This is the PERFECT place to stay in downtown Des Moines. Walking distance to everything downtown, whether on the street or using the SkyWalk. The building is gorgeous, and the apartment very comfortable. Would love to stay there again!

Carl's place was beautiful! So much space! There were for us on a girls' weekend and we had plenty of space in the apartment. The upper deck was super cute. The apartment and neighborhood full of character. Comfy beds, clean rooms, lots of natural light, fun little restaurant down the street, and check in/out was breezy. Highly recommend!

Very helpful to have backyard access for my dogs, beautiful eclectic garden. Very comfortable bed and although I didn’t need the fridge or stove, it’s nice to know they were there. I didn’t notice if there were any utensils or dishes besides mugs. Quiet neighborhood and great sleeping!

Nice cozy spot that sleeps a ton of people, great shared spaces and a great location.

We loved this place as it was close to downtown yet tucked away in a great neighborhood. We walked to a nice little cafe for a quick small breakfast that was mentioned in their guestbook. We enjoyed their wonderful backyard during 70° weather, BBQ, hot tub, and s'mores! The rooms were comfortable and bathrooms well stocked. We were also thankful for pack'n'play for our little one when she needed to nap during the day. We would definitely love to stay again if and when we come back for a spring break vacation or any other time.

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

Great place for our night in Des Moines. There were four of us and we were able to make a nice dinner in the kitchen and were only 10 minutes away from our downtown concert. Loved Linda’s recommendation to go to nearby Grays Lake for a run the next morning. Great stay.

Jennifer’s place was a great spot for a get away with my sister. Easy to access & close to shopping, events & downtown restaurants.

Clean, simply appointed unit. Easy to get to. Would stay again. Quiet neighborhood and directly adjacent to Drake University.

There were many amenities that weren't listed, there was a hair dryer in a drawer, a crock pot, different seasonings, oils, a working propane grill in the backyard, even had a bag of flour there when I needed a cup of flour. And with 3.5 bathrooms, my daughter kept asking if we could just move in there!

Takes a special license to figure out how to get some water going in the shower, but it was cool having water coming from 3 spots. Plenty of room down there. Decor sits somewhere between Grandma's basement and the Oval Office. No ice available which would have been nice. Thanks for the coffee though, that was good. Check in/out all fine. Parking narrow dead-end street, one side only but wasn't a big deal. Had the little pups upstairs and their zoomies but all I wanted to do was snuggle up with one each evening. I was never offered and I will be upset over that for quite some time. Wasn't there much but was hoping to have access to watch Netflix woulda been a nice bonus. No big deal though. Overall, worked out great.

The inside of the condo is lovely and has some comfortable extra touches. The value and comfort far exceeds any hotel in the area.

This was the perfect location for us to stay with our dog for a quick trip to Des Moines for a concert! Easy to walk to restaurants and bars downtown, and could easily walk over to wooly’s! The place was beautiful and very clean, also quiet! Very cool building too :) Will definitely stay again, as we enjoyed the space, and Jasmina was great with communication!

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

We had a great stay for a week in this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient. However, one of the beds was broken, which made it a bit uncomfortable for the person using it, but we managed. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend this place for others looking for a cozy spot.

I had an amazing time at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and at home. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided all the necessary information for a smooth check-in and check-out. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, and the bathroom was super clean with plenty of linens. The location was perfect—close to all the attractions and restaurants. The skywalk was easily accessible and provided a great opportunity to walk to my destination without having to go outside or drive. I was able to leave my car securely parked free of charge! The neighborhood was a little loud at night, but being on a high floor drowned a lot of it out. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, safe, hassle-free getaway. I’m hoping it will be available for my next visit!

NIce industrial/loft setting, clean and well appointed. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again.

It was large enough we were able to host a dinner and evening for 8. And the location was perfect.
