Exceeded all expectations, beautifully and tastefully decorated; loved the beach theme with the decor; the beds were extremely comfy and the linen clean and fresh. The home was extremely well equipped, and a very useful information book supplied. It was warm and had constant hot water and a super bathroom and shower. The property had been decorated with lovely Christmas decorations throughout and the added touches of milk, coffee, biscuits and a basket of dog supplies was a very pleasant surprise. The box of games was brilliant, and we made use of those. We visited The Old Manor Inn, both evenings as only a short walk away, and it is a lovely friendly pub. We stayed locally for walks with the dog and found plenty of good places to eat. Thank you so much for making our stay a pleasant and memorable one.

Amazing stay in this beautiful house. On arrival there were M&S treats and a tub of celebrations. 😋 The lounge kitchen dining room had a Christmas tree and decorations beautifully arranged which made us feel right at home. There was a Xmas tablecloth and napkins provided too. 🎄🥰 The bedrooms were perfect and beds and bathrooms were very clean, fresh and inviting. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed 5 nights and found the house very comfortable and spacious for a longer stay. Our hosts Annie and Paddy were delightful and provided everything for the log burner which was especially nice on cold nights. The location is convenient for Plymouth and easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Some background traffic noise from the A38 but otherwise a very peaceful location. Saltram House close by and definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the decor, lots of great artwork and spotlessly clean. Everything you could want for your stay. The rooms were big and spacious. Lovely garden space for our dog. We really appreciated the little gifts as well. Responsive and great recommendations, we loved The Thatched Tavern. Walking distance to beaches, shops and restaurants! We’d highly recommend!

Lovely location with easy access to the coast path. Beautiful views over the countryside. Clean and well equipped property. We especially enjoyed the scones, jam and cream left by the host. Great communication and information about the local area. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful property! We hired this as a friend’s weekend away and it was perfect. Beautiful communal spaces and outdoor areas! The garden is huge and super beautiful. Really lovely walks all around the area. The beds were so comfortable and all of us slept well which is hard in a group of 11 where people have different bed desires! The kitchen was great, oven worked really well and the provision for making meals was perfect! We made many meals over the weekend and it was perfect! The only note is that the table was tight for 11 people and this home in total sleeps 16. This would have been hard to all eat around one table which most people would want to do if they come as a large group, this would not be possible in either property! We all loved this house, it was a perfect weekend break!

It’s a really lovely house, with huge bedrooms! The owner was great showing us around etc and with providing very comprehensive info in advance. Great for family adventures, games and social gathering! Ideal central location between the moors and coasts. The hot tub and pool table was a hit with kids old & young! Secure back garden is ideal for four-legged friends. Well-stocked local village shop and Post Office within a very short walk is extremely handy for daily newspapers & groceries. Personally we could have done with access to more cleaning things in the kitchen but it was a minor niggle. Elderly parents found the tv in the living room tricky to use as it wasn’t very oldie friendly. e.g no ‘normal’ live tv Freeview channels and having to sign in every time … but that might be down to a local tv signal reception. We would have no absolutely no hesitation booking it again in the future.

Der Aufenthalt bei Julie und die Kommunikation mit ihr liefen einwandfrei! Die Unterkunft war wie auf den Fotos und im Inserat beschrieben und hatte eine tolle Lage mit großem Garten, schönen Aufenthaltsbereichen draußen mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und einem Pool! Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!

A delightful stay in wonderful surroundings, views are sublime, home from home facilities, dog friendly property with lots of walks, well equipped kitchen although we didn't really cook as there are so many restaurants and bars to try! Julie ensured we had everything we needed and communicated well. look forward to a return visit when we have a bit more time to enjoy ourselves.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

We enjoyed a lovely few days at Toby’s place. It felt very homely and welcoming. The wine and sweets for the children on arrival was a lovely gesture, we felt at home straight away. We stayed here with our 4 children and one well behaved dog! The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Every small detail was thoughtful, right down to the practical things like dishwasher tablets, bin liners, cloths, tea, coffee, sugar and more! Kevin and Tina are very responsive hosts and replied to queries very quickly. Thankyou! We would happily book again.

I visited for the evening to see my grandparents as I live in wales and they live in Devon. The bungalow was immaculate, helpful guide provided, the rooms are huge and the blankets and towels are a lovely touch. The shower was good too as it was really warm. The heating does take a while whilst on boost but once warmed up it’s lovely. We did feel a draft from the window and the curtains moved but we were in a storm so that’s understandable. Would have loved more sugars and maybe milk as there wasn’t a shop on site.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room, hot tub and views were all amazing! Jacqui was a great host and was very helpful!! we would definitely recommend & would return.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful cottage with everything we needed for our stay. Lovely and clean and in a great location not too far to travel to get to lovely beaches and walks.

Lovely spacious accommodation. Very peaceful and a great base for enjoying the area. Very clean. We had some travel difficulties so were particularly grateful that Catherine kindly accommodated our very late arrival.

We stayed at peters place for 4 nights with two children. We felt right at home straight away. The place had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The price was described exactly right and it was amazing to arrive in the evening with all the deer right at the top of the path. Beds were comfy and had a great shower. The woods and river at the back were an amazing walk and would highly recommend to spend time exploring. The kids absolutely loved the river and exploring the waters edge . We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to stay again hopefully next year for longer because there is so much more of the woods we did not have the time to explore. For nature lovers this place is a must and is close to some of Devon’s beautiful rivers and around 20-30 mins to the coast line. Peter was friendly and informative when we spoke and left us to enjoy his lovely home and Netflix was a super bonus for us and the kids.

This was such a lovely place to stay! Private and self contained. Clean and tidy. Everything was in full working order and as described and pictured. Lenny was so responsive and helpful too. Would highly recommend staying here. We drove and found the local area very easy to navigate.

The bungalow was beautiful, spotlessly clean, very nicely decorated & had everything, and more, than you could want. kitchen is very well equipped, which is not always the case when renting accommodation, so this was a great asset. There were plenty of books and games for both adults and our daughter's partners five year old. We were only there two nights, so didn't explore the close area as we were there to visit family. However, we wouldn't hesitate to rent Rachel's bungalow again if we're ever down in that area again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Rame- 3RD Best Place for sunsets in cornwall if you can catch it right. walked out the gate and carried on walking for hours exploring southwestcoastpath. Not for the faint hearted though as it is a hella look down along the path and getting back up to the carspace was quite steep indeed. stopped for rests when needed. had a great time altogether. Very peaceful.

Amazing stay met with delicious scones and clotted cream and the most amazing flapjacks we have ever had! And some lovely daffodils. The house was so clean and well equipped felt like a home from home! Perfect spot for exploring the coastal paths. will definitely return thank you Judith xx

Wonderful location with great views over the sea and a woodland to the back. Very cosy, warm and well-appointed property with everything you could need (including plenty of torches for navigating outside at night!). Tamsin was a friendly, responsive host who left helpful and clear instructions. We brought our greyhound and found the bungalow and the village very dog friendly. Great pub and cafes right by the beach!

We had the best week here and Lucy and Andy couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. It's a beautiful space, with plenty of room for camping, group cooking and gathering outside.
