We stayed here with two young kids and four adults and it was wonderful. There were ample beds to sleep on. The hosts were friendly and responsive. The location is amazing. I would absolutely stay here again (we are already talking about doing the same vacation next year)! My only comment for potential guests - there are really only 2 rooms and a loft that has 2 bunk beds and another full bed. This was slightly inconvenient because there is no door to the stairs of the loft, so when the adults wanted to stay up later and hang out in the living room, it was hard to isolate the noise from where the young kids were. This likely wouldn't be a problem with older kids though! Radiant heating would also be useful in this space, although it seemed like a space heater was an option.

Gabriel’s place is great for families with kids-my toddler didn’t want to leave! It’s such a cute, walkable area of Santa Cruz- very close to multiple beaches! The outdoor area is a dream for nice weather! I liked that there was a variety of living areas so if you went with extended family everyone could have their own space. Definitely recommend!

What you see is what you get! This really is a Fairy Palace. The house is located in a VERY peaceful setting well off the street in the forest. If the house were located in a normal subdivision it might seem a bit "weird". But given it's remote location and charming landscaping it somehow makes sense :) Rezan is very responsive and helpful. The home is larger than the pictures suggest and is very clean and functional. It would be great for a family exploring the area or like me, a traveler looking for peace and quiet to do a bit of business. Only things I would point out are that Rezan actually lives in the apartment below. So you don't have the entire property to yourself. And, I'm not sure what the outdoor cameras see, but one of them is aimed right at the large living room window. So you can't help but feel eyes are on you. Other than that, everything was as advertised. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at Ali’s home. They were very responsive to all questions and requests. The location was perfect, very walkable to downtown and also the boardwalk, but private and peaceful at the same time. A perfect spot to explore and enjoy Santa Cruz!

This place was beautiful and walking distance to The Boardwalk. Very clean with an airy feel. Nice amenities, great closets and lovely jacuzzi bath in the master. Definitely recommend!!

This is our second time staying at Jackie's Aptos home. It is just perfect for our family. It is like staying a friends place who has kids the same age as yours. It always has everything we need for a good family trip, and includes everything we forgot!

Ronnie’s place was exactly as pictured and perfect for our family of 4 (including two toddlers). The place was very clean and conveniently located near restaurants and stores and only a quick drive to downtown Santa Cruz. We appreciated having a full kitchen and access to the washer and dryer. If only it wasn’t raining, we would’ve loved to spend some time in the yard. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt right at home. We’d definitely recommend and would book again.

We had such a great time!! The property was super clean. Jaime was very responsive. She had something we needed under an hour delivered to the front door! The area was cool, walkable & safe, lots of restaurants, ocean just a couple of blocks away, and lots of local artisan shops to visit. The property looked like the pictures and two big windows that brought the sunlight in was really nice , too. Very nice vibes here. We will be back!

This place was spectacular. We had so much fun on our mom’s weekend getaway. It was everything we needed and more. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful clean condo at Seascape resort. As a family with small children it’s perfect I have all the amenities in a condo plus resort features like a heated pool you can use in the middle of winter! Beds were comfortable, great proximity to the pool, and a 15 minute walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

Stayed here for a couple of days for spring break. We will definitely be back. The location is amazing. Two blocks from the ocean and a beautiful walking path and 1/2 a mile to the beach. Really enjoyed our stay! Comfortable bed. For people with accessibility issues it is a second floor so there are stairs.

I stayed here for about a week with my two kids for spring break. I felt very safe here traveling without a partner - right across the street from the police station, next to the fire house, and secure locks on the doors. This place was perfect! Fully stocked kitchen, walking distance from downtown and the beach, lots of space for us plus a few friends who came to visit. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. I'd stay here again!

Great place to stay. Pictures were very accurate. Instructions to enter were easy to follow. Quick walk to Capitola Village. Very quiet place. Will stay there again when in Capitola. Had a problem with the shower drain and Dan came within 30 minutes of my email and fixed it. He was very nice and accommodating.

We stayed at Kathleen's place for Thanksgiving, just after some torrential storms. The weather, however, was fantastic, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub (saltwater--a pleasant surprise!). The beach was really great; our girls really enjoyed hunting for sea glass. Our older one discovered some old glass that dated back to pre-WWII and had trace amounts of uranium in it (it glows bright green under UV light). After that, looking for sea glass was all they wanted to do.... I don't know if all Seascape units are as nicely appointed, but this one was clean, modern, and comfortable. I can't recall if it is in the description, but it has a nice collection of puzzles and board games.

Marshall and his family were so welcoming and made our short stay so pleasant. We can’t wait to come back, beautiful property beautiful family and great place

Amazing, peaceful and serene!! We felt right at home. Breathtaking piece of land!! Rooms were perfect for our family and beds were very comfortable. Weather was cold but bedding kept us warm. The radiant floors and space heater kept the downstairs comfortable. We loved keeping the fire going while it rained all day. Truly and restful stay.

My family love this beautiful cabin, the landlord is super friendly and helpful, and it’s located at a very convenient location, just 10 mins away from Los Gatos downtown and 20 mins from San Jose.

This is the kind of place that makes you want to go back! I stayed here with my two young boys for a couple days while visiting the Redwoods. The house is just as described - cozy and charming. This place is especially perfect for families with little ones. My boys had so much fun exploring the art room, feeding the banana slugs, and playing with the wooden train set in the playroom. Kristy was very communicative and helpful in offering tips for exploring the area. Highly recommend this spot to anybody looking for an awesome spot to call home.

What a peaceful get-away. The cabin was easy to find and the surroundings are beautiful and serene. And the cabin was spotless with a great kitchen and bathroom. I highly recommend.

Lovely cabin close to Henry Cowell Redwoods state park, as well as other state parks near Santa Cruz. The town of Felton has plenty of amenities. All of this made for a very easy and relaxed vacation.
