Big Drop Surf House is ideally located a short walk to Playa Maderas. Well equipped and comfortable, staying here you will feel part of the Maderas community. Gaby is a very responsive and resourceful host. The local restaurants/beach bars are great, close, and have delicious food.

We had a great stay at Jose's apartment and are happy we came back! The place is comfortable, private, and has a great hot shower. It's close to the main town but still tucked away from the crowds and noise, offering a peaceful stay. The location is very walkable, just a few blocks from the market, restaurants, and cafes. Would definitely recommend!

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Las instalaciones estaban impecables, modernas y muy bien mantenidas. La habitación era cómoda, espaciosa, y ofrecía un ambiente tranquilo ideal para descansar. La limpieza fue impecable durante toda la estadía, y todos los espacios comunes se encontraban en perfecto estado. La ubicación es muy conveniente, con fácil acceso a puntos de interés y transporte. Además, la seguridad del lugar brinda mucha tranquilidad. Sin dudas, recomendaría este hospedaje y volvería a elegirlo para futuras estadías

Fue maravilloso. Las instalaciones todas muy bien mantenidas y limpias, cuenta con todo lo necesario, cada habitación tiene su propio baño y aire acondicionado, aunque no fue necesario usarlo en la noche porque es muy fresco. La cocina super bien equipada, incluyendo agua para beber y hielo. Una terraza estilo mezzanine que disfrutamos mucho en la noche. El acceso al baño en la laguna espectacular y lo mejor es que hay una piscina perfecta para los chicos, andábamos con nuestras hijas que la disfrutaron por horas cuando ya no querían más estar en la laguna. Especial mención para Luis, el chico nos atendió, super atento y dispuesto a ayudarnos con todo. Fue perfecto, sin lugar a dudas volvería y lo recomiendo.

Nous avons adoré l’appartement, particulièrement la terrasse avec la vue et les couchers de soleil. L’appartement est à 10 minutes à pied de la plage. Heureusement le taxi connaissait l’emplacement. Si vous arrivez par vos propres moyens, assurez-vous vous d’arriver de clarté.

Where do I even begin... I've traveled a lot, stayed in a wide variety of countries and homes, and I think this is among my top 3, if not my absolute favourite. We chose Jon's Villa Urraca for a small group of friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. We wanted something quiet and off the beaten path, with accessible amenities, comfort and simplicity. My group are all seasoned travelers, and it would be my first time to the Tola area in Nicaragua. Having come to Nicaragua for quite a few years, I expected a balance of comfort and challenges, but we found all of the former and none of the latter. Urraca is unique, with 3 separate self contained villas sharing a pool and very private beach, with a great restaurant and bar steps away, a beautiful sunset every night, and all the comforts one could expect. The local staff were amazing, helpful, and just as responsive as Jon throughout our stay. We can't say enough good things about our stay. Thank you Jon and team for an amazing experience!

This is the best beach house I've ever stayed in. The view is spectacular, the house is big and spacious, great for large groups and the price is extremely reasonable for the amount of people you can fit. Recommended 100% and I'll definitely be back here in the future.

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! We were really happy with this apartment. It was very well equiped and Roberta though about even the smallest details like the options to hang the wet clothes and all the equipment in the kitchen . Roberta solved every problem we had along the way ( we had just a few) as fast as possible and we always had a fast answer from her. Marisol, the lady that came to clean was so nice and professional. We really liked her. The swimming pool was always clean and ready to use 😁.

We stayed at Paul’s place for three nights and absolutely loved it! The apartment is very beautiful, clean and comfortable. It has good pressure hot water showers, a well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful views from the balconies. The shared pool is a big plus. We will definitely stay here again!

Billie’s place was way more then expected, it was such a beautiful and peaceful place. billie was a great host, she met us there and showed us everything we needed to know. The pictures don’t do justice of just how beautiful and comfortable this place is, just steps away from playa marsella, catching the sunset and watching the stars from the balcony is a must! we had a great time and would 100% recommend and return again! thanks so much for having us here ! we loved it!

Loved my stay here! I was here 4 nights and it was perfect. It was clean and you ca n just walk in to town. It’s a little on the outskirts but enough away from the noisy “downtown”. There is a good pizza place in the shopping center. The pool was just okay. But good to take a dip in when it’s hot! Nancy was very helpful!
