Charming little cabin, well appointed, comfortable accommodations during a winter stay, would recommend to anyone who enjoys exploring the outdoors and wants to visit the Feather River Canyon. Liz was very helpful and responsive.

This cute little house was perfect for my friend and I. We were on a motorcycle tour through the Sierra’s. The location is great in Portola and within walking distance of some restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. All the amenities in the house worked good and it is nicely decorated making it feel very homey. I highly recommend checking this place out for your next trip to the area. Thanks for everything Vincent!

We have stayed 3 years in a row. we will come back again next year. very peaceful, and quiet...our dogs also love this place. love the sound of the river and the trains. Ember and Chris had everything we needed for a memorable stay.

This is a very cute cottage feeling upstairs unit, decorated well and with an equipped kitchen! The hosts are very accommodating and even greeted us with a card and a loaf of sourdough bread Wendy baked and teas and treats, So kind! There's pretty ducks in the yard and a view of trees that happened to be covered in snow so we got a beautiful view, equipped with heaters in our rooms, we were very cosy. Thank you! I hope to return again.

We had a wonderful time in Melissa's cabin! This area was very secluded and it was exactly what we were hoping for a weekend getaway. Our dog loved the area and the snow! Although it wasn't our intention to intrude on Melissa's day, our dogs went out to find each other and they got along great! It was a wonderful experience and we would love to come back again sometime.

Sabrina was very responsive and the place fit our needs well. It was very comfortable and easy to get in and out.

Awesome mattress - maybe the best mattress we ever slept on! Wow, this place is so beautiful! It’s so private; it feels like you are all alone in this forest. There are pretty places to walk, to barbecue on the deck, or just sit on the deck and admire the forest. The Cabin was charming and homey inside with lovely views of the river and forest. It would probably smell better if they didn’t allow pets. The cupboards are stocked with adequate necessities and yummy seasonings as a bonus. Jon & Lisa had great communication and patience with all of my questions.

This is an absolutely stunning lake side home that had every amenity for families to make treasured lifetime memories. My favorite was the huge picnic table on the deck where you could have dinner and watch the sunset over the lake. Rich, is the perfect host, so flexible and responsive with anything you might need. My parents, husband and I enjoyed day trips to Lassen, fishing literally from the backyard and the beautiful scenery that surrounds this home. Quiet and peaceful, it’s the perfect place to get away from the stress of everyday life. Many thanks for sharing your home with us, we will be back!
