Steve's Poipu home is simply amazing. It's one of the best beach locations I've ever stayed in. A quick walk gets you to a perfect boogie boarding beach and a beach where the turtles sleep every night. We also saw lots of whales, monk seals, and pods of dolphins! A great sit down restaurant, deli, and Puka Dog are almost next door, along with a surf shop to rent equipment and do a little shopping. I can't recommend Steve's place enough!

This is hands down one of the most beautiful places. The room was super spacious, way more than the pictures show, the view is just incredible even better than pictures can do justice! The room is a bit of a walk if you don’t get a golf cart ride, but well worth it for the views. Parking gets full rather quickly, but the resort and valet staff take care of it. Overall very happy with the place and would definitely rebook if (hopefully) when I’m back to Princeville!

A dream! Our family had a marvelous time here. You cannot beat the location and view. Easy to get down to the beach and enjoy snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing as it’s never very busy in the bay. We spent a ton of time just sitting out in the gazebo looking over the bay. The beach gear provided also came in extremely handy. Kauai in general is just a beautiful island that we immensely enjoyed. We loved being out of the main towns just enough to feel privacy but close enough to get there in no time. Thank you so much!

Gorgeous and unique. Walkable to beach. The beds and linens were so comfortable and clean. The hot tub is very nice with a great view of ocean.

This was our fourth time staying at a unit in Islander on the Beach. This was probably the best place/unit we have stayed in. It was very clean, modern, and updated. It was nice having two fridges during out stay. The King bed was very comfortable. The corner unit with nice window made the unit seemed bigger than it was. We enjoyed watching sunrise every morning and hearing the waves from the unit. It was also very close to the pool/hot tub area. Tom was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. It was nice not having to go to the front desk for a parking pass, as there was one left in the unit itself. It was also nice being able to use a code each time we came to the unit versus having to actually have a key. All in all, we will definitely see if Tom's place is available next time we are in Kaua'i.

Beautiful home! Enjoyed the oceanfront views- whales, turtles and dolphins. Great place to unwind. Far enough away from the crowds but still close to everything. Home has everything you need, beach chairs/toys, kitchen essentials and spotless! Very proactive and responsive host. Highly recommend this condo to all!.

The Koolcondo Ohana house was perfect for our vacation! The lists are very responsive. The house was clean, well appointed, and just perfect for our 10-person family. The house also has a big yard for games and a lovely pool. It had a lot of beach gear that we used, and Brenneke Beach is just a block away. We will be back!

This home was beautiful and was located right on the beach. Being able to watch the sunrise on the balcony every morning was amazing. The home was equipped with tons of beach stuff. It was great not having to go rent beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The location was perfect for us. Centrally located on the island so north and south shore were easy drives. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Thanks Conrad!

Tina’s Place was a fantastic place to spend a week in beautiful Kauai! We found ourselves in a bind when our hotel accommodations fell through just days before we were to arrive. Thanks to Tina’s Place we received an immediate response to our request to stay at her place along with some of best customer service we could ever ask for. They were professional, polite, kind, delightful and extremely helpful. When we arrived at the unit it was just as described and very comfortable. The amenities were great. The pool water was a little cool, but not unbearable. The lazy river was extremely lazy (lol) and it really wouldn’t move us, but it was still nice. The slides were great fun even for us 50+ year olds. But what we absolutely loved was the sand that was at the bottom of the hot tub and the hot water temperature. The sand entering the pool was also a really neat idea that others should incorporate.The beach is wonderful and was definitely swimmable while we were there. Outstanding stay!

This place was unreal. Probably my favorite porch in the world. I could watch the sea from this balcony all day. From dawn to dusk, at all hours, vibrant with life. Turtles, Dolphins, even Whales. An easy walk to Poipu as well. Idyllic. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Poipu Sands, and Chris was a very helpful and responsive host to whatever questions or concerns we had. The location near Shipwreck Beach and the Maha'ulepu Trail was great to catch the sunrise or play on the beach (all who did were adults, didn't go out far and were careful of waves, still one had sunglasses swept off head, so be warned). We appreciated the 3 ensuite bathrooms; the 3rd bedroom is smaller and has 2 full beds, the masters have K beds. The instructions given for the condo and local suggetions were very helpful, appreciated the beach towels and other recreational equipment for the beach. It was pretty well stocked and clean, but the kitchen is somewhat small. As did others, we also noticed issues with a/c, and some windows and trim needing touchup. But we liked being so close to the pool and nice gas grills, enjoyed having a slight ocean view from the deck, and loved the comfortable condo and convenient location.

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful accommodations, fully stocked kitchen & unit! (needs tongs & a potato peeler though!) The pool was peaceful and beach just a quick walk away. The blinds let in a lot of light, so if you need to nap a baby- it’s very challenging. There is so much space here & the patio is amazing. Lots of comfortable furniture. Highly recommend!

Breathtaking views from sun up to sun down! We loved the high ceilings, too. Very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed.

Great location with super easy beach access. We had a monk seal sleeping on the beach the first morning, which was a good omen I suppose. Home is well appointed with everything we needed and more to enjoy our family vacation. The North coals location is very relaxing, so if you’re looking for more action / activities consider the East or South. No air conditioning but plenty of ceiling fans and excellent cross ventilation with the doors and windows open. Overall a great place to stay.

It was a perfect place for our family of 8. Spacious, clean, great kitchen, walking distance to the club house with 2 restaurants. Plenty of linens, towels etc. even with the draught the landscaping was lush and beautiful..

My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage. This place exceeded our expectations as the property is located footsteps with plenty of privacy. The location is minutes away from the local shops and a national state park. The amenities are top notch. The views from the windows are spectacular. This rating deserves a 10 plus rating…we will be back! Thank you Kristina and Steven for being wonderful hosts!

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this condo. We have stayed at Hanalei Bay Resort in the past and enjoy the natural beauty and location of the complex itself. This lower level unit has amazing views, a great lanai, and is furnished with almost all the things you would hope to have. A boogie board would have been an added bonus. The only thing I think others may want to know before renting this unit is that there is a door that passes through to another unit next door. The door was closed for our stay, but we could hear the neighbors comings and goings and conversations very clearly. Fortunately, during our stay, the neighbors were considerate of this and it wasn't much of an issue. Overall I would highly consider renting this unit again.

It’s a clean and spacious for 4 adults, and a nice location- walking distance to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances for what we need. Also plenty of beach towels and beach chairs, inflatable tubes. My daughter loved sleeping with the sound of beach waves. Susanne responded to my questions quickly and kindly.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at David’s place in Kapa’a! The condo was in the perfect location - walkable to downtown, right on the running path, and an easy drive to the other areas of the island. We loved having the beach right outside the condo to watch the sunrise! The condo was very clean, and we felt super safe and in a nice community-like atmosphere. It was also the perfect place for staying with a toddler- complete with washer and dryer and all the necessities for cooking. I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Kaua’i!

This place was beautiful. Great ocean views from the lanai. You could hear the ocean all day long. It was conveniently located near many of Kauai’s attractions. We went for a boat tour of the Na’Pali Coast and saw humpback whales, drove to see Waimea Canyon, went kayaking and hiking, and so much more. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Kauai.

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.
