along with it being a great place in the description, the reviews sold it for us. The space is very peaceful and private and yet a short bike ride (included with rental) to the beach and local grocery. It is only about a 20 minute bike ride into the small charming town of Puerto Viejo - restaurants, stores and such. The bed is super comfy and the kitchen is adequately stocked with all you need for making meals. Our favorite spot was the screened porch overlooking the property. The grounds are amazing...fruit trees, garden (generously shared) and the "rancho" for socializing and sharing meals. Angela and Randy and Amilio invited us to join them and other guests on Sundays. It was a real pleasure and a highlight of our stay. This is truly one of (if not THE BEST) airbnb experience anyone could ask for! I could go on and on...but I think you get the point by now! Don't hesitate to stay here-it is an AMAZING opportunity! We will be back!

It was an escape from daily business! The accommodation was clean, even though it is surrounded only by nature. The beach is right behind the garden and you can easily walk to the town. We saw a whole bunch of animals in the garden and even sloths in the trees on the beach. Be aware of the neighbors cat. It’s coming every day and tries to get inside. Lynch and Pamela responded extraordinarily fast and helped us find the accommodation by night. We have nothing to complain about and would definitely recommend it.

We really wish there was an option for more than 5 stars! From the moment we arrived until the last minutes we were staying here, we felt very welcomed! The location was amazing, the tree house (green frog) was perfect. As others have commented…the only thing that could have been better. . .is if we had actually extended our stay here. Ricky and Lori were extremely friendly and helpful. The fresh cut Pipas to drink were splendid. 10/10!!! We would recommend and can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Estamos muy satisfechos por todos los servicios brindados y la calidad del trato. La zona es hermosa, la casa cuidadosamente cuidada y en buen estado. Súper espaciosa y con todas las facilidades!

It was a very unique experience. There’s no cell service or wifi so you will need to leave the property to communicate with hosts or in general. We did love staying there and it was a very nice quiet getaway with lots of nature to connect to. There is a waterfall nearby but we found out through locals that the specific waterfall talked about it in the Airbnb is not safe without a tour guide due to robbings and assaults. I would suggest looking at the Google reviews. There are other waterfalls further out that are probably better to visit. We did do the chocolate tour nearby with the Bri Bri and it was a lot of fun. An outdoor shower would have been amazing to have at this property due to how beautiful the property is. We enjoyed our stay and the hosts and Grethel were very kind and responsive.

Dalma es una excelente anfitriona. nos esperó con una rica agua de sapo, ideal y refrescante para el calor con el que llegamos. Es una linda casa caribeña, cómoda y tranquila.

Wir haben unsere Zeit bei Karine und ihren 4 süßen Katzen sehr genossen. Besonders hat uns der schöne Garten und die tolle Outdoor Küche gefallen. Karine hat uns sehr nett begrüßt, mit Schokolade und einem frisch gepressten Saft und hat uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Der Guide für den Nationalpark in Cahuita war auch eine super Empfehlung. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt, wir können diesen sehr weiter empfehlen !
