We had a very pleasant stay in Tortugero. The accommodation is close to the beach and to the Main Street of shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We were barely in contact with the host as the checkin was managed by a local tour guide with whom we also booked two great tours!

What a location! Tortuguero is unique and Carmen (host), Angelo (Carmen’s husband and guide) and Hector (recommended guide with Angelo) helped shape our wonderful experience there. Accommodation perfectly located in quiet and brand new location 4 minutes walk outside the town, with a terrace overlooking the Caribbean. Although tour offers are plentiful in tortuguero , we would highly recommend choosing Angelo and Hector. With them, we went on a night time walk, early morning boat tour and day hike in national park. In this way, Instead of doing tours in large groups, we were just myself and wife, and got more a much more personalised trip. Seeing an incredible variety of animals and plants, going deeper into the canals than other boat trips, I’ve not felt this connected to nature in years. Would highly recommend this magical experience.

Vicky is an amazing host! Super friendly and resourceful. Her recommendations were excellent. We opted to go with Sambola Tours as she recommended them and it was worth every penny. Perfect stay for our 2 nights in Tortuguero for my boyfriend and I. We had 2 days full of activities. Vicky's place had super comfortable bed to rest after all of our tours. The room cool down super fast once we turned the AC on but it stayed pretty cool with the curtains closed. Hot water for showers is available. Close to everything: beach, harbour, and national park. Located mid town. 1 block to and from the boat taxis. This place is great for people traveling light. We each had 1 large suitcase and had just enough room but it might be a tight space for someone with more luggage or more than 2 adults. Great value and location!

Elizabeth has a great little place to stay. It was perfect for me and met all of my expectations. She was responsive to the few questions that came up prior to and during my stay. I would not hesitate to return here in the future.

Great place for travellers on the move to check out this local area of Costa Rica. We wanted to get a non-tourist feel and this is the place. I felt safe walking around the town and everyone was very friendly and helpful towards my wife and I. The host was immediately responsive to some requests i had and made sure we were comfortable. We were able to prepare our own meals, had gated secure parking. Great value, I would recommend staying here.

Nous avons eu un accompagnement du bateau jusqu'à l'hôtel et pour chaque activité que nous avions choisi. L'appartement est bien situé, nous n'avons pas utilisé la cuisine. Jimmy nous a bien accueilli et il est arrangeant.

Logement parfait pour passer une nuit avant d’aller visiter tortuguero. Pedro est un hôte très sympathique.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y cómodo con una excelente vista hacia el río.

We had a really great sleep at Carlos’ airbnb! We will definitely come back! Very accommodating! Very responsive and helpful in all sorts! Nice neighborhood too! Plus we were able to do our quick laundry before heading to tortuguero! Thanks again Carlos!

la atención de Jimmy fue muy buena, estaba muy atento a qué tuviéramos una buena experiencia, y estaba comunicado con los guías de los tours en caso de cualquier cosa. En cuanto llegamos a la Pavona, había alguien esperándonos de parte del hostal dándonos instrucciones para llegar sin problema a Tortugueros. La habitación estaba limpia y ordenada, había aire acondicionado que ayudaba a mantener fresca la habitación. Gracias Jimmy por la preocupación y la experiencia.

Alojamiento ideal para quedarse en viajes largos y a medio camino. Las instalaciones son muy buenas y es un lugar cómodo. Cuando quisimos hacer el check in y out nos comunicamos con el anfitrión sin problema.

Primero que nada agradecer a Grethel y don Esteban por una excelente atención, siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar en todo momneto. El lugar definitivamente es tal cual como se describe, ofrece mucho más de lo descrito, aparte de la área de piscina la propiedad ofrece un sendero con mucha vegetación que lleva a un río que colinda con la propiedad. Un lugar a un bajo costo, pero una muy buena experiencia. Lugar completamente Recomendado.
