We had such an amazing time at Sarah’s place! Very serene and less than 3 minute walk to the beach. There is so much to do in this area and rides to town are easy to coordinate with Banana Azul hotel just down the street (or you can rent bikes or drive). The Banana Azul hotel also has a great restaurant right on the beach. The bedroom villa has a wall air conditioner and fan above the bed, so it was very cool at night. It was so amazing to wake up to the monkeys and toucans every morning. Sarah also helped to arrange massages and an incredible meal by Chef David. I can’t say enough good things about our stay we’ll definitely be back.

Fue una linda experiencia, Doña Flory nos atendió a la llegada ,fue muy amable y comunicativa . Definitivamente un buen lugar para disfrutar de la belleza de Cahuita , Puerto Viejo y Manzanillo.

I can't say enough about Escondido! Playa Negra is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay when visiting the local area of Puerto Viejo. Close by to amenities, restaurants, beautiful beaches, a nightlife if you're looking for it on the weekends. Markets everywhere… And the locals are, equally as friendly and enjoyable as the surroundings! The villa was perfect for myself and three girls. There was more than enough room for many more people to join if need be! The grounds are beautiful as well as the pool, and the game room was great for a night in. I would absolutely come back to stay at this villa! It was the perfect place to relax rest and regroup before we went back out for sightseeing and adventures! The kitchen was great for us to come home and do our own cooking when we felt like keeping it low-key. Can't say enough, thank you guys so much for hosting us! We will be back!!!

¡Una experiencia excepcional! Desde el momento en que llegamos, el recibimiento fue atento. Las instrucciones para llegar y acceder a la propiedad fueron muy claras, lo que facilitó todo el proceso. La casa estaba impecable, sumamente limpia y ordenada, y es incluso más bonita de lo que las fotos del anuncio mostraban. La privacidad fue excelente, lo que nos permitió disfrutar del lugar con tranquilidad. La piscina era grande y estaba perfectamente limpia, ideal para relajarse. Además, la casa estaba muy bien equipada para cocinar, lo que nos permitió preparar nuestras comidas sin problema. El host siempre estuvo disponible y atento a cualquier necesidad o pregunta que tuviéramos. Definitivamente, un lugar al que volveríamos sin dudarlo.

Natacha and Martin are wonderful hosts and made sure our entire stay went smoothly, even stocking the kitchen with some much appreciated food upon our arrival. Their home is beautiful, spacious, and one-of-a kind. Our favorite part was being able to view iguanas, monkeys, sloths and various birds from the top deck. The house is in a private setting with the town center close enough to walk (10 minutes) and entrance to Cahuita NP 15 minutes. Natacha made our stay easy with her top notch communication by booking us various activities and even helping with laundry. Gracias Natacha and Martin! Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying here and we would highly recommend it! Pura vida!

First off- thank you Yordi for everything! Yordi was an amazing local host who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He was so friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The service and care really made this already wonderful place outstanding. This place is amazing. Completely private and fenced in, private pool and great location. The place is beautifully and simply decorated, clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is just as beautiful and spacious as the indoor space. Walking to town and the national park took less than 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the living space is even more open and beautiful than in the photos. If you’re in the area and have the chance to book- snatch this up! You won’t regret it. Thanks again, Yordi!

Had an amazing experience staying at the container's house!! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. The location was perfect! Hermosa casa con todo lo necesario. El ambiente natural con la piscina y el jacuzzi le dan un toque mágico a la estadía. Está muy cerca de una de las playas más hermosas como lo es Punta Uva y arrecife.

This is an awesome place to stay, rest and/or work. It feels and is a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy your vacation, the pool is very familiar, you can see the ocean from the balcony, and it is a fact that you will see very relaxed iguanas taking the sun <3. Dalma was very friendly and responsive... I'd love to be back again!

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

El lugar es super espacioso, bonito y como sale en las fotos. Dónde me quedé no hay con que cocinar (ollas), no hay microondas, y la cocina es de gas. Pero fuera de ahí, todo bien, muy tranquilo y a playa negra se llega caminando bien poquito.

Nos gustó Mucho. el lugar muy tranquilo Giacomo nos atendió muy bien muy amable y servicial, esta muy bien ubicado cerca de las playas y lugares recreativos volveríamos sin duda.

Tout simplement la meilleure étape de notre voyage au Costa Rica ! Le logement proposé par Martin était au dessus de nos attentes ! L'endroit est superbe, le jardin magnifique, le logement propre, pratique et tranquille, avec une belle piscine, proche de la Cahuita. Un vrai plaisir d'avoir été reçu par Martin, qui est réactif, arrangeant et amical. Merci pour nous avoir laissé ce magnifique souvenir ! Pura vida!

The rooms are very big and great for groups of people. Steps from the beach, pool, tennis court, super chill people. Next door to Banana Azul beach club so you can hang there and use their services as well.

I booked this apartment intending to get to know the city of Limon, town center & port - not a lot to see, but I appreciated the cultural vibe during a quick taxi tour. I spent most of my time on a pool deck. The big pool was being repainted (so, empty), but the best view is from the table under the palapa facing the sea. I looked forward to taking my morning coffee there to watch the water & waves, birds & boats. The small pool had an even smaller pool stacked over & waterfalling into it... it was beautiful, but loud. The kitchen met most of my needs & they brought anything missing quickly; A/C was good (also a bit loud); washer/dryer were a nice bonus. The beds were comfortable with good pillows & microfiber sheets that sparkled blue static when you ran your hands or feet over them in the dark. In addition to restaurants within walking distance at Playa Bonita, I used a scooter delivery service to shop for me. Carolina and Eddy were great, Ericka was lovely. I will probably be back!
