Lovely convenient location with everything you could want and need. Could do with some small glass tumblers. That was it!

Lovely apartment, in a perfect location in the heart of Salcombe. Given the weather was pretty terrible, we had a great long weekend in Salcombe - the apartment was both cosy and comfortable, but had plenty of space for us. Great facilities, comfortable beds and sofa, and beautiful views through the buildings across the estuary. Great comms from the hosts - would definitely stay again. Recommend the Winking Prawn for lunch and the Kings Arms for dinner. The Fortesque became our local for beers, decent wine and a pool table.

This was a great house, extremely clean and well stocked with kitchen and household items. Views of mariner were amazing. Bridget our host gave clear instructions and lots of recommendations. Plenty of room for all guests in the house and ample parking. Was walkable to local pubs, beach and ferries. Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful place so close to town. It’s on a steep but short hill. Basically in the centre of Dartmouth - co op and m&s food a few minutes walk away + pubs/cafes/restaurants all there. The place was clean, views were beautiful. Without a doubt will be back in the summer. Thank you Helen. Decent size for a family of 4.

Lovely short stay with kids. Easy to walk to the beach, shops, soft play, boat trips etc etc. No issues at all, we were able to get on with enjoying the area. The house was very very clean and had everything we needed. Geoff answered a couple of small queries promptly. We would definitely stay again if it was available.

We loved the house! The location was excellent being half way up the high street with a clear view of the sea and the secret stairway out the back of the kitchen up to the roof garden and fire pit was a real treat. The living room fire place was a delight and the wood fuel was very well stocked. The kitchen was a good size and very well lit with natural light thanks to the sky light. The beds were comfortable with good quality bed linen. Thank you Freya for a fantastic stay!

We found the Owl’s Barn easily, set in a beautiful location in the South Hams. The lounge, kitchen / dinner was light and airy with lovely sea views. The kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to the local community pub in Strete which was also good. We even had some lovely weather and enjoyed the balcony in the sunshine. Would defo recommend and would like to return, for easy access to the SW coast path. Thank you very much

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in Regent House. The location in West Looe was perfect for us. The house is near to the Sardine Factory restaurant and café, as well as being very close to 2 convenience stores. We arrived in Looe by train and it was an easy walk to the house. Access to the house via the pad was very simple, we didn’t bother with the keys. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The heating was very easy to operate and the house was warm. We especially appreciated the children’s books!

I must start by saying that Claire's home is one of the few places that I have found in Devon that doesn't have that musty smell. My son has allergies so it's important to us and the place has been refurbished to a very high standard. Secondly thank you so much for the welcome box. It's such a lovely touch and so few places do this anymore, so I greatly appreciate the kind gesture. Thirdly, the house was lovely and warm when we entered which really made it feel so cosy and welcoming. And everything was so clean! It really is a beautiful house to stay in and deceptively large - there is lots of room, the kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of hot water in the shower room.

Another great stay at Stones Throw Cottage with my 2 young boys. Very nicely done, uncluttered and homely, clean, and comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen. Lovely hot shower! Excellent location in a quiet road with the beach just a 5 mini walk away! Manor gardens is a lovely space 5 mins the other way and connects to a walkway to the other end of the beach which is away from the road too - comes out at the sensory garden next to the Pavillion theatre & cafe. Excellent communication with Deborah before and during stay. Highly recommend. Will return!

We loved staying here! Jennie was superb at communication, from her very clear instructions and recommendations to answering any queries. Jennie's place is warm, clean and a pleasure to stay in. It is very comfortable with EVERYTHING you need - it is very well thought out and beautifully decorated and nicely furnished. The showers are hot and beds comfortable. The views from the property are lovely. The surrounding area is great to explore, with great places to eat and the short ferry to Plymouth is easy to catch. We wouldn't hestitate to stay here again and to recommend it to others.

Maria’s place was perfect for our celebratory family holiday. Great living space that everyone can be in / eat in together but with the snug and large kitchen, plenty of space for people to hang out and not feel on top of each other! The views from the front of the property are even better than the photos and it’s a very short walk down to the high street and ferry point. Maria was an excellent host, very quick in responding and proactive with recommendations. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

We had the perfect long weekend at The Shire House. Its location is ideal near all the shops & restaurants and also the river opposite for scenic walks and yet it is totally private once you enter through the gate into the secure walled garden. Christopher’s flexibility with our arrival time was great appreciated and when we did arrive we were welcomed and warmed by the glowing log burner in the large kitchen removing the outside chill of the day. As there were only two of us, (& two border collies who had their beds in the kitchen) we had a choice of bedrooms & chose an upstairs bedroom with a king size bed. The downstairs double bedroom room benefits from an adjacent spectacular wet room. We used the upstairs bathroom (which was not as spectacular as downstairs)! We loved the bright large sitting room on the first floor with two very large windows. The house is extremely well equipped and spacious. The dogs and us had a brilliant weekend. Christopher is the perfect host.

A very pleasant stay in a good neighbourhood, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral square (with some great restaurants) and the University. Alice was a very responsive host, providing suggestions for restaurants and pubs beforehand and very quick to resolve some minor issues when we first arrived. Would certainly stay there again.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great location: in the heart of the Barbican without the noise. Even had an absurd superyacht as a neighbour on our last night (it moored up just below the flat in the harbour). Proximity to Jacka Bakery was not taken for granted. Lovely.

Great lodge, clean and well maintained. There was a Wi-Fi issue and the owners fixed just before we left which we did appreciate. Whilst the interior of the lodge was clean the outside balcony and downstairs outdoor sitting areas would have benefitted from being cleaned. All in all a great place to stay with ample space and a home away from home . Definitely recommend this lodge to peeps Thanks Bev & Ian !

We both enjoyed our stay at the house, it was what we expected, the only thing that we didn’t like was the parking the first day was fine, we parked right outside the house, then we found we could not park anywhere near for 3 days as it looked like the next door neighbors had two or three vehicles and took up the spaces. But apart from that it was great.

Wonderful weekend. The house is everything you could ask for. Walking distance for the town. Andrew explains the road is narrow and it is. But this didn’t bother us as it makes it very quiet. The house was perfect for our stay visiting our son for families day at the Royal Britannia Naval college. It was walking distance to the college. The house had everything you needed and was very clean and warm. Plenty of space for us all. Thank you for our stay. Just a shame it’s not available for his Passing Out Parade dates in August! 😢

We really enjoyed our stay here. We are regulars to Dartmouth and it is in a very handy location, centrally located, in the heart of the town. The place was lovely and quiet, apart from the night we arrived when there was a Halloween Party at the Anglers club next door which went on until Midnight, it was so loud it sounded like the speakers were in the house! Quite stressful when trying to get the kids to bed! However, apart from that we really enjoyed our stay here and the house had everything that we needed.

Amazing place, very well kept and perfect for visiting friends locally, likely to come again.
