We loved this place as it was close to downtown yet tucked away in a great neighborhood. We walked to a nice little cafe for a quick small breakfast that was mentioned in their guestbook. We enjoyed their wonderful backyard during 70° weather, BBQ, hot tub, and s'mores! The rooms were comfortable and bathrooms well stocked. We were also thankful for pack'n'play for our little one when she needed to nap during the day. We would definitely love to stay again if and when we come back for a spring break vacation or any other time.

We've stayed at Tonya's place multiple times as I travel to Des Moines for work regularly. She is always a great host, great communication, and fast to respond. Being in the center of Des Moines makes it easy to get anywhere we need to go.

We rented the house for my grand daughters second birthday so all of the family could be together while going to the zoo and botanical gardens. The house was perfectly set up for toddlers in the space downstairs while also having a great set up for our older children and us adults. Hanchaltuu was amazing and I will definitely be using her again if I need to stay in Des Moines for any reason.

Great place for our night in Des Moines. There were four of us and we were able to make a nice dinner in the kitchen and were only 10 minutes away from our downtown concert. Loved Linda’s recommendation to go to nearby Grays Lake for a run the next morning. Great stay.

This is one of those fantastic "small but mighty" houses! It was exactly what we needed and was as expected. The location to the fairgrounds is fantastic, which is what we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again given the chance!

Angela’s place was perfect for our family’s spring break getaway. The house was spotless! Easy to find and check in. We appreciated the snacks, cereal and coffee. Our 5 year old appreciated the toys and books. There were some storms in the area when we were there. Angela sent us a message after the tornado sirens sounded to let us know that they can be for strong winds as well which helped us not worry.

Christy's home is in an older, established neighborhood of Des Moines. It's easily accesible to Interstate 80/35 and also to 235 (via MLK). It's a cozy home completely furnished with antiques, giving you the feel of being in "grandma's house" for a visit.

Carl's place was beautiful! So much space! There were for us on a girls' weekend and we had plenty of space in the apartment. The upper deck was super cute. The apartment and neighborhood full of character. Comfy beds, clean rooms, lots of natural light, fun little restaurant down the street, and check in/out was breezy. Highly recommend!

Perfect east village condo. We loved our time and will definitely stay again. Easily walkable to many bars, restaurants and coffee shops.

This was my first AirBNB in the USA. Great experience with pre travel communications and digital guide book. I felt very comfortable in a city I hadn't been to before. Having two couples staying here, a second key would have been helpful as we pursued different things during the day, but we used the lockbox to "pass the key".

Stayed here for a couple of nights while passing through Des Moines. Becky is likely the most proactive and responsive host I’ve encountered. The space is also totally as described and it’s clear that the host has put serious effort into making the space comfortable with plenty of details covered that other hosts don’t provide: a couple bottles of water, K-cups, snacks, decent toilet paper, information about the area, cute decorations, plenty of seating options, a great shower, etc. The place was easy to access, it is close to downtown, it was clean, and the bed is really comfortable. As clearly noted in the description, you can hear the owners upstairs at times, but it didn’t bother me at all so don’t let that dissuade you from staying here. Great stay all around.

We loved staying here! My family of four had more than enough space for the week we stayed. It was clean, well organized, and I loved the little things they had available such as books and toys for us to enjoy. It really felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. They provided a pack-n-play and a booster seat and were more than accommodating for us during our stay. They were very responsive and helpful if we needed anything. We would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice studio apartment near the downtown area. Beautiful decor and great atmosphere. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars in the area, plenty to do. In a nice part of DSM as well. Also pet friendly so we were able to bring the dog along for the trip which was a huge plus. The weekend we stayed it was too cold to use the front porch, but it also looked nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and organized on our arrival and we enjoyed our stay.

Takes a special license to figure out how to get some water going in the shower, but it was cool having water coming from 3 spots. Plenty of room down there. Decor sits somewhere between Grandma's basement and the Oval Office. No ice available which would have been nice. Thanks for the coffee though, that was good. Check in/out all fine. Parking narrow dead-end street, one side only but wasn't a big deal. Had the little pups upstairs and their zoomies but all I wanted to do was snuggle up with one each evening. I was never offered and I will be upset over that for quite some time. Wasn't there much but was hoping to have access to watch Netflix woulda been a nice bonus. No big deal though. Overall, worked out great.

Jeff’s place was very clean, his directions for check-in and check-out were clear and easy to follow. If we would have had more time, we would have loved to visit all the shops nearby. A quick drive to the Iowa Events Center for any occasion. On top of that, Jeff was great at communicating and very flexible when I had to change my reservation. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay for a week in this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient. However, one of the beds was broken, which made it a bit uncomfortable for the person using it, but we managed. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend this place for others looking for a cozy spot.

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

NIce industrial/loft setting, clean and well appointed. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again.

It was large enough we were able to host a dinner and evening for 8. And the location was perfect.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb thus far. It is perfect location, easy accessible Justin was too tier and overall it is a gem that I really enjoyed will definitely be using again.
