Ashley was a dream host. She communicated from booking to check out. The house was clean and just as described. She provided drinks and snacks and coffee and it was much appreciated. I will absolutely come back here if I’m in the area.

I have never been to such an amazing place while traveling or vacationing with my family. We extended our stay with Mrs Rebekah several times. Mr Tedd and Emily and Sara have all been most friendly and so easy to talk to about changing dates. During stay a storm came thru and had broke some branches off their tree in yard. I immediately contacted by message for someone to contact me please within less then 5 mins I was on phone with Mrs Rebekah and in mins before Mr Tedd was walking up to the home. I was so surprised as his main concern at that moment wasn't about the tree itself or the home.. As his first question after introduction was is everyone ok.? I was glad to say that yes we was great I was more concerned about this beautiful home. It was less then 2 hrs before there was someone there to take care of the tree. Knowing any change we made to a storm that left behind branches knowing the great lengths that they took for us has us always staying at any of their homes. #1 host

Don’t miss out on this place!

It was cozy and fun, exactly what we were looking for. The space isn't huge, but the amount of care and details that it contains are incredible. The only two things that were slightly inconvenient were the bathroom being chilly and not a designated kitchen table. And those are clearly not major issues. The pros far outweigh the cons, in all respects. My children are ocean fanatics, and pirates fall right in line. Each little detail like the oceanic countertops, the pirate flag motifes, ocean themed books and toys, heck even the smart TV had a sea theme and made appropriate noises; made the trip. We didn't utilize the pool table or anything, but we certainly made time for the hot tub, which made the stay. You can tell it's a labor of love and care. There were no complications, and all they ask at checkout is to start a load of towels. My kids had a blast and my husband and I enjoyed the swashbuckling fun as well. For our second Airbnb experience, it followed up well.

Great place to stay. Jake is a perfect host, will stay again when back in the area.

It’s beautiful, peaceful, and picturesque. During my stay the WiFi was down. I do recommend being cautious when reaching the top step of the loft. My mother and I both hit our heads on the beam at the top of the stairs a few times. I am 5’9 and my mom is 6’2. Other than that I definitely recommend staying here.

I've stayed at various Airbnbs. This was one of my favorites by far! The location was convenient and quiet. The house was gorgeous! It was extremely comfortable and the beds were cozy. The bathrooms were very clean and had good water pressure (always important). The primary bedroom had a huge walk-in closet which was great to have. Lastly, there were nice little touches, such as extra hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton balls, makeup wipes, etc). 10/10 all around!

The Emerald Cottage was just fabulous! With all of the fun lofts and the lower couches that converted to beds, our family was most comfortable; the kids and adults loved it! The hosts were very responsive even providing a pack and play for our infant in the group. The dining area was spacious enough and we all enjoyed the games that were provided, the movies and projector, and all the goodies displayed on the enclosed shelves (especially the bat in epoxy!). The kitchen was super-stocked and we enjoyed breakfast on our hosts - amazing and so gracious of them! The bathroom with double vanity (a necessity), two private toilets, and roomy shower was so well thought out. All of the decor was outstanding and so fun. And then there's the outdoor area - WOW! We enjoyed smores around the fire, played the yard size Connect 4, and just enjoyed the spacious outdoor area. We just stayed overnight, but the welcome book has so many close by area attractions you could stay busy for days.

Comfortable, clean home with everything you need. Kitchen was stocked nicely and plenty of bathroom towels. We were just driving through and stayed 1 night. Would definitely stay again. Nice grocery store a few miles away.
