Estuve en una casa rural increíble, rodeada de naturaleza y tranquilidad. La casa es acogedora, bien equipada y con un toque rústico que la hace aún más especial. La propietaria fue muy atenta y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El entorno es perfecto para desconectar y explorar los alrededores. ¡Una experiencia excelente que sin duda repetiré!

Sylvie and her family and the puppy, made us feel like friends. The garden was very secure for our dog, lots of lovely places to sit. A good walk for us could be found four minutes walk up the (quiet) road where there was a cycle path that took us into the town with its many amenities, including a lovely little bar and restaurant. Would certainly visit again. Sylvie was specially helpful with any request we made and even telephoned her vet to arrange the necessary paperwork for travelling back to UK with a dog. SO kind, .

Hôte accueillant et sympathique, le logement est une petite maison de campagne très mignonne avec tous ce qu'il faut ainsi qu'un jolie jardin avec vue sur le pré avec les animaux, nous avons passez un bon week end, merci 😊

Parfait, André nous a envoyé des instructions et informations claires, a été très accueillant et a même vérifié pour nous que la fromagerie toute proche était encore ouverte. Le logement était parfait. Le lendemain, il a gentiment montré les chèvres aux enfants. Séjour très agréable, nous avons très bien dormi.

We had a fantastic time! We can tell that everything is done with love and care, every detail! We enjoyed the views and the privacy. At this time of the year it was cold but one we manage to properly use the wood stove it was perfect! We will come back for sure! Perfect place for the entire family!

This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

My time at Le Petite Chouette was utterly magical. I stayed for a month and fully recharged my soul in this peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Ania and Mark are so kind and attentive, and the gite has everything you could possible imagine for your comfort and well-being. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, and my favorite part is the bed, as it was more comfortable than hotel beds with crisp fresh linens and even an electric blanket for a cozy night. I’ll never forget my peaceful evenings in front of the fire (thank you for generously supplying wood!) my long walks to chateau Lavauguyon and the village, excursions to Site de Peyrassoulat, my visits to the contemporary art and meteorite museums in Rochechouart, and my lovely chats with Ania, Mark, their sweet dogs, and the chickens! I am forever grateful for what this stay has done for my spirit! I highly recommend this place if you want deep rest!

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Liebe Laurence, vielen Dank, dass wir Deine wunderschöne Unterkunft und den Garten genießen durften. Für uns waren es wunderschön erdende Tage inmitten einer traumhaften Natur... Yoga und Meditation auf der Holzterasse mit Blick in die Sonne, zu den Kühen und über die Felder, planschen im Pool, radeln zum Lac Plaisance und morgendliche Schwimmrunden, für die Jungs der Sprungturm und die Rutsche, Grillen im Garten, kleine charmante Örtchen, mehr Erholung geht nicht in so kurzer Zeit. Abends der Sonnenuntergang im Garten, kuscheln auf dem Sofa mit Ausblick oder vor dem heimeligen Feuer im Kamin.... Vielen Dank für Deine Gastfreundschaft, Deine sehr individuellen Ratschläge und Deine Ruhe. Wir hatten nach der Abreise einen Tag richtig dolles Heimweh und kommen mit Sicherheit wieder! Chateau Laplagnotte Bellevue was a perfect location. The views from every window were beautiful - all vineyard! It was a special treat to talk with Virginie - so knowledgeable about wines and growing grapes and the area. It is a very short drive in to St. Emilion as well as many chateaus nearby both small and large. I look forward to returning and staying longer. Two nights was just not enough!

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

We both throughly enjoyed our stay. Marie Claire was always happy to help if one had a query . The accommodation was great value for money . We primarily cycled in the locality each day and it was good cycling.
