Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with my family. Diana’s Birchwood beach house was the prefect spot for our families. Large clean bedrooms. 2 huge bathrooms. Amazing kitchen and dining room. Diana has thought of everything that you would need. This place had it all. Would definitely recommend it for you and your family. Diana was very helpful and responsive. This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

We arrived after dark the first day, in the morning we awoke to amazing views and the tranquility of the waves crashing and wind blowing through the leaves. The cottage is very quaint and cozy. Perfect weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Millie’s cottage!! The place was clean and cozy! The heaters were turned on and ready for us which was a nice surprise. The view is absolutely beautiful! Doreen was an excellent host; she kept in touch and was very helpful. We are hoping to come back when it’s warmer!

It was a last minute decision to book this and I’m so glad I did. It is a lovely, spacious home that was very comfortable. I liked that the beach was so close for winter walks. The host responded to any questions promptly making the experience totally enjoyable. I highly recommend this home for your next stay!

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

This is easily one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The place was beautiful, had all listed amenities, and was in a great location. Has views of the river and is close to several great downtown Sarnia restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarnia!

Great place to stay! LOVED the sunrise on Lake Huron! The lake looked like the ocean with all of its beautiful colors. Sandy beach was a blast for the kids. Great rock collecting and sea glass too. The house was so modern, clean and fit our two families of four just fine. Downtown Lexington is super cute and we had fun browsing the shops and eating ice cream at Scoops Ahoy :) Greatest swimming of my husband's life he said. We had a wonderful time.

What a cozy, peaceful getaway. Exams in university have been stressful and especially after the winter exam season, Cliff Haven was the perfect, much needed, relaxing getaway. The view from the living room window was a joy to wake up to every day, and the quiet neighborhood streets were ideal for our morning walks. The amenities were all in good condition and there was tons of stuff to do inside on those particularly cold days - playing board games and watching movies on the large screen tv were some of our favourites. Pinery Provincial Park was a beautiful experience as well… We enjoyed 2 amazing days cross country skiing on some of the most amazing trails we have ever seen - quite the hidden gem!! Suzanne was a fantastic host! She made us feel like family and went above and beyond to make our kiddies (4 & 2 years old) have the most memorable time with special added touches for the kids. The cottage has everything you need with kids: crib, high chair, kid toys, movies and book. It’s definitely a one stop shop but its biggest prize is having the beach in their backyard and a quick walk down the stairs to access the most beautiful private beach. The cottage is in a great location and easy access to grocery stores, pharmacy, banks if you forgot something - lots of cool local restaurants around if you also don’t feel like cooking. Don’t hesitate and book this place. We will be back! Wish we stayed longer!

The sunset shore cottage is fantastic! Great location between Grand Bend and Bayfield, private beach, quiet area! Cottage is family friendly and spacious. Absolutely recommend

We had a wonderful stay! So many places outside to chose from to sit and relax. Top marks for the beautiful SUP boards and kayaks and a great racking system to store them at the end of each day. The beach is beautiful but somewhat rocky just at water entrance. It quickly transitions to soft sand with several sand bars. Really enjoyed the blue lounge chairs on the beach and the natural shade of a tree. We didn't need our umbrella once. Vicki was incredibly responsive. Loved the Dark Horse winery just around the corner!

This was a little slice of heaven. We got exactly what we were looking for. The home was very warm and inviting. Carla was very responsive to any questions I had. I could not have had a better trip. On a side note, I strongly recommend trying the Schoolhouse Restaurant when you are on the island. You will not regret it. If you are looking for heaven, look no further and spend a little time at this wonderful home.

This location and space of this home is amazing. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy. I would rent this again and hope to in the future. - There are 3 separate rentals on the property so the beach and grounds are not private. - There is no usable WIFI as the internet speed is less than 1MB (dial up) You could not use this as a location for remote work as there is little cell reception also.

We found the home clean and comfortable and very impressively designed. The area felt very safe. Overall, we had a great family retreat and were very satisfied. Mana responded quickly and accommodated our request for early check in. We hope to do something similar next year, and might come here again, but probably will try another area for variety. This stay confirmed that Airbnb is a good choice.

Very clean and comfortable- Kelly was a very friendly & attentive host. First rate paddle boards, kayak, canoe and beach toys were above expectations & I really enjoyed the large modern barbecue grill.

We had 11 women clergy and every bit of this home and the special guest house and game house were spectacular. We lacked nothing. The Lake Huron view was spectacular, even in the cold and misty rain turning to snow. The indoor pool/spa was every bit as good as the photos and the temperature was perfect. Not one person complained about the beds and instead commented on how comfortable they were. The only negative we had was check-out was at 11 AM when we would have preferred to stay another day or two or three or more. Thank YOU Ellen.

This was a top notch property! Excellent location, beautiful lake-house, and great hosts made this vacation awesome. The house is right on the beach and meticulously maintained, clean, and has plenty of space for you and your guests. Derek was prompt with his replies and helpful every step of the way.
